Happy Birthday

Hallo allemaal,

Gisteren helemaal vol inspiratie en ideeen dus zo maakte ik dit kaartje ook nog. Ik ging aan de slag met de schets challenge van My Favorite Things en maakte er een galaxy kaart mee.

Maskeerde een cirkel en stempelde de twee planeten zodat ik wist waar de planeten zouden komen. Maakte de achtergrond met verschillende kleuren distress inkt, spetterde wat water en spetterde wat witte verf spetters op mijn achtergrond.

Maakte vervolgende de maan met distress inkt en een stempel van Altenew. Stempelde de planeten op Copic papier kleurde ze in en knipte ze op de lijn uit en plakte ze op de basis. Met de inlaid die-cutting techniek stanste en plakte ik de tekst.

Stempelde het mannetje en kleurde deze in met mijn Copic markers. Stanste het uit met de bijpassende stansen en sneed bij de Ballonen nog wat wit weg. Op de helm deed ik wat glossy accent.

Bugaboo Kerst kaarten serie

Hallo allemaal,

We gaan nog even verder met de kerstkaarten. Onze nichtjes waren te logeren dit weekend en zij willen altijd kaarten maken met tante Marieke. Helemaal prima natuurlijk maar dan kan ik zelf niet geen grote denk projecten doen. Dus zo ging ik maar aan de slag met de kerstkaarten serie gewoon omdat het makkelijk is. De basis is hetzelfde als de andere van kraft en een topfold kaart. Daarop een stuk wit cardstock dat ik heb bewerkt met een embossingfolder. Onder een stuk groen cardstock en wat twine.

Om de schets te volgen maakte ik drie mini banners van designpapier. De digitale stempel lag al klaar op mijn bureau en hoefde ik alleen maar in te kleuren. Plakte het op designpapier en als laatste voegde ik het sentiment toe.

Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge - Texture

Hallo allemaal / Hello everybody!

Today it's Saturday wich means a new challenge started over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog, today the theme is Spring. You can go every route with this theme so get your stamps out and play along.

First i die cut the front panel and the dry embossed it using the woodgrain stencil. I die cut a circle out of it and created a scene behind it using inks, papers and a die. 

Die cut the branch inked it and stamped some leaves to match the branch. Die cut the lantern and inked them as well. Adhered everything on the base card.

Die cut a strip of grass and heat embost the sentiment on top of it. Inked the top of the grass to give it some depth.

Stamped the image, colored it in using my Copic markers and fussy cut it out so i could adhere it to the card.

Have a Merry Christmas

Hallo allemaal,

Daar zat ik dan gisterenavond nog een kerstkaart te maken. Deze keer weer één (inmiddels in de serie) van mijn eigen case kaarten. Mocht je benieuwd zijn wat ik bedoel kijk dan even bij deze twee kerstkaarten.

De basis is een topfold kaart van 10,5 x 13,5. Designpapier op maat gesneden en afgerond met een corner chopper. Een wit stuk voorzien van de sneeuwvlokken met een embossingfolder.

De cirkels uit het designpapier gestanst en opgeplakt zoals de schets het aangaf. De tekst gestempeld en er twee strookjes van gemaakt. Onder de afbeelding heb ik drie enamel dots gedaan.

De digital stempel uitgeprint en ingekleurd met mijn Copic markers. Daarna uitgesneden en gemat op een stuk designpapier. Een strik van twine met daarop twee kerststerren en een enamel dot.

Warmest wishes for a joyful holiday

Hallo allemaal,

Het is heerlijk weer maar ik was eindelijk een paar dagen vrij en eindelijk weer eens in de gelegenheid om mijn hobbykamer in te duiken dus dat heb ik gedaan. Ik heb ook nog wat achterstand bij de kerstkaarten actie van Tiets dus daar zat ik dan vandaag een kerstkaart te maken.

Ik maakte de eerst de achtergrond met distress inkten en spetterde er wat water op voor de witte vlekken tikte ik op een witte paint marker. Maakte de rest van de scene met die-namics en kleurde de sneeuw en het ijs met mijn Copics.

Ik volgde de schets van My Favorite Things dus stanste een ovaal uit wit cardstock en heat emboste de tekst op twee zwarte banners. Ten slotte stempelde ik de flamingo, kleurde deze in met mijn Copic Markers en stanste deze uit met de bijpassende stansen.

This little piggy loves you sow much

Hallo allemaal!

Lang zal ik leven, lang zal ik leven in de gloria, in de gloria hieperdepiep, hoera! Vandaag ben ik jarig, maar zoals de afgelopen vier jaar vieren we het samen in de zomer. Vandaag trakteerde ik mijn bewoners en collega's op een stukje kwark of cognactaart maar verder doe ik er niets aan.

Voor mijn kaart van vandaag ging ik aan de slag met de nieuwe release van MFT, de schets en kleurenchallenge. Ik combineerde alles in één kaart en dit is het resultaat. Heat emboste de achtergrond met wit embossingpoeder op een stuk licht blauw cardstock dit is de voorkant van de kaart. Heat emboste de tekst op een andere kleur blauw cardstock en maakte er drie strookjes van.

Stanste de photoboot stans vier keer en plakte deze op elkaar. Tussen de eerste en de tweede strip plakte ik de varkentjes die ik ingekleurd heb met mijn Copic Markers. Op een vierkant stempelde ik de tekst en plakte daar wat hartjes op in dezelfde donker blauwe kleur.

April release and krafty hop!

And the day has come that the

April Release by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps is available! Go quickly to the shop and make sure the buy all our new goodies!

So to recap again what awesome goodies we had this release you can hop along the designer blogs and see even more inspiration using one or more of the April release products!

This time around i made another card using the new stamp by Nena Sedradin called it's a mystery. I totally love this stamp! I made a birthday card using this set combined with another set.

Stamped the image and the sentiment using our hybride inks, colored them using my Copic markers and cut them using my scissors and a die. I made a trio of windows using a die and gave the background some different colors using distress ink. Adhered the images on a double folded white card also adhered a strip of design paper. Finished of using our enamel dots.

Krafty Peek day 3: It's a mystery + a challenge

Hello all,

Welcome to day three of the April Krafty peeks by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. It's the last day because of tonight all the goodies will be available in store. But we saved last for best i would say, because this set by Neda Sadreddin is da bomb (at least i think that).

The last set of this month release is called It's a mystery! It's a fun versatile set and great for male cards or invitations for a treasure hunt!

So far you did not see a set of ATC cards Coming by so here they are! I had this idea in my head and it worked out just like i wanted to!

For all the four cards i wanted to do the same, so a made a background using Distress inks and stencils. I wanted the charters to be the focal point so i made the spotlight to put the character in. The stencils i used are corresponding with the sentiment.

Stamped all the images and colored them in using my Copic Markers. Fussy cut the images and glued them on the cards. I stamped some solid images using my black ink. Heat embost the sentiment using versamark ink and white embossing powder.

Krafty Peeks day 2: Life is a journey

Hello all,

Welcome back to Day TWO of our April Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are sharing an awesome travel stamp set from artist Emilie Goulet! It's called LIFE IS A JOURNEY!

This super fun stamp set features a lovely lady who looks so joyful to be heading out on an adventure!

Isn't she cute? I think she is! I made a cheerful card with here. Using some designpapers and a embossingfolder. Die cut the circles and added some twine and Kimmie's uber versatile enamel dots! 

Stamped the image and colored here in using my Copic Markers. Then i stamped the sentiment on top of the card on the image because i thought it was the best place.

Krafty Peeks day 1: Good in the woods + Good in the woods accessories

All the krafty FUN is about to begin! Welcome to the April release of 2019 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

This is Day ONE of our Krafty Peeks and we are incredibly excited to share everything with you! We've got new stamps, stencils, ink and enamel dots! Hang on to your inkpads people....here we GO!

We are kicking things off BIG today with TWO brand new sets from artist, Cheryl Grant!! GOOD IN THE WOODS and ACCESSORIES!

For my shadowbox card i used both sets and matched them up. First of i stamped the shadowbox die three times. Twice in white and one time from kraft paper. The kraft die cut i cut them a bit smaller using my scissors so it would match the front. Set those aside and made the background using different dies and cardstock.

The background i sponged blue and put some birds in the sky using my black fineliner. The strips in between i gave them some grass and sand to match the background and the scene. Die cut the rest of the die cuts like the branches, apples, lanterns and the sign. For the sign i made the background myself using the new stencil and ink. Then heat embosst the sentiment and cut it out. With brown ink i gave it a older look.

Stamped all the images and colored them in using my Copic Markers. Fussy cut all the images and adhered them on the right spot on the card.

Kraftin' Kimmie - Inspirational Wednesday

Hallo allemaal/ hello everybody,

Today it's my turn again to give you some extra inspiration on Inspirational Wednesday! This time around i decided to make a card and stick with the current season.

It's a two layer topfold card seize 10,5 x 13,5 cm. With a ray stencil and yellow ink i made the rays. Then i took some pink ink and made the hearts using another stencil. To ground the grass i used some blue ink. I cut a piece of grass using a die and gave the tops of the grass some green. Stamped the sentiment and the image using hybride ink and colored the image in. The image i have fussy cut and then adhered to the card using 3-d tape.

To know ewe is to love ewe

Hallo allemaal,

Woensdag was ik al begonnen me dit kaartje echter kregen we visite en kwam het er niet van om het af te maken zo ging ik gisteren dan maar even verder en maakte het kaartje af. Ik ging aan de slag met de schets van My Favorite Things. Ik draaide hem 180 graden en maakte er een strakke kaart van.

Met distress inkt maakte ik het gras, stanste het daarna uit met de gras stans en het hek uit kraft papier. Plakte het op elkaar en met distress inkt maakte ik de achtergrond. Stempelde ten slotte de tekst

Stempelde de schaapjes en het hart en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic Markers. Stanste ze daarna uit en plakte ze op de kaart. Het hart bewerkte ik met glossy accent.
