Hallo allemaal,

Zoals de volgers die me al langere tijd volgen weten, ben ik begonnen met bloggen door het maken van de "scrap" kaarten. En gedurende mijn hobby is mijn stijl iet wat veranderd... Maar soms maak ik ook nog wel eens de scrapkaarten en dan met name op bestelling. As the most of my longtime followers know i started out my blog showcasing my "scrap" cards and along the way my style changed just a bit... Sometimes i still like to make a card like this and especially for a commision. 

Ik begon met de basis dat is een kaart cardstock basis die ik dubbelvouwde en daarop de mal overtrok, net iets over het randje zodat hij aan de bovenzijde vast zit. Knipte een maatje kleiner uit wit en nog een maatje kleiner uit het Maja Design papier. My base is a kraft cardbase wich i folded and traced the outer size of the shape overlapping the fold a bit so it would be stuck on the topside of the card. A seize smaller i cut the shape out of white cardstock and another seize smaller out of pattern paper by Maja design.

Sneed een vierkant en een rechthoek uit het Maja Design papier ne bewerkte alles met Walnut Stain Distress inkt. Stempelde de teksten op wit cardstock en stanste ze uit. Maakte de vlaggenlijn compleet met twine en de andere tekst ging nog op een laagje kraft papier. Out of the pattern paper i cut a square and a rectangle and added some Walnut Stain to all the layers of paper. Stamped the sentiment on to white cardstock and cut it using dies. Added some twine to the flags and a layer of kraft cardstock to the other sentiment.

Stempelde de afbeelding, kleurde hem in en stanste het uit. Plakte het op een Kraft basis en bewerkte beide met Walnut Stain Distress inkt. Voegde aan beide zijde wat bloemen toe, de tekst ging in een pin en op de sluier ging nog een laagje wink of stella. Stamped the image, colored it up and cut it using a die. Added it on a layer of kraft cardstock and added some Walnut Stain to both. Added some flowers to both sides, added the sentiment on pin and a layer of wink of Stella to the vale.

Krafty Peeks day 1: O Holy Night.

Hello All / Hallo allemaal, 

Welcome to Day One of our September Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Today we are sharing a set called O Holy Night! by artist Neda Sedradin. It's a fun and versatile set! Hallo allemaal bij dag één van de release week van Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. Vandaag laten we een stempel zien van artiest Neda Sedradin genaamd O Holy Night! Een Bijbelse set om heerlijke klassieke kaarten mee te maken.

The set contains seven images and comes with four matching sentiments.

De set bestaat uit zeven afbeeldingen en vier bijpassende teksten.

I used the Out of the box Die-Namics to make my pop up box card. I cut the outsides using Kraft cardstock and inked it up using Walnut Stain Distress ink. Cut the inside of the die using a wood print designpaper and inked it up aswell. Ik gebruikte de Out of the Box Die-Namics voor mijn pop up box kaart. Ik stanste de buitenzijde uit kraft papier en de binnenzijde uit een hout structuur paperpad van Noor! Design. Inkte alles op met Walnut stain Distress inkt.

Out of Pineapple cardstock i cut the grass border and inked them up also. Added it to the box when i was ready with my images. Stamped the sentiment and cut it using a banner die. Uit Pineapple cardstock stanste ik het gras en beinkte dit ook met Walnuts Stain. Plakte het in de box en een strip aan de voorzijde. Stempelde de tekst op wit cardstock en stanste het uit.

Stamped all the images, colored them in using my Copic markers and cut them using my scan & cut. Added the images to the box card, Joseph is added using some acetate. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met Copic markers en sneed ze uit met mijn Scan & Cut. Bevestigde alles in de box, Jozef bevestigde ik met acetate.

Guest designer Create a Smile Challenge

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag een post voor jullie als gastdesigner bij Create s Smile Challenge. Twee weken geleden werd mijn kaart uitgekozen als winnaar en aansluitend daarop mocht ik gastdesigner zijn. Two weeks ago my card was picked as a winner and there for i was asked to be a guest designer.

Vandaag start er een sketch challenge op het blog, natuurlijk helemaal in mijn straatje. Ik maakte deze leuke kaart met mijn nieuwe stempel Clear Beast Feast. Today starts a new sketch challenge and that is totally in my ally. I made this card using my new stamp Clear Beast Feast

Ik maskeerde de onderkant en bracht wat Salty Ocean Distress inkt aan. Stempelde het monster onderin en stempelde hetzelfde monster nogmaals op Copic papier. Kleurde hem in en knipte hem uit om hem precies op de goede plek terug te plaatsen. Masked the bottom and used Salty Ocean distress ink to make the background. Stamped the monster on to it and stamped it again on Copic paper. Colored him up and cut him out and glued him on the right spot.

Stanste de tekst wolk en stempelde er het sentiment op haalde er een hap uit. Stempelde het monster en kleurde hem in. Knipte hem precies op de rand uit en haalde de zuurstok weg zodat hij lekker kan knabbelen aan de tekstwolk. Voegde wat enamel dots toe en gaf de ogen en lampjes een laagje glossy accent. Die cut the speech bubble and stamped the sentiment on to it and cut a piece out of the speech bubble. Stamped the monster and colored it up. Cut it out and remove the candy cane so he could eat the speech bubble. I added some enamel dots and glossy accent.

Krafty Peek day 3: My Gnomies + a challenge

Hello all,

Welcome to day three of the July Krafty peeks by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. It's the last day because of tonight all the goodies will be available in store. Today we have a really versatile set by artist Melisa! 

The set is a really fun a cut set with different types of gnomes and offcourse a couple of matching sentiments.

For my card i used a topfold card wich i covered using some designpaper. Die cut the frame five times and glued them on top of each other so i would create some depth.

For my card i used the new color ink to make a background. Added some bird with a fine liner and added some clouds wich i also gave a bit of orange color. 

Die cut some grass out of green cardstock and added some Charming Chartreuse ink to it. Die cut the mushroom twice out of Copic paper and colored them up using my Copic markers. Gave the mushroom some extra with  some liquid applicator.

Stamped the sentiment and the images using Wicked black and colored them in using my Copic markers. Fussy cut the images and place them inside the frame.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Hallo allemaal,

Ok eerlijk is eerlijk ik vindt het heerlijk om weer thuis te zijn en mijn creativiteit kwijt te kunnen. Dat gaat nog wat worden wanneer we in de zomer voor 16 dagen naar Amerika gaan... Maar goed dat zien we dan wel weer. Gisterenavond maakte ik nog een kaart voor de sketch challenge van Dutch Doobadoo. Ik ging weer even helemaal terug naar een aantal jaar geleden en maakte een vintage kaart.

De basis knipte ik uit kraft papier, daarna nam ik de mal nog twee maal over één keer uit designpapier en één keer uit wit cardstock. Uit hetzelfde designpapier sneed ik nog een vierkant en bewerkte alles met distress inkt. 

Stanste de cirkel uit wit papier daarna nam ik de binnenkant van de cirkel stans over met potlood op de afbeelding en knipte deze uit en bewerkte allebei met distress inkt.

Uit kraft papier stanste ik verschillende bloemblaadjes en uit wit cardstock een sneeuwster. Maakte mijn strikken met twine, bevestigde daar een charm aan en werkte het af met een bloem.

Met verschillende bloemen maakte ik een bloemen toef en stak hier en daar wat van de bloemblaadjes er tussen.

Stempelde de tekst op wit cardstock en stanste het uit met de bijpassende banner. Bewerkte de bloemen en het kraft papier met witte geso en als laatste voegde ik wat gems toe.

Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge - Boys / Men.

For my card this week i grabbed some Krafty inks and made some hexagon's with it. I put the ink on some paper, die cut it using a hexagon die and put them with 3-d tape on a white piece of cardstock, wich i splattered with some brown ink mixed with water.

Die cut the word happy in two different colors and moved it slightly on to each other so the white word would pop. Heat embost the small sentiment and die cut it with a small banner.

Colored the bees as shown on this Youtube video and fussy cut the out. Glued everything on a piece of turquoise cardstock.

Kraftin' Kimmie - color along

Hallo allemaal,

Normaal ga ik altijd live wanneer ik voor Kraftin' Kimmie een Colour along doe maar deze keer maakte ik er een You tube filmpje van. Echter tijdens het monteren van de video kwam ik er achter dat ik een heel stuk miste! Dus ik wederom de rest ingekleurd en het filmpje aan elkaar gedemonteerd.

Voor de Colour along gebruikte ik de stempel Cool Critters.

Met de ingekleurde afbeelding maakte ik meteen een kaartje. Ik wilde nog graag mee doen met de challenge van Dutch Doobadoo en zo combineerde ik het meteen met de Tiets kerstchallenge.

Gebruikte materialen: Cool Critters, Wicked Black hybride ink, Die-Namics stitched snow drifts, Mountain high Die-namics, Noor Design! stans, Maja Design paper, twine, Marianne Design gem, Dutch Doobadoo card art  470.713.330

De mal nam ik op kraft papier over en daarna nog twee keer één keer uit wit cardstock en één keer uit Maja Design papier. Ik plakte het op elkaar en bewerkte het kraft met witte Geso.

Van wit cardstock stanste ik het sneeuw en verdeelde het over de drie gedeeltes. Stanste de bomen uit kraft papier en designpapier en maakte de bomen compleet. Stanste de bergen uit kraft en bewerkte dit ook met witte geso. Plakte dit alles op de kaart met 3-d tape.

Aan de achterzijde maakte ik een pocket. Daar maakte ik een tag in om de sketch te volgen. Aan de bovenzijde maakte ik een pulltab en maakte daar wat twine op met een sneeuwvlok knoop.

Added een sentiment aan de binnenzijde van de tab en wat sneeuwvlokken aan de voorzijde.

Krafty Peek day 3: Mr & Mrs Claus

Hello everyone! 

Today is day three of the September release of Kraftin' Kimmie stamps and today we are showcasing a set by artist Emilie Goulet called Mr & Mrs Claus.

This fun set features two main images of the sweet Christmas couple and four fun sentiments!!! Aren't they cute?

Used products; Dutch Doobadoo card art (470.713.673), Noor Design Dies, Echo park papers, Twine, Flowers, Pin, snowflake embellishment, enamel dot.

Stamped misses Claus on some Copic Paper and colored her in using Copic Markers. Then i fussy cut her and placed her on a die by Noor Design using 3-d tape.

Stamped the sentiment distressed it a bit and placed it in a pin. Fished the pin of using some twine a snowflake embellishment and a enamel dot.

Took over the card art on some kraft paper and cut and folded it. With the Echo park papers i did the same and glued it onto the kraft. I ended up making flower arrangement on both sides of the cards using i'm roses flowers and a die by Noor Design.

Krafty Peek day 2: Mr & Mrs Claus and A Chat with Santa

Hello everybody!

Welcome back to Day TWO of our September Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! We've got not one but TWO more holiday stamp sets to share with you and they are both SO CUTE!

First up is an adorable set from artist Cheryl Grant called......A CHAT WITH SANTA!

This 4x4 stamp set features a very large image with the man in red and two kiddos plus a furry friend! It also comes with four fun sentiments!

Used products: Dutch Doobadoo shape art mal (470.713.143), Joy crafts stempel, Noor Design die, Maja design papers, pin, cheesecloth, pearls and lace.

Well for the card i used a shape art to make the base of the card, i then made some more designpapers to fit the card. I stamped the wish list image and heat embost it with white embossing powder, i cut it by hand.

Die cut the star border and gave it some details with a white gelpen. On the left hand side i arranged some flowers and in the middle i have some cheesecloth, some lace were i attached some pearls onto.

I stamped the image using Wicked Black and colored it using my Copic Markers, i then fussy cut it out and adhered it to the card. I lastly stamped the sentiment and added it to the flower arrangement using a pin.

Hallo allemaal / Hello everybody!

Today it's Saturday which means a new challenge started over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog, today the theme is Ladies/woman or girls! A really easy theme if you ask me!, so pull out your Feminine stuff and play along!

Used Products; Friends to the finish stamp, Dutch Doobadoo shape art mal (470.713.143). Dutch Doobadoo Stencil art numbers (470.455.003), Maja Design papers, Twine, Pin, Noor Design / Marianne Design  and Craft emotions dies, Doily, i'm roses flowers. 

I glued the background paper on a piece of cardstock and then cut the shape using the shape art mal. I made another square with white cardstock and some designpaper. I placed a doily behind it. I die cut a designpaper using a circle die and i cut one myself because i did not have the right size. I then took over the numbers on white cardstock and designpaper and distressed everything using walnut stain distress ink.

With twine and dies i made the flags, "60" and the name Joke. Glued it on the card. Stamped and die cut the sentiment and pinned this in the pin. I put some flowers there to finish the card.

I stamped the image on designpaper as well on some Neenah papers. Paperpieced the jacket and colored in the rest using Copic Markers. I ended up fussy cutting the image and adhered her on to the card.

I used our sketch from this month. The bases is top fold kraft card. I cut some papers form Maja design and glued them on to white cardstock. Then in the middel i did some twine to match the sketch from this month. I die cut and emboss the dies and gave them a better look using some distress ink.

I colored up the mermaid and made the scene around here myself using my Copic marker. Ik cut here in a rectangle and glued it onto a piece of white cardstock. I finished it of with a sentiment which is included in with the stamp.

It's a double card and i cut out the shape using the Card art mal. I took over the lines one more time and cut it out of designpaper. I took the inside of the shape as well and used it on a different design paper.I made holes in the shape to give them some ends so the card can be closed.

I stamped the image and colored it in with Copic Markers. Then i fussy cut it out and glued it onto the base. Ik die cut some dies and to finish it of i added some flowers.

Krafty Peeks day 2: Magical Friends

Hallo Everybody,

Welcome to Day Two of our May Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

You *may* have seen this stamp set recently....because it was also part of one of our Krafty Kard Kits in combination with our brand new Krafty Kolours Hybrid Inks!

It's Magical Friends!

This sweet springy stamp set is by artist Cheryl Grant!
It has four large image stamps including fairies, their little furry friends and a cute little fairy house!
The set also include five *fairy* special sentiments!

Used Products: Authentic design papers, Noor! Design, Marianne Design dies. Dutch Doobadoo Shape art (470.713.143), pearl string, gold paper, I'm roses flowers, Tule ribbon.

Onto design paper and white paper i drawn the shape art and cut it out with my scissors. From the same paperpad i cut a piece of design paper size 11 x 11. From kraft paper i die cut the circle frame and the frame on the top. From design paper, kraft and white cardstock i die cut the tutu and glued it together. On the design paper and kraft i smooched some white geso to break the hardness a bit.

I stamped the girl and colored her up with my Copic Markers. I die cut her with a circle die and glued her on top of the circle frame. And glued it on the base card. I die cut the crown from gold paper and attached it. I heat embossed the text and cut it out . I made my flower arrangement and made some leaves out of kraft cardstock.
