Double M Challenge - Mama Mia

Hallo allemaal,

Het is weer de tweede woensdag van de maand dat betekend dat ook deze maand een kaart gemaakt wordt voor de Double M Challenge. Marjolein en ik maken 1x in de maand een kaart met een thema. Voor deze maand was de opdracht; Mama Mia. Met deze kaart doe ik ook graag mee met de lopende Lawnfawnatics Challenge; Inspired by - Mayra. It's the second wednesday of the month wich means I have a Double M challenge card. Marjolein and I create a card each month with a theme. This month the challenge was to create a card with the theme; Mama Mia. With this card I would also like to join the running Lawnfawnatics Challenge; Inspired by - Myra

Voor mijn kaart was ik geinspireerd door onderstaande kaart van Mayra, ik vind al haar kaarten super! Met moederdag in gedachten vond ik de kleuren superleuk om te gebruiken en zo kwamen de nieuwe bloemen stempels en stansen meteen te pas!

My card was inspired by this card Mayra made, I love all the cards she creates! But with Mothersday in the back of my head I figured the colors where fun to use and this way I could also use my new floral dies and stamps.

Sneed een topfold witte kaart en plakte aan de voorzijde een kraft rechthoek. Stanste een geschupte witte rechthoek en sneed een iets smallere aquarel rechthoek. Beinkte deze met Distress inkten, spetterde water en bewerkte deze daarna met een stencil en dezelfde kleuren inkt.

Cut a white base card, added a kraft rectangle onto it. Die cut a white scallop rectangle, cut a slightly smaller watercolor rectangle. Inkblended it using Distress inks, splattered some water and added the hearts using a mask and the same colors of ink.

Stanste een rand gras, beinkte deze en plakte alles op de kaart. Stanste de letters voor het woord "mom" en heat emboste de andere tekst op een stuk vellum. Stanste de onderdelen van de bloemen 5x en kleurde de bladeren van de bloemen met Copic markers. Maakte ze compleet en plakte ze op de kaart.

Die cut a border of grass, inked it up and die cut all the elements on the card. Die cut the letters for the word "mom" out of yellow cardstock and heat set the other sentiment on some vellum. Die cut the elements for the flower 5x and colored the leaves of the flowers using my Copic markers. Assembled the flowers and added all the elements on to the card.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers. Knipte ze daarna uit en plakte alles op de kaart. Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers. Cut them by hand and added all the images on to the card.

Sunny Studio Stamps - The Graduate

I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a project that I made using the The Graduate. Daar ben ik weer met mijn wekelijkse post voor Sunny Studio Stamps. Vandaag hoop ik jullie te inspireren met een project die ik maakte met de The Graduate.

For my card I thought it would be funny to create a chalkboard kinda look. So I cut a white topfold base card. Cut a 3 x 5 1/2 inch black piece of cardstock and stamped the large sentiment out of The Graduate stamp on to it. Adhered the black piece of cardstock on the base card and trimmed a strip of Kraft cardstock, glued that under the black piece.

Gezien het thema dacht ik dat het wel leuk zou zijn om een schoolbord look te creeeren op mijn kaart. Sneed een witte topfold basis kaart. Sneed een 3 x 51/2 inch zwart stuk cardstock en heat emboste de grootste tekst uit de Graduate stempel in het midden. Sneed een strook Kraft cardstock en plakte beide op de basis kaart.

Heat set the numbers out of the Balloon Numbers stamps using a gold embossingpowder. Die cut the numbers using the matching Balloon Numbers dies. Adhered them on the base and added some gold stars and confetti. To finish the chalkboard look, I added some anti static powder around the sentiment.

Heat emboste de nummer van de Balloon Numbers Stempel met goud embossing poeder. Stanste daarna de nummers uit met de bijpassende Balloon Numbers snijmallen. Plakte ze op de basis en voegde wat gouden sterren en confettie toe. Om de schoolbord look compleet te maken bracht ik nog wat anti static powder aan rondom de tekst.

Stamped all the images out of Foxy Friends and The Graduate, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Foxy Friends and The Graduate dies. Stempelde de afbeeldingen van Foxy Friends en The Graduate, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers. Stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Foxy Friends en The Graduate snijmallen.

Sunny Studio Stamps - Bundle of Joy

I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a card that I made using the Bundle of Joy. Daar ben ik weer met mijn wekelijkse post voor Sunny Studio Stamps. Vandaag hoop ik jullie te inspireren met een kaart die ik maakte met de Bundle of Joy.

If it comes to baby card's I love to create them in a pair if I decided to create a pink/blue version. So for this card I cut 2 white topfold base card. For the front of both cards I used a piece of pattern paper out of the Gingham Pastels Paper. Die cut two panels using the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace. 

Als het op baby kaarten aankomt dan vind ik het leuk om ze in een paar te maken, wanneer ik besluit in een roze/blauwe baby kaart te maken. Voor mijn kaarten deze keer sneed ik een topfold witte basis kaart. Plakte op beide voorkanten een stuk designpapier uit het Gingham Pastels Paper. Stanste twee witte rechthoeken met de Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace snijmal.

Cut a blue and pink rectangle. Two white rectangles slightly smaller. Masked of the bottom and inkblended both using Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar Distress ink. Using a mask and the same ink colors I added the hearts. For some extra bling I added a hotfoil "baby sentiment".

Sneed een roze en blauwe rechthoek, twee witte rechthoeken net wat kleiner. Maskeerde de onderkant van de witte rechthoeken en inktblende deze met Tumbled Glass en Spun Sugar Distress inkt. Met een stencil en dezelfde kleuren inkt, inktblende ik de hartjes. Voor wat extra bling voegde ik een hotfoil "baby" tekst toe.

Stamped the images using the Bundle of Joy stamps, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Bundle of Joy dies. Stamped the welcome sentiment directly on to the card. The boy and girl sentiment out of the Baby Elephant stamp I stamped on the image of the stork. Stempelde de afbeeldigen uit de Bundle of Joy Stempels, kleurde deze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze daarna uit met de bijpassende Bundle of Joy snijmallen. Stempelde de tekst welkom direct op de kaart. De boy/girl tekst van de Baby Elephant stempelset stempelde ik op de zak van de ooievaar.

Sunny Studio Stamps - Afternoon Tea

I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a project that I made using the Afternoon Tea. Daar ben ik weer met mijn wekelijkse post voor Sunny Studio Stamps. Vandaag hoop ik jullie te inspireren met een project die ik maakte met de Afternoon Tea.

When I saw the Afternoon Tea stamps I straight away knew I wanted to create something else then a card. These stamps scream teabag gifting so that is what I did. I made a small gift that can contain up to six teabags. 

Toen ik de Afternoon Tea stempels zag wist ik meteen dat ik er iets anders mee wilde maken dan een kaart. Deze stempels schreeuwen om een project te maken voor theezakjes. Ik maakte daarom een giftbag waar zes theezakjes in kunnen.

So for the bag you need the following pieces of cardstock and pattern paper;

2x 3 x 6 1/2 inch white strips of cardstock

7x rectangles 2 x 3 inch of pink cardstock

1x rectangle 2 x 3 inch of pattern paper

2x strips 4 x 6 inch of pattern paper

Score the white strips of cardstock at 5 inch, and chop both of the top corners. Pierce a hole in the middle and glue them together on the 1,5 inch part. For the front part add a piece of pink cardstock and the pattern paper rectangle. For my project I used the Rainbow Bright paperpad. 

Voor de giftbag heb je bovenstaande maten cardstock en designpapier nodig. Pak de twee witte stroken cardstock en scoor deze op 5 inch. Met een hoekpons, pons je de hoeken van beide stroken en maak een gat bij beide in het midden. Plak de stroken aan elkaar op de 1 1/2 inch kant. Op de voorzijde plak je een roze rechthoek en daarop het stuk designpapier. Voor mijn giftbag gebruikte ik het Rainbow Bright Paperpad.

Stamped the sentiment out of the Afternoon Tea to the front of the gift using a pink ink. To create the inside of the gift I scored both pattern paper pieces on 1/2 inch to create a accordion fold. Adhered the pink cardstock rectangles in every fold. And glued them on the inside of the base. Filled them up with teabags and finished it of with some twine.

Stempelde de tekst uit de Afternoon Tea op de voorzijde met een roze inkt. Om de binnenzijde van de giftbag te maken, scoorde ik beide stroken designpapier door en door op een 1/2 inch. Hierdoor creer je een accordeon vouw. Plak in iedere vouw een roze rechthoek en plak het daarna in zijn geheel aan de binnenzijde van de witte stroken. Vulde de bag met theezakjes en werkte het af met wat twine.

Stamped the images out of Afternoon Tea and Quill Cuties colored them up using my Copic markers. Cut them using the matching Afternoon Tea and Quill Cuties dies. Finished of by adding some wink of stella glitter to the "Diamond" and the hearts. Stempelde de afbeeldingen van Afternoon Tea en Quill Cuties. Kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze daarna uit met de bijpassende Afternoon Tea en Quill Cuties stansen. Werkte de bag af door wat wink of stella glitter op de harten en de diamanten dop te doen.

Sunny Studio Stamps - Puddle Jumpers

I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a card that I made using the Puddle Jumpers. Daar ben ik weer met mijn wekelijkse post voor Sunny Studio Stamps. Vandaag hoop ik jullie te inspireren met een kaart die ik maakte met de Puddle Jumpers.

For today's card I decided to create a mini slimline card, it has been ages since I made one of these. So I cut a topfold white base card and added a piece of yellow pattern paper out of the Sleek Striped Paper Pack. Voor mijn kaart van vandaag besloot ik een mini slimline kaart te maken, het was al weer een hele tijd geleden dat ik er zo eentje maakte. Sneed een witte basiskaart en plakte hier een stuk geel designpapier op uit het Sleek Striped Paper Pack.

On a piece of watercolor paper I inkblended the background using Blueprint Sketch and splattered some water. Die cut the background and adhered it directly on to the card. Op een stuk aquarel papier inktblende ik de achtergrond met Blueprint Sketch en spetterde wat water. Stanste de achtergrond en plakte het rechtstreeks op de kaart.

Die cut the "Splash" sentiment using the new Sydney Alphabet Dies. Stamped the other sentiments out of the Puddle Jumpers and Kiddie Pool stamps on some white cardstock using a yellow ink. Trimmed them down to some small banners and added some white gelpen details to the die cut letters.

Stanste de "Splash" tekst uit geel cardstock met de nieuwe Sydney Alphabet Snijmallen. Stempelde de andere teksten van Puddle Jumpers en de Kiddie Pool Stempels op wit cardstock met een gele inkt. Stanste deze tot kleine banners en bewerkte de gele letters met een witte gelpen.

Stamped the images out of Puddle Jumpers and Foxy Friends (top part of the umbrella) on some Copic friendly paper and colored them up using my Copic markers. Cut the images by hand and added all the elements to the card. Finished the card of by adding some raindrops using Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink. Stempelde de afbeeldingen van de Puddle Jumpers en Foxy Friends (bovenkant van de paraplu) op Copic vriendelijk papier en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers. Knipte alle afbeeldingen uit en plakte daarna alles op de kaart. Werkte de kaart af door met Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inkt de regendruppels te stempelen.

Double M Challenge - Gebruik iets met een rond staartje

Het is weer de tweede woensdag van de maand dat betekend dat ook dit jaar maandelijks een kaart gemaakt wordt voor de Double M Challenge. Marjolein en ik maken 1x in de maand een kaart met een thema en opdracht. Voor deze maand was de opdracht; Gebruik iets met een rond staartje. It's the second wednesday of the month wich means I have a Double M challenge card. Marjolein and I create a card each month with a theme. This month the challenge was to create a card with the theme; Use something with a round tail.

De basis is een witte kaart, beinkte de achtergrond met Salty Ocean en Tumbled Glass. Op aquarelpapier inkte ik Kitsch Flamingo en Picked Raspberry en stanste deze tot de bomen. Op nog een stuk aquarel papier tekende ik zelf het water, knipte het water uit en stanste de bovenzijde. Beinkte het daarna met Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistashio en Peacock Feathers.

The base of the card is a white card, inkblended the background using Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass. On some watercolor papier I added Kitsch Flamingo and die cut the leave border. On another peace of watercolor papier I draw the water and cut it. Die cut the top of the scenery and inkblended all the elements using Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistashio and Peackcock Feathers.

Ik wilde heel graag een soort van Cherry Blossom kaart maken vandaar ook de roze bladeren. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen en kleurde deze in met mijn Copic markers. Knipte alles uit en plakte alle onderdelen op de kaart.

I really wanted to create like a cherry blossom card so that's the reason about the pink leaveborder and the flowers. Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers. Cut all the elements by hand and adhered on the card.

Stempelde de tekst op een stuk wit cardstock en stanste het daarna tot de banner. Bewerkte het geheel met witte gel pen details. Stamped the sentiment, die cut it to a banner and added it to the card. Finished the card of by adding some white gelpen details.

Sunny Studio Stamps - Radiating Circles

I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a card that I made using the Radiating Circles Dies. Daar ben ik weer met mijn wekelijkse post voor Sunny Studio Stamps. Vandaag hoop ik jullie te inspireren met een kaart die ik maakte met de Radiating Circles Stansen.

Die cut two of the soft pink largest circles using the Radiating Circles Dies. Scored one at 1/2 inch and glued them together. This is the base of the card. Die cut the branch and leaves out of kraft and green cardstock and glued it to the card.

Stanste uit zacht roze cardstock twee cirkels met de buitenste stans van de Radiating Circles Stasen. Rilde er 1 op 1/2 inch en plakte ze op elkaar, dit is de basis van de kaart. Stanste de tak en bladen uit groen en kraft cardstock en plakte op de kaart.

Die cut the birdhouses using the Build-A-Birdhouse dies using 6 different colors of cardstock. Die cut the top and bottom part of the houses out of white cardstock. Die cut the holes out of the brightest houses and glued all the elements together.

Stanste de vogelhuisjes met de Build-A-Birdhouse snijmallen uit 6 verschillende kleuren cardstock. Stanste de boven en onderzijde van de huizen uti wit cardstock, stanste daarna de gaten in de voorkant van de donkerste kleuren huizen en plakte alles aan elkaar.

Die cut the rings out of grey cardstock, still using the Build-A-Birdhouse dies. The flowers and leaves I cut using the Woolly Friends Dies. The small circle is the inner circle of the ring die out of the Build-A-Birdhouse dies. Glued all the elements together and decided were to place the sentiment out of the Little Birdie stamp. Stanste de ringen van de Build-A-Birdhouse snijmallen. Stanste de bloemen en blaadje met de Woolly Friends snijmallen. De kleine cirkel van de bloem is de binnenkant van de ring van de Build-A-Birdhouse snijmallen. Legde alles op de kaart en bepaalde waar de tekst uit Little Birdie stempel gestempeld wordt.
