Vandaag een kaart die ik maakte voor de lopende Lawnfawnatics Challenge; Fun with Food. Ik wisselde wat oudere producten met wat nieuwere. Today a card that I created for the running Lawnfawnatics Challenge; Fun with Food. I created a card using some older and newer products together.

Sneed 1/4 inch stroken cardstock in vier verschillende kleuren, plakte deze om en om op een topfold basiskaart. Sneed een zwarte rechthoek en sneed een aqaurel rechthoek iets kleiner. Stanste de cactussen en beinkte deze. Beinkte de achtergrond met Distress inkten en spetterde water. Sneed een strook aquarel papier, beinkte dit en bespetterde met water en Distress inkt.

Cut 1/4 inch strips of 4 different colors of cardstock, adhered them on to a topfold base card. Cut a black rectangle and a slightly smaller watercolor rectangle. Die cut the cactus and inked them up. Inked up the background and splattered some water. Cut a strip of watercolor paper and inked it up using Distress inks. Splattered some water and Distress ink before adding everything together.

Stanste de onderdelen van de vlag uit vijf verschillende kleuren cardstock en plakte deze tot een geheel. Stempelde de tekst met zwarte inkt.

Die cut all the elements of the banner out of five different colors of cardstock and adhered them to 1 piece. Stamped the two sentiments on the background using a black ink.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en knipte ze uit. Heat emboste de tekst op het bord en stempelde de andere tekst op de wagen. Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using my scicors. Heat set the sentiment on the board and stamped the other sentiment on to the cart.

Vandaag een kaart die ik maakte voor de lopende Lawnfawnatics Challenge; Bingo! Mijn bingo lijn is de G. Ik gebruikte weer eens een aantal nieuwe sets van de laatste release. Today a card that I created for the running Lawnfawnatics Challenge; Bingo, my Bingo line is the G. I created a card using different new products for the latest release.

Eerst beinkte ik de achtergrond met drie kleuren Distress inkt, spetterde water en hot foilde daarna de wolken. Plakte de rechthoek op een witte rechthoek en sneed een topfold Kraft basiskaart.

Inked up a rectangle using three different colors of Distress inks, splattered some water and hot foiled the background. Added the background onto a sliglty larger white rectangle and that went on to a kraft topfold base card. 

Stempelde de stippel lijn op de achtergrond en stempelde daarna alle stempels. Kleurde deze in en knipte ze uit. Sneed uit de voedseltoren de bovenkant zodat de kleur van de achtergrond zichtbaar werd. Bewerkte daarna de voedseltoren met glossy accent.

Stamped the dotted line on the background and all the images onto Copic paper. Colored them up and cut them. Cut the top part of the bird feeder out og the image, to make it see true. Then added some glossy accents to the bird feeder.

Heat emboste de teksten op vellum en stanste ze uit met de stansen. Plakte alle onderdelen op de kaart met lijm en verschillende hoogtes foamtape.

Heat set the sentiments on to vellum and die cut them. Added all the elements on to the card using glue or different heights of foam tape.

Aan de binnenzijde van de kaart plakte ik een gestanste happy die ik bewerkte met de twee lichtste kleuren Distress inkt. Daarnaast stempelde ik de tekst birthday nogmaals. On the inside of the card I added a Happy wich I inked up using the two lightest colors of Distress ink. I also added a stamped birthday.

Whising You a Veggie Happy Birthday

Vandaag een kaart die ik maakte voor de lopende Lawnfawnatics Challenge; Critters and Hobbies . Ik gebruikte weer eens een aantal sets die ik nog niet eerder gebruikte. Today a card that I created for the running Lawnfawnatics Challenge; Critters and Hobbies. I created a card using different products I have never used.

Met de stencil en distress inkten maakte ik de achtergrond, spetterde water en de donkerste kleuren distress inkt en plakte het op een topfold witte basiskaart. Stanste de aarbei en de bladeren. Bewerkte het tot een wortel en plakte het op de kaart.

Using the masks and distress inks to create the background. Splattered some water and the darkest colors distress inks and adhered the panel on to a topfold white basecard. Die cut the strawberry and changed it into a carrot using my Copics and distress inks.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en knipte de uit. Om de groente in de grond te plaatsen, knipte ik de onderkant af en maakte het zwart met een marker.

Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them by hand. I wanted the vegtables to be "rooted" in the ground so I cut the bottom of the images and colored the bottom black using a black marker.

Stanste eerst de banner zodat ik de tekst kon mee bewegen met de banner. Heat emboste daarna de tekst op de banner. Die cut the banner first so I could move the sentiment along with the banner. Heat set the sentiment after that.

Sunny Studio Stamps - Guest Desiger

Hello all,

Today I'm back with a project that I created as a guest designer for Sunny Studio Stamps. The lovely Mendi asked me to be a guest this month and I could not resist saying yes. So for my first project I created a series Artist Trading cards. Vandaag heb ik project voor jullie als gastdesigner voor Sunny Studio Stamps. Mendi vroeg mij of ik voor de maand april gastdesigner wilde zijn en uiteraard kon ik geen nee zeggen. Voor mijn eerste project maakte ik een serie Artist Trading Cards.

For my Project I die cut four rectangle panels using the Polka Dot Parade 6x6 Paper. Die cut a slightly smaller rectangle, and inkblended some different colors of ink onto them. Used the same colors of ink and a stencil to create the conffeti. Splattered some water and adhered them together. 

Voor mijn kaartjes stanste ik vier rechthoeken met het Polka Dot Parade 6x6 Paper. Stanste vier kleinere rechthoeken en ik beinkte deze met verschillende kleuren inkten. Gebruikte dezelfde kleuren inkt en een stencil om de confetti te maken. Spetterde wat water en plakte ze op elkaar.

Stamped the images out of Party Pets Stamp, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the Party Pets Dies. Adhered the images on the cards and added some Glossy Accents to the balloons. Stamped and heat embost the sentiments. Finished the cards of by adding some Citrine, Peridot, Aquamarine and Pink Spinel Juwels. Stempelde de afbeeldingen uit de Party Pets Stamp, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Party Pets Dies. Plakte de afbeeldingen op de kaartjes en bewerkte de ballonen met Glossy Accents. Werkte de kaarten af door op de kaarten Citrine, Peridot, Aquamarine en Pink Spinel Juwels te plakken.

For my second project I created a shaker card using the adorable Cat Antics Stamp. So first I cut a white rectangle. Using the Window Trio Heart Portrait I partially die cut the top and bottom heart. Stamped the sentiment using two different colors of pink inks. Then used the lighest color again for the hearts out of Wedded Bliss. Voor mijn tweede kaart maakte ik een shaker kaart met de super leuke Cat Antics Stempel. Sneed een witte rechthoek. Met de Window Trio Heart Portrait stans, stanste ik het bovenste en onderste hart. Stempelde de teksten met twee verschillende kleuren roze inkt en met de lichtste kleure stempelde ik de hartjes uit Wedded Bliss.

 Added a strip of acetate behind the white rectangle. Cut a sidefold white base card and adhered the Sleek Stripes Paper onto it. Cut a white rectangle and inkblended some Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks onto it. Filled the shaker and closed it.

Plakte een strook acetate achter de witter rechthoek. Sneed een sidefold basis kaart en plakte hier een strook Sleek Stripes Paper op. Sneed een witte rechthoek en beinkte dit met Kitsch Flamingo en Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inkt. Vulde de shaker en plakte hem dicht.

Stamped the cats out of Cat Antics and colored them using my Copic markers. Cut them by using the matching Cat Antics Dies and adhered on to the card. Stempelde de katten uit de Cat Antics Stempel en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers. Stanste ze daarna uit met de bijpassende Cat Antics Dies en plakte ze op de kaart.

Vandaag een kaart die ik maakte voor de lopende Lawnfawnatics Challenge; Inspired by a book, movie or song. Na wat nadenken dacht ik dat de film "De Reddertjes in Kangaroeland" wel leuk zou zijn. Today a card that I created for the running Lawnfawnatics Challenge; Inspired by a book, movie or song. After some thinking I figured it would be fun to use the movie "The Rescuers Down Under".

Voor mijn kaart stanste ik de backdrop uit aquarel papier en een los stuk aquarel papier met Distress Inkten. Bespetterde met water en plakte het op de basiskaart. Stanste het zand en beinkte dit met Distress Inkten. 

For my card I die cut the backdrop out of watercolor paper and inked it up using Distress ink. Inked up some Distress inks on a rectangle piece for the sky. Splattered some water on the both parts. Die cut the sand and inked it up aswell using Distress inks.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en knipte daarna alles uit met de schaar. Ik gebruikte een mutsje van Snowball Fight, de sjaal van Winter Unicorn en de strik van Charge me up voor de onderdelen van Bianca. 

Stamped all the elements, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them by hand. For Biance I used a hat out of Snowball Fight, the scraf out of Winter Unicorn and the bow out of Charge me Up.

Voor Bernard stempelde ik dezelfde muis twee keer. Bij één van de muizen tekende ik een shirt, knipte dit uit en gebruikte dit shirt als een "stencil" om een nieuw shirt te maken. Voor het hoedje pakte ik het mutsje van de boer uit Hay There, Hayrides! For Bernard I stamped the same mouse twice. On one of the them I drew a shirt, cut it and used it as a mask to create a shirt by tracing it. For the hat I used the farmers hat out of the Hay There, Hayrides!

Wishing You a Hoppy Birthday

Vandaag een kaart die ik maakte voor de lopende Lawnfawnatics Challenge; All things birthday. Ditmaal geinspireerd op een kaart die ik zelf eerder maakte alleen dan een lente variant. De winterse versie kun je hier vinden. Today a card that I created for the running Lawnfawnatics Challenge; All Things Birthday. This time I got inspired by this card using a card that I have created before. only this time it's a spring version. Curious about the winter version you can find it here.

Sneed een 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch witte basiskaart. Op twee stukken aquarel papier inktblende ik de lucht en het landschap met Distress Inkten. Spetterde water en plakte de lucht al op de kaart. 

Cut a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch base card. On two pieces of watercolor paper I inkblended the sky and the landscape using Distress inks. Splattered some water and adhered the sky on the card.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en knipte ze daarna uit. Plakte een rij tulpen achter het gras en plakte deze op de kaart.

Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them by hand. Adhered the tulips behind the gras and adhered the landscape to the basecard.

Stempelde en heat emboste de teksten, stanste ze uit en plakte daarna alles op de kaart. Voor de vlaggen maskeerde ik de buitenzijde en stempelde een wortel. Stamped and heat embost the sentiments. Die cut them and adhered all the elements on the card. For the banners I masked the outside before cutting them and stamped the carrot.

Triple M Challenge - I Hope Your Day is Panda-stic

Hallo allemaal,

Het is de eerste maandag van de maand dat betekend weer dat ik een kaart heb die ik maakte voor de Triple M opdracht. Marjolein, Mirande en ik maken 1x in de maand een kaart met een thema en opdracht. Voor deze maand was de opdracht een verjaardagkaart voor een boekenwurm. It's the first monday of the month wich means I have a triple M challenge card. Marjolein, Mirande and I create 1 card each month with a theme and a extra challenge. This month the challenge was to create a birthday card for a bookworm.

Voor de opdracht heb ik even na moeten denken, maar ik bedacht me dat het leuk zou zijn om de panda's van Lawn Fawn te gebruiken voor de opdracht. En om het voor mezelf nog wat ingewikkelder te maken besloot ik ook om de Magic Iris stans te gebruiken.

I really had to think about the challenge, but I figured it would be fun to use the pandas by Lawn Fawn for the card. To make it even more challenging for myself I decided to create a card using the Magic Iris Die.

Sneed een topfold basiskaart twee aquarel rechthoeken. Beinkte beide met Distress inkten, spetterde water en plakte de grootste op de basis kaart. Stanste de andere uit met de Magic Iris achtergrond stans. Stanste alle onderdelen en maakte het mechanisme voor de Magic Iris. 

Cut a topfold card and two watercolor rectangles. Inked them up using Distress inks and splattered some water. Adhered the large rectangle on the base card and cut the other one using the Magic Iris background die. Die cut the pieces for the mechanisme and assembled it.

Stempelde alle afbeeldigen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en knipte ze uit. Legde alles op de kaart zodat ik kon bepalen waar de tekst gestempeld moest worden. 

Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using my sciccors. Placed everything on the card so I could determine were the sentiment should be stamp.

Stempelde de tekst, plakte het mechanisme achter de achtergrond en plakte het op de kaart. Maakte de kaart af door alle afbeeldingen op de voorkant van de kaart te plakken. Stamped the sentiment, adhered the mechanisme behind the background and adhered on to the base card. Finished of by adding all the images to the front of the card.

Vandaag opnieuw een kaart die ik maakte voor de lopende Lawnfawnatics Challenge; Fun with food. Ik denk dat de muisjes wel genieten van de aardbeien patch wat denk jij? Today yet another card that I created for the running Lawnfawnatics Challenge; Fun with food. I think the mice are having quite some fun at the strawberry patch what do you think?

Sneed een witte basiskaart en beplakte dit met designpapier. Sneed een witte rechthoek en bewerkte dit met Distress inkten en stanste het daarna met een gras stans. Sneed nog een rechthoek en bewerkte dit met andere kleuren Distress inkt. Spetterde water en zwarte verf en plakte ze op elkaar op de kaart.

Cut a white basecard and added some pattern paper. Cut a white rectangle and inked it up using some Distress Inks. Die cut it using a grass die. Cut another rectangle and inked it up using different colors of Distress inks. Splattered some water and black paint and adhered them on to the card.

Stanste de beker 8x uit wit cardstock, plakte er zeven op elkaar en achter de achtste plakte ik acetate. Stanste de achterkant van de beker en bewerkte dit met Distress inkten en zwarte verf. Stanste het rietje en de paraplu, vulde de shaker en plakte alles op elkaar.

Die cut the glass 8 times out of white cardstock. Adhered seven together and behind the eight one I adhered some acetate. Die cut the back of the glass and added some Distress ink and black paint splatters. Die cut the straw and umbrella, filled up the shaker and adhered everything together.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste of knipte ze uit. Heat emboste de tekst op zwart cardstock en op de afbeeldingen, stanste het tot een banner en plakte alle onderdelen op de kaart. Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them by hand or with the matching dies. Heat set the sentiments on some black cardstock and the image. and die cut it to a banner. Adhered all the elements on the card.

Studio Light - Pawsome Birthday 2.0

Hier is mijn wekelijkse post voor Studio Light weer. Deze keer maakte ik met de nieuwste Sweet Stories producten een verjaardag kaart. I'm back with my weekly post for Studio Light. This time around I decided on making a Birthday card using the newest Sweet Stories products.

Sneed een witte basiskaart, in dezelfde maat sneed ik een aquarel rechtoek en beinkte dit met Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon en Blueprint sketch. Spetterde water en gebruikte dezelfde kleuren met een stencil.

Cut a white basecard, in the same seize I cut a watercolor rectangle and inked this up using Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon en Blueprint sketch. Splattered somne water and used the same colors with a stencil to create the confetti.

Spetterde zwarte verf, heat emboste de tekst op vellum en stanste het uit met de bijpassende stans. Stempelde de andere tekst op de kaart en stanste de money loop uit zwart cardstock en plakte dit op de kaart.

Splattered some black paint, heat set the sentiment on some vellum and die cut it using the matching dies. Stamped the other sentiment on the card and die cut the Money loop out of black cardstock and adhered this on the base card.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers. Stanste ze daarna uit en plakte alles op de kaart. Stamped the images, colored them using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching dies. Adhered all the elements on the card to finish it off.
