My Favorite Things May Release Countdown Day 3

Today we are showcasing the newest set by artist Stacey Yacula called Peaceful Birds. Beside the new stampset we are also showcasing another hot foil die, the Hot Foil Octagon Frames Die-Namics

Vandaag laten we de nieuwste set van artiest Stacey Yacula zien genaamd Peaceful Birds. Naast de nieuwe stempel introduceren we ook een andere hot foil stans, namelijk de Hot Foil Octagon Frames Die-Namics.

For my card I cut a Kraft basecard, on a piece of Smooth White cardstock I hotfoiled the Hot Foil Octagon Frames Die-Namics using gold foil. Heat set the sentiment out of the Deepest Sympathy stamp on the white rectangle and adhered it on the base card.

Voor mijn kaart sneed ik een kraft basiskaart, op een stuk Smooth white cardstock hot foiled ik de Hot Foil Octagon Frames Die-Namics met gouden foil. Heat emboste de tekst uit de Deepest Sympathy stempel op de witte rechthoek en plakte het op de basiskaart.

Stamped the images using a light ink on some watercolor paper and colored them up using my zig markers. Die cut the images using the Peacuful Birds Die-Namics and adhered them on to the card. Finished the card of by adding some gold sequins. Stempelde de afbeeldingen met een lichte inkt op aquarel papier en kleurde zin met mijn Zig markers. Stanste de afbeeldingen uit met de Peaceful Birds Die-Namics en plakte ze op de kaart. Werkte de kaart af met verschillende gouden sequins.

My Favorite Things May Release Countdown Day 5

Hello all,

It’s time for the My FavoriteThings May release countdown! During the countdown, the MFT Design Team is sharing lots of projects featuring all of the new products. The new release will officially be available on May3th at 10:00 am EST (= Europe: May 3th at 4:00 pm CET). Het is tijd voor de My Favorite Things spril release countdown! Nog 5 dagen en dan is de nieuwe release verkrijgbaar. Tijdens de countdown, laat het MFT Design Team verschillende projecten zien met alle nieuwe producten. De release zal verkrijgbaar zijn op 3 mei om 10:00 am EST (in Nederland op 3 mei om 16:00).

Today we are kicking of with another fun set by Birdie Brown, a beautiful Floral set, a stencil and improved alphabet die.

Vandaag starten we met de nieuwste set van Birdie Brown, een mooie bloemen set, een stencil en een verbeterde alfabet stans.

Not sure what it is but when i see a floral stamp i always like to watercolor them. I don't know why but that just happens... So stamped the image using Antique Linen Distress ink onto some water color paper and colored it in using my Zigg markers. Ik weet niet wat dat is met bloemen stempels, maar zodra ik er een zie wil ik hem inkleuren met waterverf. Stempelde daarom de afbeelding op aquarel papier met Antique Linen Distress inkt en kleurde hem in met mijn Zigg markers.

The paper was in the right seize already so i die cut the word "Mom" out of the colored panel using the In Stitches Alphabet Die-Namics. Die cut the word another three times out of Gravel Gray and glued them together. Had het papier al op de juiste maat gesneden dus stanste het woord "mom" uit het ingekleurde paneel met de In Stitches Alphabet Die-Namics. Stanste het woord nog drie keer uit Gravel Gray en plakte ze op elkaar.

Heat embost the sentiment on some Gravel Gray cardstock and cut it using the Sentiment Strip Die-Namics. Added evrything to a Kraft topfold base card and finished of the card using some clear sequins. Heat emboste de tekst op Gravel Gray cardstock en stanste het uit met de Sentiment Strips Die-Namics. Plakte alles op een tofold Kraft basis kaart en werkte het geheel af met wat clear sequins.

My Favorite Things December Release Countdown Day 1

Hello all,

Today is the last day of the December release countdown of My Favorite Things and you know what that means right? Tommorow all the new products will be avaible! Did you decided on what you are going to get? Luckly you have one more night to think about it! Vandaag is de laatste dag van de december release countdown van My Favorite Things en je weet wat dat betekend! Morgen zullen alle nieuwe producten beschikbaar zijn. Heb je al besloten wat je zou willen hebben? Gelukkig kun je er nog een dag over nadenken!

For today's card i combined the Let's Curl Up together with the English Brick Wall background stamp and the Sending you Hugs Die-Namics into a naturel tone card.

Voor de kaart van vandaag combineerde ik verschillende nieuwe producten, de Let's Curl, English Brick Wall Achtergrond stempel en de Sending You Hugs Die-Namics en maakte er een naturel kaart van.

First i made the background by heat embossing the English brick wall background on some watercolor paper. Added some Gathered Twigs Distress ink on to it for some color. Die cut the panel using a stitched Rectangle die and added it to a Jellybean Green basecard. Als eerste maakte ik de achtergrond op aquarel paper. Heat emboste deze en bewerkte het daarna met Gathered Twigs Distress inkt wat kleur aangebracht. Stanste het met een stitched Rectangle staxx Die-Namics en plakte het geheel op een topfold Jellybean Green basiskaart. 

Die cut the letters using the Sending Hugs Die-namics and added some details using a white gelpen. Added them to the base and finished of using some clear enamel dots. Stanste de tekst uit met Jellybean Green en voegde wat witte details toe. Plakte deze op de kaart en voegde wat clear sequins toe.

Stamped the images, colored them in using my Zigg markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Added them to the base of the card using different heights of foamtape. Stempelde de afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Zigg Markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Plakte ze op de kaart met verschillende hoogtes foamtape.

MFT & Friends - November Product Launch

 Hello all,

It’s time for the My Favorite Things November product launch! All new products are available right now! The MFT design team, as well as special guests, are sharing projects created with the new stuff. You can find a lot of inspiration! Het is tijd voor de My Favorite Things november product lancering. Alle nieuwe producten zijn vanaf nu verkrijgbaar! Het MFT design team en gasten delen ook vandaag weer een lading aan inspiratie!

For today's project i decided to dust of my zig markers and watercolor the Winter Wreath. I kept the card clean and simple so the focus would be on the wreath.

Voor mijn kaart van vandaag besloot ik mijn Zig markers weer eens af te stoffen en ik kleurde daarmee de Winter Wreath in. Ik hield de kaart verder rustig zodat de focus op de wreath ligt.

So the base is a topfold Natural 11,5 x 11,5 square card, out of Smooth White i cut a square 10,5 x 10,5 and splattered some paint spatters using the matching Zig colors. Heat embost the sentiment on the base card. Glued the small sentiment on Natural cardstock and cut it into a small strip. De basiskaart is een 11,5 x 11,5 vierkante topfold Natural kaart. Uit Smooth White cardstock sneed ik een vierkant 10,5 x 10,5 en spetterde er verschillende kleuren verf spetters op met de matchende kleuren van de Zigs. Heat emboste de tekst op de basis en nogmaals een kleine tekst op Natural cardstock, sneed deze tot een kleine strip.

Stamped the Wreath, colored it up using my Zig markers and cut it using the matching Die-Namics. Die cut the die three more times out of Smooth White and added it together. Finished of the card using different seizes of clear sequins. Stempelde de wreath, kleurde het in met mijn Zig markers en stanste het uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Stanste nogmaals drie keer de vorm uit Smooth White en plakte alles op elkaar. Werkte de kaart af met verschillende maten clear sequins.

 Today i went a bit outside my box and left my Copic markers a side while coloring using the new Happy Hummingbird stamp and matching Die-Namics. I decided to play with my Zig markers combined with my Faber Castell Pencils.

Vandaag ging ik wat uit mijn comfortzone en liet mijn Copic markers links liggen. Voor mijn kaart met de nieuwe Happy Hummingbird stempel en bijpassende Die-Namics besloot ik mijn Zig markers te gebruiken in combinatie met mijn Faber Castell potloden.

 Stamped the hummingbirds and the flowers from the Floral Focus on some watercolor paper using Cement Grey hybrid ink. First i colored everything up using my Zig markers, afterwards i added some extra detail using my pencils. Die cut everything using my matching Die-Namics. Stempelde de hummingbirds en de bloemen van de Floral Focus op aquarel papier met Cement Grey hybride inkt. Kleurde eerst alles in met mijn Zig markers en bracht daarna wat detail aan met mijn potloden. Stanste alles uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics.

On some smooth white cardstock i added some clouds using a stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. Die cut it using a stichted rectangle die. Added the flowers first and cut of the exces paper. Stamped the sentiment and adhered the panel to a topfold Sno Cone cardbase. Op Smooth White cardstock maakte ik wolken met een stencil en Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inkt. Stanste het geheel met een rechthoekige stans met een stikrandje. Stempelde de tekst en plakte het paneel op een topfold Sno Cone kaart.

Krafty Peeks day 1: Party Time Sentiments

Welcome back to Day One of our March Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Today we are sharing a set called Party Time Sentiment! by artist Melissa. It's a fun and versatile set with alot of sentiments and some small accessories! Hallo allemaal welkom bij dag één van de release week van Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. Vandaag laten we een stempel zien van artiest Melissa genaamd Party Time Sentiments! Een veelzijdige set met verschillende teksten en wat kleine accessoires.

For todays reveal day i made three cards using my Zig markers. First of i take the Krafty Scenery Stencil. Used the cirkels as the base shape for my balloons. Voor de kaarten van vandaag gebruikte ik mijn Zig markers. Ik gebruikte het Krafty Scenery stencil voor de basis vorm van mijn ballonnen.

On every card i decided i wanted a different pattern and colored them in using my Zig markers and pencils. Voor elke kaart gebruikte ik een ander patroon voor de ballonnen. Kleurde ze in met mijn Zig markers, water en penselen. 

On some watercolor paper i blended the darker zigg marker with water and used it to die cut the "Congrats".  Op aquarel papier mengde ik de donkerste Zigg marker met water en stanste daarmee het woord "congrats".

Added the sentiments on two cards using the Stormy Sky Ink on the other i heat embost it using white embossing powder. Op twee kaarten stempelde ik de teksten met Stormy Sky inkt op de andere heat emboste ik het met witte embossingpoeder.

My Favorite Things Superstar Contest 2019 - CAS

Hello all,

So my brain was making over hours the last couple of days, i entered the contest with this card in the Innovation master category. I really wanted to enter all three categories but just did not had the time for it. So here i sad these days in between my sleep and work coloring on this cutie.

I really wanted to challenge myself en decided to go for my Zig markers instead of my Copic Markers. I medium i only used three or four times but i knew that the card i had in mind would look better in watercolors then with alcohol markers. I'm totally happy with my result!

So for my card i stamped the leaves, flowers and the fox on watercolor paper using Cement Grey hybrid ink. Colored in the images using my zig brush markers and my waterbrush. Die cut all the parts using the matching Die-Namics.

To make the wreath i used the (retired) Single stitched circle line Die-Namics as a base and arranged the leaves and flowers on the circle until it was a full wreath. Stamped the sentiment and die cut it with a banner die. 

After the fox was colored with my brush markers i added some pencil to give the fox some extra detail.
