My Favorite Things Guest Designer - Wednesday Sketch Challenge

Hallo allemaal / Hello everyone!

I'm so excited, i was asked to be guest designing for My Favorite Things again! I feel so honored and blessed to design for them. This month you will see me helping them out with the Wednesday sketch Challenge's, and off course i will be attending the My Favorite Things and friends post so keep on the look out!

So for the first sketch this month i went for a Christmas card, as most of my followers know by now, i tend to make a few cards per month so i don't have to rush at the end of the month. 

First off i made a background using Distress inks, my white acrylic paint marker and the Striped sentiment strip Cove up. 

The Cover up die i cut four times, three times out of white cardstock and one time out of the background i made. I glued everything together and glued it onto a topfold card. The topfold card i gave some Distress ink also so it would match my Cover Up.

Stamped all the images and colored them up using my Copic Markers. Die cut everything with the matching Die-namics and adhered them to my card. The heart and berries i gave a touch of glossy accent and the hats and snow a touch of liquid applicator.

Red - R59, R29, R27, R24

Green - YG67, YG63, YG03

Brown - E47, E44, E43

Daar zat ik dan weer tussen de ventilatoren te knutselen, ditmaal geen kerstkaart maar een een kaart met alcohol inkten. Ik wilde nog graag een kaart maken met de huidige schets van My Favorite Things en tja daar moet je dan wat voor over hebben, hihi.

Op Yupo papier maakte ik met drie verschillende kleuren alcohol inkt de achtergrond, stanste hem uit en plakte het geheel op een witte topfold kaart. 

De moroccan Mosaic Die-Namics stanste ik vier keer uit goud cardstock en plakte ze allemaal op elkaar en in het midden van de basiskaart.

Vervolgens stanste ik het woord thanks vier keer uit wit cardstock en plakte deze op elkaar en daarna in het midden van de doily. De tekst heat emboste ik op zwart cardstock en stanste het daarna uit en plakte het met 3-d tape op de basis.

June Krafty Skrappin' (anything but a kard!) Challenge.

Today starts a new anything but a card challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps blog. You can enter this challenge with anything as long as it is not a card!

AS ALWAYS THE THEME IS: ANYTHING GOES!!!

If you are a regular follower you know i love to make ATC cards for the skrappy challenge so also for this month i made a series of Artist Trading Cards. 

For the series i started making a beach scene using Kraftin' Kimmie hybride ink and some masking technique. For the waves i used a white sharpie.

Die cut some clouds and with a black fineliner i added some birds in the sky. The smaller panels i die cut using the pocket letter die. And for the outside die i used kraft paper.

Stamped all the three images in the sent and colored them using my Copic markers. Then i fussy cut them on the line. Die cut the photobooth strip three times and only used the bottom window. Stamped the same sentiment on all three frames. Using the images and the frame i looked how the images should be placed to get the best result out of them.

Adhered the image to the frame, only at the bottom so it still looks playful. Added some colored twine and a clothespin and glued the images with the frames to the base of the cards.

Gastdesigner Dutch Card Lovers - Mood board

Hallo allemaal,

Twee weken geleden won ik de challenge bij het Dutch Card Lovers blog, ik mocht als prijs een keer gast designer zijn en dat laat ik me natuurlijk geen twee keer aan me voorbij gaan. Deze keer is de uitdaging om gebruik te maken van een Mood board. Toen ik de eerste keer het mood board zag moest ik wel even slikken wat het is een wel een hele uitgesproken kleurencombinatie. Maar ik laat me niet zomaar uit het veld slaan dus zo ging ik er woensdagavond mee aan de slag met deze kaart als resultaat.

Voor de basis gebruikte ik een stencil en grijze inkt. Ik bracht de stenen aan en spetterde er daarna met wat witte inkt op de stenen om het zo een beetje te breken. Stanste het uit met een rechthoekige stans en daarna nogmaals met de ronde stans voor de bovenzijde.

Stanste het raam uit verschillende kleuren cardstock en designpapier en plakte alles aan elkaar. Sneed een stuk wit cardstock en stempelde er de harten op met een achtergrond stempel en plakte dit achter het raam. 

De tekst heat emboste ik op een stuk donkergrijs cardstock en plakte ik op het geheel. Daarover ging dan weer het raam .

Stempelde de kat, vlinders en de tak en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers. Stanste ze uit met bijbehorende stansen en plakte ze op de kaart. Dit alles ging op een wit stuk cardstock en daarna op een topfold donker grijze kaart.

Dit was het mood board wat we hoorde te volgen en sommige hebben misschien al wel gezien dat ik de schets van My Favorite Things heb gebruikt om de kaart te maken.

Today it's Saturday wich means a new challenge started over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog, today the theme is No Pattern paper. You can go every route with this theme so get your stamps, ink and stencils out and play along.

First i made a background using some green and brown inks. Took the Starburst stencil en inked some stars in the background. 

Stamped the image, colored it with Copic Markers and fussy cut it so i could see were i wanted it so i could stamp the sentiment.

Die-cut the square frame so it looks like he is holding a frame painting. Glued everything together and adhered it on the card using 3-d tape.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Hallo allemaal,

Ok eerlijk is eerlijk ik vindt het heerlijk om weer thuis te zijn en mijn creativiteit kwijt te kunnen. Dat gaat nog wat worden wanneer we in de zomer voor 16 dagen naar Amerika gaan... Maar goed dat zien we dan wel weer. Gisterenavond maakte ik nog een kaart voor de sketch challenge van Dutch Doobadoo. Ik ging weer even helemaal terug naar een aantal jaar geleden en maakte een vintage kaart.

De basis knipte ik uit kraft papier, daarna nam ik de mal nog twee maal over één keer uit designpapier en één keer uit wit cardstock. Uit hetzelfde designpapier sneed ik nog een vierkant en bewerkte alles met distress inkt. 

Stanste de cirkel uit wit papier daarna nam ik de binnenkant van de cirkel stans over met potlood op de afbeelding en knipte deze uit en bewerkte allebei met distress inkt.

Uit kraft papier stanste ik verschillende bloemblaadjes en uit wit cardstock een sneeuwster. Maakte mijn strikken met twine, bevestigde daar een charm aan en werkte het af met een bloem.

Met verschillende bloemen maakte ik een bloemen toef en stak hier en daar wat van de bloemblaadjes er tussen.

Stempelde de tekst op wit cardstock en stanste het uit met de bijpassende banner. Bewerkte de bloemen en het kraft papier met witte geso en als laatste voegde ik wat gems toe.

Ahoy, Mate!

Hallo allemaal,

Van het weekend zijn we een heerlijk weekend weg geweest met vrienden. We hebben genoten van elkaar, het park en de nieuwe herinneringen die we gemaakt hebben. Ik heb nu nog de hele week vakantie terwijl Alexander morgen weer aan het werk gaat. Heerlijk het huis voor mezelf en een beetje aankneutelen. Zo maakte ik vandaag nog een kaartje met de huidige schets van My Favorite Things. 

Voor de basis maakte ik een vierkant en bewerkte deze met distress inkt zodat er een strand gemaakt was. Stanste daarna het andere vierkant uit wit cardstock. De boom uit verschillende andere kleuren cardstock en plakte dit aan elkaar.

Het plakte het geheel op een witte topfold kaart en stempelde onder het geheel het sentiment.

Als laatste stempelde ik de figuren en voorwerpen op Copic papier en kleurde ze daarna in met Copic markers. Stanste ze uit met de bijbehorende stansen en plakte alles op de basis.
