My Favorite Things - Mixtape Card Kit Release

For my inspiration card of today I decided to mix it around a bit and make a male birthday card using the Mixtape Sentiments together with the Cassette Tape Die-Namics.

Voor mijn inspiratie kaart van vandaag besloot ik de boel een beetje te mixen en maakte een mannen verjaardag kaart met de Mixtape Sentiments en de Cassette Tape Die-Namics.

First off I cut all the elements for the mixtapes. Then assembled them, cut a Cement Gray rectangle and decided were I wanted the mixtape to be and were the sentiments were going. Stamped the sentiment out of the Mixtape Sentiments on the grey card. Eerst stanste ik alle onderdelen van de cassettes. Plakte ze op elkaar en sneed een Cement Gray basisrechthoek. Besloot waar ik de cassettes wilde hebben en stempelde de tekst van de Mixtape Sentiments op het grijze cardstock.

Cut a Smooth White basecard and added some strips of cardstock in the same colors as the mixtapes. Adhered the gray panel onto the white base. Sneed een Smooth White basiskaart en plakte hier een aantal strips cardstock in dezelfde kleuren als de cassettes. Plakte daarna de grijze rechthoek op.

Glued the mixtapes on the cardbase and trimmed off the exces. Heat set the sentiment out of the Mixtapes Messages and trimmed it to a banner. Adhered it to the panel, cut the wires of the Portable Jams Die-Namics and adhered them to the panel. Plakte de cassettes op de basiskaart en sneed het overhangende af. Heat emboste de tekst uit de Mixtapes Messages op zwart cardstock en stanste het tot een banner. Plakte het op de kaart, stanste de draden van de Portable Jams Die-Namics en plakte deze als laatste op.

Scrap & Co Challenge - Gebruik geen afbeelding

 Hallo allemaal,

Het is de eerste van de maand dat betekend dat er een nieuwe maandelijkse challenge van Scrap & Co begonnen is! Deze maand dagen we je uit om een project te maken met daarop geen afbeeldingen te gebruiken (stansen of build up mallen mogen wel). Volgens mij een hele veelzijdig opdracht dus doen jullie gezellig mee? It's the 1ste day of the month so a new challenge started at Scrap & Co and I have this card for you. This month we challenge you to make a project without using a image (a die cut of build up mask is allouwed). Are you playing with us?

Meedoen met de challenge is simpel; 

• Maak een nieuwe kaart, lay-out, plannerpagina, scrapalbum of mixed mediaproject met de opdracht van die maand. (max. 2 inzendingen per persoon)
• Gebruik voor je nieuwe creatie producten/ merken die we verkopen in de (web)winkel. Twijfel je neem dan even een kijkje in de webwinkel.
• Plaats van je project 1 foto (anders zijn we het overzicht kwijt) voor de 28ste van deze maand in de betreffende map in de Scrap & Co Facebookgroep, of op Instagram onder de #ScrapenCoChallenge en tag @Scrap_en_Co

En wie weet start jij het begin van de volgende maand wel met een leuke cadeaubon van 15 euro voor de (web)winkel, of word je door het designteam uitgekozen tot gastdesigner!

Playing with the challenge is really easy;

• Make a new card, mixed media project, scrapbook layout, planner page or a scrap album using the theme of this month. (a maximum of 2 entries per person)
• Use products and or brands that are being sold in the (web)shop. If you are in doubt what the store is selling take a look over at the webshop.

• Add 1 photo of your project (otherwise we will loose track of things) in the matching folder in the Scrap & Co Facebookgroup. Or over at Instagram and use the #ScrapenCoChallenge and tag @Scrap_en_Co

And who knows you might even win a giftvoucher of 15 euro to the (web)shop, or you might being picked as a guestdesigner for a upcomming challenge.

Voor mijn kaart sneed ik een witte rechthoek en stempelde hier in vijf verschillende kleuren inkt de tekst Joepie van Studio Light. Stempelde daarna op alle grote teksten de tekst je hebt je rijbewijs in zwarte inkt. Heat emboste de andere tekst op zwart cardstock en sneed het tot een banner.

For my card I cut a white rectangle and stamped the large word in five different colors onto the card. Stamped onto the larger sentiments a smaller sentiment using a black ink. Heat set the small sentiment on some black cardstock and turned it into a banner using a die.

Sneed een topfold licht grijze basiskaart en plakte hier in hetzelfde kleur cardstock wat stroken. Plakte de gestempelde achtergrond met foamtape op de kaart en werkte het geheel af met wat doorzichtige droplets. Cut a lightgrey base card and added some strips of cardstock in the same colors as the inks I used. Glued everything onto the card and finished the card of using some clear droplets.

My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #600

 Hello all!

Today I am back again with a new Sketch Challenge by My Favorite Things. This week I decided to make another card using the Parachute Pals . Vandaag ben ik er weer met een nieuwe schets challenge van My Favorite Things. Deze week maakte ik een kaart met de nieuwe Parachute Pals.

So for this week sketch I did not swap around alot and stayed kinda true to the sketch.

Voor de schets van deze week veranderde ik niets en bleef trouw aan de schets.

Cut a sidefold Smooth White Base card. Cut a Smooth White rectangle and stamped the City Block Background onto it using a black ink. Cut the rectangle apart and added it onto the base.

Sneed een Smooth White basiskaart en een Smooth White rechthoek. Stempelde hier de City Block Background op met zwarte inkt. Sneed twee stukken uit de rechthoek en plakte het op de basis met foamtape.

Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Heat set the sentiment out of the Bitty Birthday Wishes on some Black Licorice cardstock and trimmed it down. Finished the card of adding some enemal dots. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met bijpassende Die-Namics. Heat emboste de tekst uit de Bitty Birthday Wishes op Black Licorice cardstock en knipte het tot een banner. Werkte de kaart af met enemal dots.

My Favorite Things June Release Countdown Day 5

 Hello all,

It’s time for the My FavoriteThings June release countdown! During the countdown, the MFT Design Team is sharing lots of projects featuring all of the new products. The new release will officially be available on June 7th at 10:00 am EST (= Europe: June 7th at 4:00 pm CET). Het is tijd voor de My Favorite Things juni release countdown! Nog 5 dagen en dan is de nieuwe release verkrijgbaar. Tijdens de countdown, laat het MFT Design Team verschillende projecten zien met alle nieuwe producten. De release zal verkrijgbaar zijn op 7 juni om 10:00 am EST (in Nederland op 7 juni om 16:00).

Today we are showcasing the newest set by artist Stacey Yacula called; Reel-y Great Day. I decided on making a Clean and Simple birthday card using this set.

Vandaag laten we de nieuwste set van artiest Stacey Yacula zien genaamd; Reel-y Great Day. Ik maakte met deze set een Clean en Simple verjaardagskaart.

Cut a Smooth White rectangle inkblended some Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire on the bottom of the rectangle using the Drifts & Hills Stencil. Using the same stencil and Gathered Twigs Distress ink I inkblended the ground. Then I took the Grassy Edges Stencil and inkblended some Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint Distress ink. For the sky I added some Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass ink. Splattered some water and let it dry.

Sneed een Smooth White rechthoek en inktblende Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch en Chipped Sapphire op de onderkant van de kaart met het Drifts & Hills Stencil. Met het zelfde stencil en Gathered Twigs inktblende ik de grond. Pakte het Grassy Edges Stencil en inktblende Mowed Lawn en Peeled Paint voor het gras. Voor de lucht pakte ik Salty Ocean en Tumbled Glass. Spetterde water en liet het drogen.

Stamped all the images of the Reel-y Great Day, colored them up and cut them using the matching dies. Adhered the rectangle onto a topfold Smooth White base card. Added the images using glue and foam tape and stamped the sentiment directly onto the card. Stempelde de afbeeldingen uit de Reel-y Great Day stempel, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende stansen. Plakte de rechthoek op een Smooth White topfold basiskaart. Plakte de afbeeldingen met lijm of foam tape op de kaart en stempelde de tekst rechtstreeks op de kaart met zwarte inkt.

My Favorite Things - Vault Release Countdown day 1

 Hello all,

One more day to go and then all the Vault Release products by My Favorite Things will be for sale! So set your alarm clocks and make sure you are on time! Nog een dag te gaan en dan zijn de Vault Release producten van My Favorite Things verkrijgbaar! Dus zet je wekker en zorg dat je niet te laat bent!

For today I decided to make a duo of cards using the same products but then slightly different. Love the 80's vibe you getting with the Ride the Wave and Headphones Die-Namics.

Voor vandaag besloot ik een kaarten duo te maken door gebruik te maken van dezelfde producten maar dan toch net even anders. Ik vind de 80's vibe die je van de Ride the Wave en Headphones Die-Namics krijgt helemaal leuk.

Cut a Smooth White sidefold base card, cut a Gravel Gray rectangle slightly smaller. Die cut the Ride the Wave Die-Namics out of Lemon Drop, Orange Zest, Poppin' Pink, Grape Jelly and Boysenberry cardstock and adhered it together.

Placed the Ride the Wave Die cut on the Gravel Gray and decided were I wanted the sentiment out of the Wavy Greetings to go and heat set it. Adhered the Gravel Gray and the Ride the Wave die onto the card using foam tape. Die cut the Headphones Die-Namics out of Smooth White cardstock and assembled it. Added it to the card using foam tape and finished it of using white twine.

Legde de Ride the Wave die cut op de Gravel Gray rechthoek en besloot waar ik de tekst uit de Wavy Greetings wilde hebben. Heat emboste de tekst en plakte de grijze recthoek evenals de Ride the Wave die cut op de basiskaart met foam tape. Stanste de Headphones Die-Namics uit Smooth White cardstock. Plakte het in elkaar en op de kaart. Werkte de kaart af met een stukje wit twine.

For the second card I cut the Ride the Wave Die-Namics out of Sno Cone, Summer Splash, Cornflower, Sour Apple and Jalepeno Popper Cardstock. Instead of heat setting the sentiment I stamped the sentiment using a black ink.

Voor de tweede kaart stanste ik de Ride the Wave Die-Namics uit Sno Cone, Summer Splash, Cornflower, Sour Apple en Jalepeno Popper Cardstock. In plaats van de tekst te heat embossen stempelde ik dit keer de tekst op de rechthoek met zwarte inkt.

Die cut the Headphones Die-Namics out of Black Licorice cardstock and finished it off adding some black twine. Stanste de Headphones Die-Namics uit Black Licorice cardstock, plakte het in elkaar en op de kaart. Ditmaal werkte ik de kaart af met een stukje zwart twine.

My Favorite Things May Release Countdown Day 3

Hop gezellig mee langs alle design team leden voor meer inspiratie.

Today we are showcasing products that are totally suited for male / Fathersday projects. For my card I made a shaker Fathersday card using the Super Stash stamp, together with the Dad and Mustash Trio Die-Namics.

Vandaag laten we producten zien die helemaal perfect zijn voor mannen of bv Vaderdag projecten. Voor mijn kaart maakte ik een Vaderdag shaker kaart met de Super Stash stempel gecombineerd met de Dad en Mustash Trio Die-Namics

Cut a Smooth White topfold base card. Cut 1 cm strips of the colors Smooth White, Kraft, Vintage Timber, Lazy Day and Something Blue cardstock and adhered them onto the Smooth White base card. Sneed een Smooth White topfold basis kaart. Sneed strips van 1 cm uit de kleuren Smooth White, Kraft, Vintage Timber, Lazy Day en Something Blue cardstock en plakte deze op de basiskaart.

Cut a Smooth White rectangle and die cut the glasses out of the Stay Cool Die-Namics out of it. Die cut the same glasses out of Black Licorice cardstock. Adhered some Acetate behind the rectangle and adhered the black glasses onto it. Sneed een Smooth White rechthoek en stanste hier de bril van de Stay Cool Die-Namics uit. Stanste dezelfde bril uit Black Licorice cardstock. Plakte acetate achter de rechthoek en plakte de zwarte bril op.

Stamped the sentiments out of the Super Stash stamp on to the white rectangle. Die cut the Dad Die-Namics out of Something Blue and on of the mustash out of the Mustash Trio Die-Namcis using Vintage Timber. Stempelde de teksten uit de Super Stash stempel op de rechthoek. Stanste de Dad Die-Namics uit Something Blue en de snor van de Mustash Trio Die-Namics uit Vintage Timber.

Adhered some double sided foam on the back of the panel and filled up the shaker using wooden stars. Adhered it on the card and added the mustash and the sentiment on the base card. Finished of adding some white gelpen details. Plakte foam tape achter de rechthoek vulde de shaker met houten sterren en plakte de rechthoek op de kaart. Plakte de snor en het woord op de basiskaart en werkte het geheel af met wat witte gelpen details.

My Favorite Things - April Product Launch

It’s time for the My Favorite Things April product launch! All new products are available right now! The MFT design team is sharing projects created with the new stuff. You can find a lot of inspiration! Het is tijd voor de My Favorite Things april product lancering. Alle nieuwe producten zijn vanaf nu verkrijgbaar! Het MFT design team deelt ook vandaag weer een lading aan inspiratie!

So for the release day I decided to play with the newest Miss Tina stamp called SPECtacular. For today's inspiration I decided on making a mini slimline birthday card.

Voor de release dag besloot ik met de nieuwste Miss Tina stempel genaamd SPECTacular aan de slag te gaan. Voor de inspiratie kaart van vandaag maakte ik een mini slimline verjaardagskaart. 

Heat set the glasses on some Sno Cone, Summer Splash and Tropical Teal. Die cut the glasses using the SPECtacular Die-Namics. Heat set the sentiment (Bitty Birthday Wishes) on some Black Licorice cardstock and die cut it.

Heat emboste de brillen op Sno Cone, Summer Splash en Tropical Teal cardstock. Stanste ze uit met de SPECtacular Die-Namics. Heat emboste de tekst (Bitty Birthday Wishes) op Black Licorice cardstock en stanste het uit.

My Favorite Things April Release Countdown Day 3

 Hello all,

Welcome to day three of the April release countdown by My Favorite Things, we are halfway there! So hop along for more beautiful inspiration by the team. Welkom bij dag drie van de april release countdown van My Favorite Things, we zijn halverwege! Hop gezellig mee langs alle design team leden voor meer inspiratie.

Today is beer day! Well atleast on my blog it is beer day using the new Frosty Beer Mug Die-Namics together with the Here's to You matching stamps.

Vandaag is het bier dag! In ieder geval wel op mijn blog met de nieuwste Frosty Beer Mug Die-Namics gecombineerd met de Here's to You bijpassende stempels.

Inkblended the colors Scattered Straw, Fossilized Amber and Tea Dye Distress ink and splattered some water. Inkblended the white spots using a white ink and the Snowfall Stencil. Glued it onto a Smooth White scalloped background and that went onto a Kraft topfold base card. Inktblende de kleuren Scattered Straw, Fossilized Amber en Tea Dye Distress Inkt en spetterde water. Inktblende de witte rondjes met een witte inkt en het Snowfall Stencil. Plakte de achtergrond op een Smooth White geschulpte achtergrond en het geheel ging op een topfold Kraft basecard. 

Die cut the glass out of Smooth White and added some shading using my Cool Gray Copic markers. For the beer I repeated the same steps as for the background. Glued them together and onto the background. Stanste het glas uit Smooth White en bewerkte het met mijn Cool Gray Copic kleuren. Voor het bier herhaalde ik dezelfde stappen als de achtergrond. Plakte alles op en elkaar en daarna op de achtergrond.

Heat set the sentiment on some Sour Apple and trimmed it down, inkblended it using Bundled Sage and Rustic Wildernes. Die cut some stars out of Eiffel Tower and Red Hot and finished the card of adding the stars. Heat emboste de tekst op Sour Apple, sneed het tot een banner en inktblende Bundled Sage en Rustic Wilderness. Stanste de sterren uit Eiffel Tower en Red Hot en werkte de kaart af met de sterren.

My Favorite Things Celebrate Everything Card Kit Release.

Watch your budget but have fun shopping! De dag is aangebroken dat de Celebrate Everything card kit release van My Favorite Things verkrijgbaar is! En wat vond je ervan schitterend toch? Welke producten belanden bij jou in het mandje? Let op je budget maar heb vooral plezier met winkelen!

So for today's inspiration I decided on making two different cards using the Celebrate with Cake Die-Namics.

Voor mijn inspiratie van vandaag besloot ik om twee verschillende kaarten te maken met de Celebrate with Cake Die-Namics.

First of I cut a Smooth White topfold basecard, added two small strips off pattern paper to the sides. Cut another Smooth White panel and stamped the sentiments from the Celebrate Everything on to it.

Uit Smooth White cardstock sneed ik een topfold basiskaart, aan de zijkanten voegde ik twee stroken designpapier toe. Sneed een Smooth White rechthoek en stempelde hier de tekst uit de Celebrate Everything op.

Out of Chantilly Cream, Fire Coral, Summer Splash, Smooth White and Lemon Drop I cut the cake parts. Inkblended some Lemon Drop and Butterscotch on to the cake itself, some Summer Splash onto the candles and Butterscotch on the flames. Assembled the Cake and popped it onto the card. Finished the card of adding some white gelpen details.

Uit Chantilly Cream, Fire Coral, Summer Splash, Smooth White en Lemon Drop stanste ik de taart onderdelen. Inktblende Lemon Drop en Butterscotch op het taart gedeelte, Summer Splash op de kaarsen en Butterscotch op de vlammen. Plakte alles in elkaar en op de kaart en werkte het geheel af met een witte gelpen.

For my second card I went for a more masculine look. I cut a Kraft topfold base card. Cut a Smooth White rectangle and added some Sour Apple Strips to the sides. Die cut the sentiment out of the Celebrate Everything and the Itty Bitty Celebrations on to the rectangle using Something Blue.

Voor mijn tweede kaart maakte ik een meer mannelijke kaart. Ik sneed een topfold Kraft basiskaart. Sneed een Smooth White rechthoek en plakte hieronder twee strips met Sour Apple. Stempelde de tekst uit de Celebrate Everything en de Itty Bitt Celebrations op de rechthoek met Something Blue.

Die cut all the elements out of Chantilly Cream, Milk Chocolate, Sour Apple, Something Blue and Lemon Drop. Inkblended some Kraft ink on to the cake, some Sour Apple onto the candles and some Butterscotch onto the candles.

Stanste alle elementen uit Chantilly Cream, Milk Chocolate, Sour Apple, Something Blue en Lemon Drop. Inktblende Kraft inkt op de taart, Sour Apple op de kaarsen en Butterscotch op de vlammen.

Assembled the cake and popped it onto the cardbase. Finished the card of adding some White gelpen details. Plakte de taart in elkaar en op de basiskaart. Werkte het geheel af door wat witte gelpen details toe te voegen.
