Hoera een kleindochter

 Hallo allemaal,

Naast de kaart van zondag vroeg de zus van mijn collega of ik ook een kaart kon maken voor haar ouders. De enige opdracht die ik mee kreeg was om er een tractor op te verwerken. Nou had ik toch net de tractor van Lawn Fawn gekocht kon ik deze meteen gebruiken. Beside the card that I showed you on sunday, my colleague's sister also asked me to create a card for there parents. The only restriction I had was to use a tractor, I both the new set by Lawn Fawn a few weeks back that was not a problem!

De basis is een witte topfold kaart beinkte de bovenzijde met Tumbled Glass en Salty Ocean met een wolken stencil. Stanste de hekwerken en beide grasvelden. Voordat ik ze stanste beinkte ik het met Mowed Lawn en Twisted Citron en bespetterde het met water. Sneed een strook kraft en bewerkte dit met Vintage Photo. plakte daarna de scene op de kaart.

The base of the card is a white card. Inked up the top using Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean using a cloud stencil. Die cut the fences and both grass pieces. Before die cutting I inked up some Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron. Cut a strip of kraft cardstock added some Vintage Photo and assembled the scene.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen en onderdelen, kleurde ze met mijn Copic markers en knipte alles uit. Bestempelde de rompers met de tekst opa en oma en plakte daarna alle onderdelen op de kaart.

Stamped all the images and elements, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them. Stamped the sentiments on to the onesies and adhered all the elements on to the card.

Stanste de outline uit Cotton Candy beinkte dit met Picked Raspberry. Stanste "hoera" uit wit cardstock en beinkte dit met Spun Sugar. Plakte ze op elkaar en stempelde de andere tekst met Cotton Candy, stanste het tot een banner en plakte beide op de kaart. Out of Cotton Candy I cut the outline and inked it up using Picked Raspberry. Die cut "Hoera" out of white cardstock and inked it up using Spun Sugar. Adhered them together and stamped the other sentiments on some white cardstock using Cotton Candy ink. Die cut it using a die and adhered them on the card.

Welkom, Nikki

Hallo allemaal,

Mijn collega is vorige week bevallen van een gezonde dochter Nikki. Haar zus vroeg mij een kaart te maken voor deze heugelijk gebeurtenis en de enige opdracht die ik kreeg was om er een jungle thema aan te geven. My colleague gave birth to a healty baby girl Nikki. Her sister asked me to create a card for her, with the only the only "restriction" to make it a jungle theme.

Om de kaart specialer te maken maakte ik er een interactieve kaart van met de Magic Iris stans van Lawn Fawn. Ik beinkte een rechthoek met Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn en Rustic Wilderness. Spetterde water en Rustic Wilderness en stanste het uit met de Magic Iris Add-on. 

To make the card even more special I decided to create a interactive card using the Magic Iris die by Lawn Fawn. I inked up a rectangle using Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness. Splattered some water and Rustic Wilderness and cut it using the Magic Iris Add-on.

Stanste alle onderdelen voor de Magic Iris en beinkte zo nodig met Twisted Citron, bespetterde met water en Rustic Wilderness en plakte het mechanisme in elkaar. Plakte het mechanisme achter de rechthoek. Het geheel ging op een iets grotere kraft rechthoek en daarna op een witte basiskaart.

Die cut all the elements of the Magic Iris inked up the parts that are needed for the iris itself with Twisted Citron. Splattered some water and Rustic Wilderness on to them and assembled the mechanisme. Adhered the mechanimse behind the addon. Glued the mechanisme on a slightly larger kraft rectangle and then on a topfold white cardbase.

Met mijn printer printte ik de naam en geboortedatum, voordat ik het printte heb ik het papier al beinkte en bespetterd met Twisted Citron, water en Rustic Wilderness. Stanste het geheel uit en plakte de cirkel achter de Magic Iris.

Using my printer I print out the name and date of birth, but before doing so I inked up and splattered the paper using Twisted Citron, water and Rustic Wilderness. Die cut the print spot out of the paper and glued it behind the Magic Iris.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en knipte of stanste ze uit. Plakte alles op elkaar en op de kaart. Bewerkte de baby onderdelen en de kroon met gouden glitters en heat emboste de tekst op het uithangbord. Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and die cut or fussy cut them. Glued all the elements on the card, before doing so I heat set the sentiment on the sign and added some golden glitter to the baby elements.

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag een kaart die ik maakte op bestelling. Mijn collega haar zus is getrouwd en vroeg mij of ik twee kaarten wilde maken. Eén voor hen zelf en één namens de kinderen van haar zus. Vandaag laat ik de kaart zien die ik voor hen maakte. Morgen is de andere kaart te zien! Today I show you a card that I made on commision. My colleague her sister is married and she asked me to create two cards. One for themselfs and one for the childeren of the happy couple. Today I will show you the card I made for them, tommorow I will show you the other one.

Het is een grote dubbele kaart geworden, 14 x 18,5. Sneed een gele rechthoek 13,5 x 18 en een rechthoek van aquarel papier van 13 x 17,5. Inktblende dit met Scattered Straw, Cracked Pistashio en Peacock Feathers. Stanste de Magic Iris Add-on en beinkte dit met Scattered Straw en Cracked Pistashio. Bespetterde beide met water en witte verf.

It's a large card 14 x 18,5. Cut a yellow rectangle 13,5 x 18 and a watercolor rectangle 13 x 17,5. Inkblended it using Scattered Straw, Cracked Pistashio and Peacock Feathers. Die cut the Magic Iris Add-on and inked it up using Scattered Straw and Cracked Pistashio. Splattered water and white paint.

Stanste twee verschillende gras borders en beinkte dit met Mowed Lawn en Rustic Wilderness. Met Ground Espresso en Vintage Photo maakte ik het zand en stanste dit uit. Plakte het tijdelijk op elkaar en knipte de cirkel en het slider gedeelte af. Die cut two different borders of grass inked them up using Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness. Using Ground Espresso and Vintage Photo I made the sand, die cut the border. Temporarly added it to the Magic Iris Add-on and cut the pull tape and circle out of it.

Stanste een stuk Kraft cardstock met de Stitched Woodgrain Background, stanste het daarna met de Magic Iris Birdhouse. In plaats van een vogelhuis was het mijn opzet om een bijenkorf te maken. Sneed het daarom in stroken en beinkte het met Walnut Stain Distress inkt. Plakte het weer in elkaar, en stanste het dak en het huis nogmaals uit kraft cardstock. Sneed de onderkant van het huis, beinkte het dak en de onkerkant en plakte het op het huis. Die cut a piece of Kraft cardstock using the Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop, die cut it afterwards using the Magic Iris Birdhouse. Instead of making it a birdhouse my intention was to create a beehive. So I cut the house in strips and inked it up using Walnut Stain. Die cut the rough and the house again out of Kraft. Trimmed the bottom piece and inked both up before glueing them together. 

Stempelde of heat emboste de teksten. Stanste ze uit met de Itty Bitty Strips Die-Namics. Stanste het woord "bij" uit geel cardstock. Beinkte een stuk cardstock met Squeezed Lemonade en Wild Honey en printe daarna de namen en de datum. Stanste het uit met de cirkel stans en stempelde de ringen.

Stamped and heat set the sentiments, die cut them using the Itty Bitty Strips Die-Namics. Die cut the word "bee" out of yellow cardstock. Inked up a piece of watercolor paper using Squeezed Lemonade and Wild Honey, print the names and date on to it and die cut it using the circle die. Stamped the rings on the circle.

Stempelde of stanste alle onderdelen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste of knipte ze uit. Maakte het Magic Iris mechanisme en plakte het op de voorzijde. Plakte daarna alle onderdelen op de kaart. Stamped or cut all the elements, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching dies or my scicors. Assembled the Magic Iris mechanisme and adhered it to the front of the card. Adhered all the elements last.

Studio Light - Toadally my Valentine

 Hallo Allemaal,

Hier is mijn wekelijkse post voor Studio Light weer. Deze keer maakte ik met de aankomende nieuwe Sweet Stories producten een valentijn shaker kaart. I'm back with my weekly post for Studio Light. This time around I decided on making a slimline shaker card with the upcomming new Sweet Stories products.

Inktblende een rechthoek met Salty Ocean en Bleuprint Sketch Distress Oxide inkt. Spetterde water en stanste het uit met de slimline stans. Plakte acetate achter de geinkte achtergrond, vulde de shaker en plakte hem dicht.

Inktblended a rectangle using Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink. Splattered some water and cut it using the slimline dies. Adhered actetate on the back off the inked background and closed the shaker.

Plakte het geheel op een sidefold basiskaart. Heat emboste de teksten op roze cardstock en stanste en knipte ze uit.

Adhered the shaker element on a side fold Smooth White basecard. Heat set the sentiments on some pink cardstock and cut it by hand or with a die.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende stansen. Plakte alles op de kaart met lijm of foamtape. Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and die cut them using the matching dies. Glued everything onto the card using glue or foamtape.

Studio Light - Happy Birthday

Hallo Allemaal,

Hier is mijn wekelijkse post voor Studio Light weer. Deze keer maakte ik met de verschillende Sweet Stories sets een verjaardag shaker kaart. I'm back with my weekly post for Studio Light. This time around I decided on making a birthday shaker card using a few different Sweet Stories sets together.

Als eerste inktblende ik de achtergrond, ik gebruikte Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers en Black Soot Distress Oxide inkt. Spetterde water en witte verf en sneed het tot een rechthoek. Stanste de border stans uit het geheel. Sneed een witte rechthoek en plakte hier het uitgestanste gedeelte op. Plakte acetate achter de geinkte achtergrond,vulde de shaker en plakte het geheel dicht en op een zwarte topfold basiskaart.

First off I inkblended the background, using Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers and Black Soot Distress Oxide ink. Splattered some water and white paint and cut it to a rectangle. Die cut the outline border die out of the middle. Traced it on to a white rectangle and adhered the die cut on to it. Adhered some acetate behind the inkblended panel, filled the shaker and closed it. Adhered it on to a topfold black base card.

Stanste de Happy Birthday stans uit zwart cardstock en plakte dit op de kaart. Stanste een rand gras uit groen cardstock en inktblende dit met zwarte inkt. Stempelde de vleermuis op de kaart. Stempelde de tekst op wit cardstock en stanste het tot een banner.

Die cut the Happy Birthday die out of Black Cardstock and adhered it onto the card. Die cut the grass out of green cardstock, inkblended some black ink and adhered it. Stamped the bat directly onto the card. Stamped the sentiment on some white cardstock and cut it into a banner.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende stansen. Plakte alles op de kaart en bewerkte hier en daar de stempels met een witte gelpen. Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and die cut them using the matching dies. Glued all the images on the card and added a few white gelpen lines on some of the stamps.

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag een geboorte kaart die ik maakte op bestelling. Nu was de opdracht best lastig, doordat de ouders zelf erg van de naturel kleuren zijn en zo ook het geboortekaartje en het babykamertje eruit zag. Hierop heb ik dus uiteindelijk mijn kaart geinspireerd. Today I want to show you a card that I made for a order. The order was quite a challenge, because the parents love natural colors. The birth card was in that style just like the nursery. So that's what inpspired me to create this card.

Sneed een witte achtergrond en inktblende Naturel en Kraft MFT inkt. Spetterde Kraft en gouden verf spetters. Stanste de afbeeldingen en kleurde deze in naturel tinten in. 

Cut a white background and inkblended Naturel and Kraft MFT inkt. Splattered some Kraft and golden ink / paint. Stamped the images and colored them up using naturel tones.

Stanste of knipte de afbeeldingen uit en plakte ze op de kaart met foam tape. Stanste de naam uit goud cardstock en de geboortedatum uit bruin cardstock en plakte beide op de kaart.

Die cut or cut the image by hand and adhered them onto the card using foam tape. Die cut the name out of gold cardstock and the date of birth out of brown cardstock and adhered both onto the card.

Het geheel ging op een witte topfold basiskaart met foamtape. Adhered the whole panel onto a topfold Smooth White base card using foam tape.

Sunny Studio - Thanks Mendi

 Hello all,

I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a card that I made using the Fabulous Flamingo's as a thank you card for Mendi. Sadly how hard I keep trying I just simply lack the time to be on a lot of Designteams so I have decided to step down for the Sunny Studio Designteam. Daar ben ik weer met mijn wekelijkse post voor Sunny Studio Stamps. Vandaag hoop ik jullie te inspireren met een kaart die ik maakte met de Fabulous Flamingo's stempel. Ik maakte een thank you kaart voor Mendi, de eigenaar van Sunny Studio. Doordat mijn crafty tijd niet mee groeit met mijn Crafty Stash heb ik helaas moeten besluiten om te stoppen bij het designteam van Sunny Studio's

So I decided to use the Fabulous Flamingos for my thank you card, I wanted to create a summery background. I inkblended Cracked Pistashio, Peacock Feathers, Dried Marigold, Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry on to a piece of cardstock and I die cut it. Splattered some water and adhered it onto a slightly larger with rectangle.

Voor mijn thank you kaart gebruikte ik de Fabulous Flamingos, daarom maakte ik een zomerse achtergrond. Inktblende Cracked Pistashio, Peacock Feathers, Dried Marigold, Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry op een stuk wit cardstock. Spetterde er water op en stanste het daarna uit. Plakte het geheel op een iets grotere witte rechthoek.

Out of white cardstock I cut the word Thanks using the Thank You Word Dies four times and glued them together. Die cut the name Mendi and adhered both in the middle of the card. Heat set the other sentiments that are in the Fabulous Flamingo set on pink cardstock. Die cut the small sentiment and cut the other one using my scissors.

Uit wit cardstock stanste ik het woord Thanks vier keer met de Thank You Word Die en plakte ze op elkaar. Stanste de naam Mendi uit wit cardstock en plakte deze in het midden van de kaart. Heat emboste de teksten uit de Fabulous Flamingos set op roze cardstock. Stanste de kleine tekst en knipte de andere uit met mijn schaar.

Stamped the images out of the Fabulous Flamingos and Tropical Scenes stamps. Colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the Fabulous Flamingos and Tropical Scenes Dies.

Stempelde de afbeeldingen uit de Fabulous Flamingos en Tropical Scenes stempel. Kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de Fabulous Flamingos en Tropical Scenes stansen.

Adhered the background on to a pink topfold basecard and added all the images using different heights of foam tape. Plakte de achtergrond op een roze topfold basiskaart en plakte alle afbeeldingen op de kaart met verschillende hoogte foam tape.

Green - YG67, YG63, YG03, YG01

Brown - E47, E44, E43, E42

Sunny Studio - Watering Can

 Hello all,

I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a with a underwater scene wich I created using the watering can stamp. Daar ben ik weer met mijn wekelijkse post voor Sunny Studio Stamps. Vandaag hoop ik jullie te inspireren met een onderwater kaart die ik maakte met de Watering Can stempel.

As always I made the background first. I inkblended the colors Cracked Pistashio, Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon and adhered the panel onto a white topfold base card.

Zoals vaak maakte ik eerst de achtergond. Ik inktblende de kleuren Cracked Pistashio, Peacock Feathers en Mermaid Lagoon en plakte het geheel op een witte topfold basiskaart.

Die cut the watering can using the dies and colored it up using my Copic markers. Then I stamped the inner second layering stamp out of the Watering Can stamp using a black ink. Heat set the sentiment that comes in the set using white embossingpowder.

Stanste de gieter met de Watering Can stans en kleurde hem in met mijn Copic markers. Stanste daarna de tweede laag van de Watering Can stempel met zwarte inkt. Heat emboste de tekst uit dezelfde stempel met wit embossingpoeder op de gieter.

Stamped the images out of Fintastic Friends and Tropical Scenes stamps. Colored them up using my Copic markers and die cut them using the Tropical Scenes and Fintastic Friends dies.

Stempelde de afbeeldingen uit de Fintastic Friends en Tropical Scenes stempels. Kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze met de bijpassende Tropical Scenes en Fintastic Friends stansen.

Adhered all the images onto the card using foamtape or glue and finished the card of adding some clear drops. Plakte alle afbeeldingen op de kaart met foamtape of lijm en werkte het geheel af met wat transparante druppels.
