Guestdesigner Time out challenge - halfway reminder

Hallo allemaal / Hello everyone,

Today we are halfway the challenge and there for we have a reminder for you. Don't forget to play along with our theme which is;

Used products: Seaside Seagulls stamps and dies, Die-Namics Dad, Die-Namics slanted sentiment, Die-Namics rolling hills, Die-Namics stitched snow, mini cloud stencil, Die-Namics blueprint 13, Tiny check Paper Pack,  Salty Ocean and Weathered Wood distress ink.

Out of kraft paper and white cardstock i made the rolling hills die namics, i gave the fence a weathered look using the distress ink. I cut a panel with the rectangle die out of Blueprint 13 and gave it some clouds with salty ocean and the cloud stencil. I adhered the sand to the base and die cut another "sand" piece using die-Namics stitched snow and kraft paper. I glued this on to the card.

I die cut the word Dad from blue cardstock and the tiny check paper and glued them together. Adhered them on the card. Stamped the sentiment on some white paper, die cut it with the slanted sentiment die, i made it a tat longer myself because the sentiment was a big to long for the die.

I stamped the seagulls, the hats and the clouds on some Neenah papers and colored them using my Copic Markers. I die cut the clouds using the matching die-Namics and fussy cut the seagulls myself. I glued everything on the base using glue and 3-d tape. I finished of using enamel dots.

Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge - Decorate the inside of your card

Hallo allemaal / Hello everybody!

Today it's saturday wich means a new challenge started over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog, today the theme is Decorate the inside of your card! So get your papers, inks and markers out and play along!

We always enjoy your creations so be sure to submit them so you can have a chance to WIN a $40 gift card to the Shop!! Show us your stuff!! In keeping in line with the rest of our challenges (our Krafty Scrappy Challenge), we will be drawing one winner per month from all Saturday Challenge entries to win a $40 gift card!! You can enter as many times per month as you'd like!!

Used Products: Die-Namics Blueprint 29, Kraft, black and white paper, vellum, From the otter side stamp, Cracked Pistasio, Peacock Feathers, Broken China and Salty Ocean distress ink, Die-Namics Ocean waves, Stencil Make waves, Mini cloud edges stencil, Die-Namics slanted sentiment

First of i made the background using the stencils and the Distress ink and die cut it with the biggest rectangle die from Blueprint 29. Out of white cardstock i die cut the panel. I thought it would be fun if the otter was hiding behind a wave so i die cut a wave with vellum and adhered it behind the frame. I glued the frame on to the card using 3-d tape

I stamped the images with wicked black and colored them in using my Copic Markers. I fussy cut them by hand and glued them onto the base using 3-d tape. I heat embost the sentiment using white embossing powder and die cut it with the Die-namics slanted sentiment and adhered it to the card. I glued everything on a topfold kraft card using 3-d tape.

As the assignment is to decorate the inside of the card, i stamped another otter stamp on some Neenah papers and made waves using distress ink and the make waves stencil. I colored in the otters using my Copic Markers and die cut it using the same rectangle die as on the front. Again i adhered the panel to the base card using 3-d tape.

Have a nice day everyone!

My Favorite Things - Guest Blogpost day two.

Hallo allemaal / Hello everyone,

It's day two of me guest designing for My Favorite Things, and today i have two totally different projects.

First of is a project using the super fun and versatile Fireworks stamps. I started making a background using Satly Ocean, Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Wilted Violet and mustard seed to make some colorful spots. Then i took my Chipped Sapphire, Black soot and Broken China distress ink and finished blending the sky.

I made sure my background was dry before i started stamping the fireworks with Versamark ink. When it was dry enough i stamped the fireworks and heat embost it using white embossing powder. Then i finished the sky using my white gelpen to fill in the sky with some "stars"

The Die-Namics Wow i die cut three times from black cardstock and one time out of silver glitter paper and glued them on to each other so there is some dimension. I heat embost the sentiment from You Wow Me on a piece of black paper and die cut the sentiment with the banner from Die-Namics blueprint 27.

I stamped the small crab from Just Beclaws stamp, but before doing that i removed the eyes and the mouth so it looks like we are watching the crabs from behind. i colored the crabs with R29 Copic Marker and then i took my W5 Copic Marker and gave it a darker look.

With the Die-Namics beach scene builder i made the beach using my Copic markers. The sea i colored using B99, B97, B95, Y15, RV04, V17. The beach has a Neenah Desert Storm base and is colored in using E79, E77, E74.

This card is a large size! It's a double folded card seize 21 x 11 cm. I first cut a panel out of stamping paper and made some clouds using Salty Ocean Distress ink and the cloud stencil.

I thought it would be fun that instead of a bunting i would make a bunting with leaves. So with Green Room, Gumdrop Green and Limelight hybride ink i stamped the leaves from Toucan Do It and die cut them using matching Die-Namics. I glued them on to a string of twine and glued it on the cloud base.

The sentiment i stamped on a piece of black cardstock and heat embost it using white embossing powder. Then i die cut it using the biggest die from the Die-Namics essential fishtail sentiment strips.

I stamped the four birds on some Neenah papers and colored them in using my Copic Markers. I die cut them with the matching Die-Namics adhered them on the line.

On the bottom part of the double folded card i made a strip of designpaper using two pieces of paper from the Black & White striped paperpack. Then i adhered the panel on to the base using 3-d tape.

Have a lovely day!

Guestdesigner Time Out Challenge

Hello Everyone,

Today i have the privilege to be a guest designer at Time Out Challenge´s. And we have a really versatile theme this week and that the word:

You can intrepretend it in any way you like as long as we can see the connection with the word "warm". I made a Christmas card using the sentiment "warmest wishes" also i used the colors red, brown and orange which are "warm colors"

Used products: Die-Namics stitched tag stax, Die-Namics winter trees, Die-Namics stitched snow drifts, Die-Namics Fishtail sentiment strips, MFT whimsical background stamp, Friends in the Forest stamp and matching Die-Namics, Copic Markers, Twine, MFT Hybride kraft ink. Mini Cloud edges stencil.

I started with the making the tag. The biggest die i die cut out of paper and made it a bit shorter. I inked the sky using Salty Ocean distress ink and the cloud stencil. Out of kraft paper i die cut the trees and inked them up with some walnut satin ink. In Three different colors green cardstock i die cut the rest of the trees inked them with mowed lawn and glued them together. Out of white cardstock i cut the snow and adhered it to the tagg using 3-d tape. Then i glued the trees behind them. I made a whole in the tag using my crop-a-dile and i added some twine.

I stamped the images on to some Neenah papers and colored them using my Copic Markers. I die cut them with matching Die-Namics and glued them on to the tag using 3-d tape. I heat embost the sentiment on some red cardstock and cut them with the sentiment strip and adhered it to the tag using 3-d tape. On a piece of kraft paper i stamped the background stamp using Hybride kraft ink and die cut it with a rectangle stitched die and glued that on to a top fold white card and adhered te tag onto it using 3-d tape.

My Favorite Things - Guest Blogpost day one.

Hallo allemaal / Hello everyone,

Today i'm joining you with a super post! I'm still stoked on being this month's guest for My Favorite Things Stamps! Today i got some summery inspiration for you. I'm sorry in advance... it's going to be a long post.

First of is a slider card using the Just Beclaws stamp. The idea in my head was to make a slider card where the crab was moving from behind the sand.

To start of i made the sand and the water. I cut some kraft paper and die cut two pieces. One of them i die cut using the Die-Namics Beach Scene Builder. The front part i made using a die from the Die-Namics Surf & Turf. I splattered some Walnut Stain distress ink mixed with water on to the part and finished of using  some Walnut Stain on the "sides" of the sand.

I took a piece of stamping paper and blended in the sea using Cracked Pistasio, Peacock Feathers and Broken China distress ink. I then splattered some water on to it and dept it of with a paper towel. I ended up stamping some waves from the Seaside Seagull stamp using Peacock Feathers and Broken China Distress ink.

Then i took another piece of stamping paper and made the clouds using Salty Ocean Distress ink and the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil. I adhered the ocean, the beach and clouds on top of each other and die cut it using the Die-Namics Stitched Rectangle Stax set 1.

Now i'm going to make the slider part. First of  i took the biggest straight slider die from the Die-namics Surf & Turf die and cut it in the beach panel. I took a piece of white paper and die cut the slider part from the Die-Namics Volcano and stamped the sentiment from the interactive labels on it. I adhered some 2 mm high 3-d tape on the panel en glued it on a top fold card.

I stamped the crab from the Just Beclaws stamp and colored him using my Copic Markers and die cut with the matching Die-Namics. I made a small strip and adhered it onto the crab and a slider element. I adhered the slider element on the slider part and the crab is moving now. I stamped the sentiment on the front of the sand part and glued it on the base card using a 1 mm 3-d tape.

I finished the card of using the palm tree and coconuts from the Die-Namics Beach Scene Builder out of cardstock. I stamped the seagull from the Just Beclaws stamp, the balloons and cupcake from the Happy Hippo's stamp. Colored them in using my Copic Markers and die cut them with the matching Die - Namics. As a last detail i put some Glossy Accent on to the balloons and eyes of the crab.

My second card of the day is a underwater scene. I made the background first using Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistasio and Broken China distress ink. On the top of the card i "ended" the sea using the Waves stencil. As a last detail i splattered some water on the distress ink and dept it of using a paper towel. I then die cut the panel using the Die-Namics Stitched Rectangle Stax set 1.

Two pieces of kraft paper i turned into sand using the Die-Namics Stitched Snow Drifts and finished them of using some Vintage Photo distress ink. I always make the scene with stamps on the background so i can decide which stamps i wanne use and which not.

The seaweeds and fishes from the Gill Friends stamp and the crab from Just Beclaws stamp i stamped on some Neenah cardstock using Cement Gray Hybride Ink. I colored them in with my Copic Markers using the No Lines technique and die cut them with matching Die-Namics

On the base i used to sentiments the ConCRABulations is in the Just Beclaws set and on you new home can be find in No Place Like Home Stamp

The Die-Namics Birdhouses i die cut out of Neenah paper and colored them in with my Copic Markers. I gave them a rusty look because they are in the sea after all. I glued everything on to a top fold card.  As a last detail i stamped the air bubbles from Gill Friends above the fish with matching Distress ink.

I hope you got inspired and i will see you tomorrow!
