Hallo allemaal,

Zoals de volgers die me al langere tijd volgen weten, ben ik begonnen met bloggen door het maken van de "scrap" kaarten. En gedurende mijn hobby is mijn stijl iet wat veranderd... Maar soms maak ik ook nog wel eens de scrapkaarten en dan met name op bestelling. As the most of my longtime followers know i started out my blog showcasing my "scrap" cards and along the way my style changed just a bit... Sometimes i still like to make a card like this and especially for a commision. 

Ik begon met de basis dat is een kaart cardstock basis die ik dubbelvouwde en daarop de mal overtrok, net iets over het randje zodat hij aan de bovenzijde vast zit. Knipte een maatje kleiner uit wit en nog een maatje kleiner uit het Maja Design papier. My base is a kraft cardbase wich i folded and traced the outer size of the shape overlapping the fold a bit so it would be stuck on the topside of the card. A seize smaller i cut the shape out of white cardstock and another seize smaller out of pattern paper by Maja design.

Sneed een vierkant en een rechthoek uit het Maja Design papier ne bewerkte alles met Walnut Stain Distress inkt. Stempelde de teksten op wit cardstock en stanste ze uit. Maakte de vlaggenlijn compleet met twine en de andere tekst ging nog op een laagje kraft papier. Out of the pattern paper i cut a square and a rectangle and added some Walnut Stain to all the layers of paper. Stamped the sentiment on to white cardstock and cut it using dies. Added some twine to the flags and a layer of kraft cardstock to the other sentiment.

Stempelde de afbeelding, kleurde hem in en stanste het uit. Plakte het op een Kraft basis en bewerkte beide met Walnut Stain Distress inkt. Voegde aan beide zijde wat bloemen toe, de tekst ging in een pin en op de sluier ging nog een laagje wink of stella. Stamped the image, colored it up and cut it using a die. Added it on a layer of kraft cardstock and added some Walnut Stain to both. Added some flowers to both sides, added the sentiment on pin and a layer of wink of Stella to the vale.

June Krafty Skrappin' (anything but a kard!) Challenge.

Today starts a new anything but a card challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps blog. You can enter this challenge with anything as long as it is not a card!

AS ALWAYS THE THEME IS: ANYTHING GOES!!!

Again this month i made a series of Artist Trading Cards. With designpapers i die cut the bows and the backgrounds and gave them a smudge with Distress ink. Stamped the sentiment on some white cardstock and die cut them also. Glued everything together and finished of with some golden sequins.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Hallo allemaal,

Ok eerlijk is eerlijk ik vindt het heerlijk om weer thuis te zijn en mijn creativiteit kwijt te kunnen. Dat gaat nog wat worden wanneer we in de zomer voor 16 dagen naar Amerika gaan... Maar goed dat zien we dan wel weer. Gisterenavond maakte ik nog een kaart voor de sketch challenge van Dutch Doobadoo. Ik ging weer even helemaal terug naar een aantal jaar geleden en maakte een vintage kaart.

De basis knipte ik uit kraft papier, daarna nam ik de mal nog twee maal over één keer uit designpapier en één keer uit wit cardstock. Uit hetzelfde designpapier sneed ik nog een vierkant en bewerkte alles met distress inkt. 

Stanste de cirkel uit wit papier daarna nam ik de binnenkant van de cirkel stans over met potlood op de afbeelding en knipte deze uit en bewerkte allebei met distress inkt.

Uit kraft papier stanste ik verschillende bloemblaadjes en uit wit cardstock een sneeuwster. Maakte mijn strikken met twine, bevestigde daar een charm aan en werkte het af met een bloem.

Met verschillende bloemen maakte ik een bloemen toef en stak hier en daar wat van de bloemblaadjes er tussen.

Stempelde de tekst op wit cardstock en stanste het uit met de bijpassende banner. Bewerkte de bloemen en het kraft papier met witte geso en als laatste voegde ik wat gems toe.

Krafty Peek day 2: Super Cool Pals

Hello everybody,

Welcome to day two of theOctober release by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps and today we are showcasing a super fun set by artist Cheryl Grant called Super cool pals!

It's a super fun set with two images and five sentiments!

Used products: Dutch Doobadoo card art mal (470.713.673), Maja design papers, Marianne Design dies, white gesso, star pin, glitter enamel dots.

First off i made a the base card using kraft cardstock and designpaper. I "distressed" the card using white Gesso to give the snowy look. 

Die cut the dies using kraft and white cardstock and did the same "distressing" with gesso. Stamped the image using Wicked Black and colored it up using my Copic Markers, fussy cut the image leaving a white border.

The Sketchy Challenge - Half way reminder

Hallo allemaal/ Hello Everybody,

We are half way this months sketch on The Sketchy challenge. This month it's a theme month, as the theme is - across the mile / travel. Easy peasy right!

Used prodcuts: Maja Design Papers, Sizzix dies, Flowers, Tulle, Twine, Straw, doily and Noor Design stamps.

First off i made the base of the card, i die cut the bases with a sizzix die and glued two doily's onto it. Before doing that! I put the straw in between the bases and the one doily. Then i die cut a circle with another sizzix die out of blue design papers and topped it of with another circle from design paper.

To finish of the front i used a flower arrangement and some tulle and twine to make a bow on the top of the straw. 

I stamped the Magnolia die and colored here up using my Copic Markers. I then die cut it one more time using a circle die and distressed the circle using distress ink. I also added some post stamps stamps and the sentiment.  

The back of the lollipop is exactly the same as the from without the embellishments and the stamp.

Krafty Peek day 2: Mr & Mrs Claus and A Chat with Santa

Hello everybody!

Welcome back to Day TWO of our September Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! We've got not one but TWO more holiday stamp sets to share with you and they are both SO CUTE!

First up is an adorable set from artist Cheryl Grant called......A CHAT WITH SANTA!

This 4x4 stamp set features a very large image with the man in red and two kiddos plus a furry friend! It also comes with four fun sentiments!

Used products: Dutch Doobadoo shape art mal (470.713.143), Joy crafts stempel, Noor Design die, Maja design papers, pin, cheesecloth, pearls and lace.

Well for the card i used a shape art to make the base of the card, i then made some more designpapers to fit the card. I stamped the wish list image and heat embost it with white embossing powder, i cut it by hand.

Die cut the star border and gave it some details with a white gelpen. On the left hand side i arranged some flowers and in the middle i have some cheesecloth, some lace were i attached some pearls onto.

I stamped the image using Wicked Black and colored it using my Copic Markers, i then fussy cut it out and adhered it to the card. I lastly stamped the sentiment and added it to the flower arrangement using a pin.

This time around i used this months sketch. So i cut out my papers and glued them together. I arranged my flowers how i wanted them and glued them on the card.

Stamped the sentiment on some white cardstock and die cut it with the tag glued a button with some twine on it and adhered it to the card. I finished off using a pearl pin and some white pearls.

I stamped the imaged twice with Wicked black, once on some Copic paper and once on some design paper. I cut the dress out and colored in the rest of the image. I then die cut the panel using the Aurellie die. I mask it on to a white oval using the same die.

I used our sketch from this month. The bases is top fold kraft card. I cut some papers form Maja design and glued them on to white cardstock. Then in the middel i did some twine to match the sketch from this month. I die cut and emboss the dies and gave them a better look using some distress ink.

I colored up the mermaid and made the scene around here myself using my Copic marker. Ik cut here in a rectangle and glued it onto a piece of white cardstock. I finished it of with a sentiment which is included in with the stamp.

The Sketchy Challenge - Half way reminder

Hallo allemaal/ Hello Everybody,

We are half way this months sketch on The Sketchy challenge. This month it's a sketch month, but you are not obligated to use the sketch you can always go for the Anything Goes theme.

Used products; Maja Design papers, Kraftin' Kimmie Furry Holiday Wishes, echo park enamel dots, Die-Namics slanted sentiment strips, Die-Namics stitched circle stax. 

The base is a double folded white card. I glued some matching designpapers on to them i followed the sketch and made a strip out of red designpaper. I finished it off with some enamel dots.

I stamped the mouse from the furry Holiday Wishes and colored him using my Copic Markers, i ended up die cutting him with a stitched circle.

I made some banners using designpapers and glued them together on the top of the card, i stamped the sentiment and die cut it using the slanted sentiment die. I used the die two more times this time from designpaper and glued them on the card. I finished everything off using enamel dots.

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag een kaart voor jullie als gastdesigner voor het Cheerful Sketches Blog. Er is de eerste van de maand weer een leuke schets gestart en vandaag is het aan de guestdesigners om jullie te inspireren.

Gebruikte producten; Maja Design papers, naaimachine, joy crafts stempel, Wild Rose Studio stans, Marianne Design stansen, twine en Bugaboo stempel - Kidz Lily ladybug flower

Het is een dubbele witte kaart van 13,5 x 13,5. Ik sneed eerst de stukken cardstock op maat evenals het designpapier. Ik plakte het op elkaar en naaide met mijn naaimachine een stikrandje.

Stanste de vlinder en plakte het aan elkaar ik plakte er een bloem op om het geheel af te maken. De tekst stempelde ik op wit cardstock en knipte ik daarna uit. Ik maakte een bloementoef links van bij de tekst.

De digi stempel printe ik uit en kleurde ik in met mijn Copic Markers. Ik knipte daarna de bloem op de rand uit zodat ik het daarna met een cirkel stans kon stansen. Ik plakte alles op een cirkel stans van Marianne Design.

It's a double card and i cut out the shape using the Card art mal. I took over the lines one more time and cut it out of designpaper. I took the inside of the shape as well and used it on a different design paper.I made holes in the shape to give them some ends so the card can be closed.

I stamped the image and colored it in with Copic Markers. Then i fussy cut it out and glued it onto the base. Ik die cut some dies and to finish it of i added some flowers.

Krafty Peeks day 4: True Love + a challenge.

Hallo Everybody,

Welcome to Day FOUR of our May Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Our last stamp set is a beautiful set from fabulous artist Emilie Goulet!!!
It's called True Love!

Used Products: Maja Design Papers, I'm roses flowers, Chipboard leaves, Marianne Design and Aurelie dies, Dutch Doobadoo flessenhanger (470.713.005), wooden heart, seambinding, white cardstock, cheesecloth.

I took the stencil and took it over on white cardstock i did the samen on designpaper only now i took some mm off the paper so there would be a difference in size. I die cut the star from white cardstock i glued in onto the paper. I then took some cheesecloth and glued that onto the paper. I made a flower arrangement and used some chipboard leaves to finish it off. 

I stamped both of the images and colored them with my Copic Markers. I fussy cut the dress and the shoe so i could die cut the image. I took over the die on white cardstock and cut it out with my scissors. I stamped the sentiment and glued it on top of the image with 3-d tape. I used some seam binding and made it pink (i only owe white seam binding) and finished it off with a wooden heart.

Pensioen

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag een heerlijke dag gehad op de Art Specially en een hoop bekende mensen ontmoet super leuk! Ik maakte van de week nog een kaartje voor een collega van mijn moeder die met Pensioen mag met de schets van Bugaboo en dacht die moet ik dan nog wel even online zetten voor de tijd voorbij is.

Gebruikte producten: Dutch Doobadoo shape art mal (470.713.165), maja designpapers, Noor! design en Marianne Design stansen. Lint, twine bloemen en kraft en wit cardstock.

Ik gebruikte de drie buitenmaten van de mal en knipte deze op maat. Ik verwerkte verder het lint en de strook designpapier volgens de schets. Ook de bloemen het woord proficiat. De rest voegde ik toe.

Ik gebruikte de digitale stempel stella housekeeper en kleurde haar in met mijn Copic Markers.

Welcome to Day FOUR of our March Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Our last stamp set is another manly set from fabulous artist Emilie Goulet!!!

I first made the layout of the card before i colored him up. Sometimes it works likes that, it seems there is a shift going on in my crafting were nowadays i first make the card before coloring the image. Although that might be depending on the image and what kind of cardstyle i'm making a card. After i made the card i colored op the dude and fussy cut him. I glued him onto the card with some 3-d tape.

The Sketchy Challenge - Theme challenge Anything Goes

Hallo allemaal/ Hello Everybody,

A new challenge started on The Sketchy challenge a new theme challenge; this time the theme is Anything goes! Easy peasy if you ask me!

Products used: Dutch Doobadoo Shape art (4700713.154), Maja design papers, Noor Design Dies, I'm Rosses flowers, Syta van Gelderen image, wooden stars, Dutch doobadoo label art, icecrystal, 

I first took over the shape art onto kraft, white cardstock and designpapers. Then i cut some pieces of designpapers matching the sketch that Dutch Doobadoo provided. I die cut the the die from Noor Design out of kraft paper. I cut out a white piece of cardstock and the image using the inner die of the same die as i used onto the kraft. I glued everything together.

Onto wooden stars i put some glue and then put some icecrystals on top of it to make it sparkle. I took over the letter on the tag because i thought they were not bright enough. I made a flowerstack al la Marieke.
