Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge - Christmas in July

Hallo allemaal / Hello everybody!

Today it's Saturday wich means a new challenge started over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog, today the theme is make a card or project with the theme Christmas in July!. You can go every route with this so get your stamps, ink and stencils out and play along. Vandaag is het zaterdag dat betekend dat er een nieuwe challenge begonnen is op het blog van Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. Het thema van deze week is maak een kaart met het thema Kerst in juli. Je kunt er alle kanten mee op dus pak je stempels, inkten en stencils en speel mee!

 So i decided to go out of the box a bit and made a jungle themed Christmas card. I cut a panel and blended in the background. Using a Black chiselnip fineliner i added some Lianas. Out of different colors of green i die cut the trees, bushes and grass. Added some ink for some extra details. Cut the sand out of Kraft paper and added some ink. Ik besloot een bijzondere kaart te maken namelijk een jungle thema kerstkaart. Stanste een paneel en bewerkte dit met Distress inkten. Met een zwarte beitelpunt fineliner bracht ik wat lianen aan. Uit verschillende kleuren groen stanste ik de bomen, struiken en het gras. Bewerkte dit met inkt voor wat detail. Dit deed ik ook voor het zand wat ik uit kraft stanste en sneed.

 Die cut the lamps out of green and yellow cardstock and adhered them together. Added some detail using a white gelpen. Heat embost the sentiment and cut it. Stanste de snoer en de lampen uit groen en geel cardstock en plakte ze op elkaar. Ik voegde wat details toe met een witte gelpen. Heat emboste de tekst en stanste het uit.

Stamped all the images on some Copic Friendly paper, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using my Brother Scan & Cut. Cut some white pieces smaller/or removed it with my sciccors so it would fit better on the animals. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en sneed het uit met mijn Brother Scan & Cut. Van sommige afbeeldingen knipte ik het wit smaller/of verwijderde het met mijn schaar.

June Krafty Skrappin' (anything but a kard!) Challenge.

Hello all / Hallo allemaal,

Today it's the first Tuesday of the month so we challenge you to play with our montly Skrappy Challenge to make Anything BUT a Card!!!For this challenge you can make anything you want to....except a card!  So that means bookmarks, gifts, scrapbook pages, journal art, planner pages, tags, boxes...pretty much anything that includes a krafty stamp!! vandaag is het de eerste dinsdag van de maand en we dagen je uit om mee te doen met onze maandelijkse Skrappy Challenge. Voor de challenge dagen we je uit om iets te maken behalve een kaart. Het mag dus alles zijn boekenleggers, cadeau's, scrapbook pagina's, journals, planner, tags, doosjes, ATC cards.

Just make sure to include a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp and make sure it's a NEW creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing, we'll be giving away a PRIZE!!!  yep!  One lucky krafter will WIN a $20 gift voucher to the krafty shop! Om mee te doen gebruik je een stempel van Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps en het moet iets nieuws zijn. Wanneer er (minimaal) 5 mensen meedoen, kun je kans maken op een giftcard van $20 (CAD) voor de Krafty Shop!

So as you all know by know i like to make ATC cards for the Skrappy Challenge, normally i combine it with a theme that i set by a swap i will be joining but because of the Corona virus it is canceled. So i had to make one up myself. Zoals jullie inmiddels wel weten als je me al langer volgt, ik maak voor de Skrappy challenge eigenlijk bijna altijd een serie ATC kaarten. Nu koppel ik deze meestal aan een thema van een swap maar dat is er nu niet ivm Corona. Dus bedacht ik zelf dit keer het thema.

 So i cut a white panel using my ATC dies and added some Morning Marigold to it. Cut the mountains and the snow and added some black and white spots to the mountains for some interest. Cut some sand out of kraft and added some Walnut Stain Distress ink to it. Met de ATC stans stanste ik een wit paneel en bewerkte dit met Morning Marigold. Stanste de bergen en sneeuw en bewerkte de bergen met witte en zwarte acryl verf. Stanste wat zand uit kraft papier en bewerkte dit met Walnut Stain Distress inkt. 

 Out of Kraft and green cardstock i die cut the palmtrees. Added some details to the trunk using my Copic markers and on the leaves using Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. Stamped all the images using Wicked Black, colored them in using my Copic markers and cut them using my Brother Scan & Cut. Uit kraf en groen cardstock stanste ik de palmbomen. Bewerkte de boom met mijn Copic markers en de bladeren met Mowed Lawn Distress inkt. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en sneed ze uit met mijn Brother Scan & Cut.

Adhered everything on the base card and cut 3 bigger panels using my ATC die. Glued them together and added the sentiment. You see the small changes i made? I think that is a fun detail to it. Plakte alles op het paneel en stanste drie panelen met de ATC stans uit designpapier. Plakte deze op elkaar en stempelde de tekst. Zie je de kleine verschillen in de tekst? Ik vond dat wel een grappig detail.

Krafty Peeks day 4 : Farm-tastic + a challenge

Welcome to day Four of the May Krafty peeks by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. It's the last day because of tomorrow all the goodies will be available in store. Today we have a really versatile set by artist Cheryl Grant called Farm-tastic. Hallo allemaal, welkom bij dag vier van de April release week van Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. Vandaag is de laatste dag want... morgen zijn alle nieuwe producten te koop! Vandaag een set van artiest Cheryl Grant; Farm-tastic.

 This new set contains a two different images of a boy doing what he likes Fishing and helping his dad on the fields The set also contains several matching sentiments it is a great set for any of your card making or craft projects. 

Deze set heeft twee afbeeldingen van een jongen die doet wat hij leuk vind, vissen en zijn vader helpen op het land. Uiteraard zitten er weer verschillende passende teksten bij.

 For my card i decided to go fo a scene, so i cut a top fold white card and masked of the top of the card. Added some blue Distress inks and splattered some water. Masked of the bottom and added some clouds using the Krafty Scenery Stencil. Voor mijn kaart besloot ik voor een scene te gaan. Ik sneed een topfold witte kaart. Maskeerde de bovenzijde en bewerkte de onderzijde met verschillende Distress inkten en spetterde wat water. Maskeerde de onderzijde en bracht wat wolken aan met het Krafty Scenery Stencil.

Die cut the gras, bushes, cattails and stones using the Pond builder dies and added some ink for some extra details. Colored in the rocks using my Copic markers. Added some birds in the sky using a black fineliner and stamped the sentiment on the top using Wicked Black. Stanste het gras, de struiken, lisdodes en wat stenen uit de pond builder stans en bracht wat extra detail aan op het cardstock door inkten te gebruiken. Kleurde de stenen in met mijn Copics en met een zwarte fineliner bracht ik wat vogels aan in de lucht. Stempelde de tekst op de bovenkant van de kaart met Wicked Black

Stamped the main image and tree of the fish on some Copic Friendly paper, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them out using my sciccors. Adhered evrything on the card and my card was done! Stempelde de grote stempel met een eenatal vissen op Copic vriendelijke paper, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en knipte ze uit. Plakte alles op de kaart en klaar was hij!

Today i have a very colorful card for you. I decided to play along with the photo inspiration challenge by Create a Smile stamps. It's a photo totally up in my ally so i went ahead and created this card. Vandaag een kaart die ik maakte naar aanleiding van de foto inspiratie challenge van Create a Smile stamps. Het is een foto in regenboogkleuren helemaal in mijn straatje.

 The base is a topfold card 10,5 x 14. On the front of the card i only embost the stitchted clouds in the panel. On some watercolor paper i made the water and adhered it to the bottom part. I Die cut the grass, clouds and the rainbow and added some Distress ink to the grass. De basis is een topfold kaart 10,5 x 14. De voorzijde van de kaart emboste ik met het stitched cloud paneel zodat hij alleen de wolken stanste. Uit verschillende kleuren cardstock stanste ik het gras, de wolk en de regenboog. Met Distress inkten maakte ik het wat en plakte dit op de onderzijde van de kaart.

 Stamped all the images on Copic Friendly Paper and colored them up using my Copic markers. Cut them out using my Borther Scan & Cut and added some glossy accent to the eyes. I also added some white details to the stamped images and the water using a white gelpen. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen op Copic vriendlijke paper en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers. Sneed ze daarna uit met mijn Brother Scan & Cut. Op de afbeeldingen en het water bracht ik wat details aan met een witte gelpen.

On black cardstock i heat embost both sentiments. One i cut using a speechbubble die and the other i cut using a banner die. Op zwart cardstock heat emboste ik beide teksten. Eén stanste ik uit met een spreekwolk de andere met een banner stans.

Krafty Peeks day 2: Fairy Folk

Welcome back to Day Two of our April Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Today we are sharing a set called Fairy Folk by artist Sabrina van Vloten. It's a fun and versatile set with super cute and fun fairy's! Hallo allemaal en vandaag dag twee van de release week van Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. Vandaag laten we een stempel zien van artiest Sabrina van Vloten genaamd Fairy Folk! Een grappige set met verschillende elfjes.

This super fun set consist out of five fairies , one main sentiment wich you can alter your self and four extra stamps to use to build your scene's. De set bestaat uit vijf elfjes, één hoofd tekst die je zelf aan kunt vullen met één van de vijf andere teksten en vier losse stempels om je scene's mee te maken.

For my card i cut a white topfold card seize 10,5 x 13,5. On the top of the card i added some tubbled glass ink, except for three spots that i made dark brown with Walnut Stain ink. On the bottom i blended Mermaid Lagoon with Blueprint Sketch and splatterded some water. Die cut all the gras, bushes, house and leaves and added some texture with Mowed Lawn and Forest moss. Voor mijn kaart sneed ik een topfold kaart 10,5 x 13,5. Aan de bovenzijde bracht ik wat Tumbled Glass aan behalve op drie plekken die maakte ik bruin met Walnut Stain. Op de bodem blende ik Mermaid Lagoon en Blueprint Sketch en spetterde er wat water op. Ik stanste het gras, struiken, boombladeren, het huis en bewerkte dit met Mowed Lawn en Forest Moss.

Stamped the images using Wicked Black as did i stamp the sentiment on the water. Colored the images using my Copic markers and cut them using my Brother Scan & Cut. Added the Cottontails and stones and the scene was done! Stempelde de afbeeldingen met Wicked Black en eveneens de tekst in het water. Kleurde alles in met mijn Copic Markers en sneed ze uit met de Brother Scan & Cut. Voegde nog wat Cottontails en stenen toe en klaar was mijn scene.

Krafty Peeks day 2: You're gnaw-some

Welcome back to Day Two of our January Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Today we are sharing a set called You're Gnaw-some! by artist Neda Sedadrin. It's a fun and versatile set with super cute and fun beavers! Hallo allemaal en vandaag dag twee van de release week van Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. Vandaag laten we een stempel zien van artiest Neda Sedadrin genaamd You're Gnaw-some! Een grappige set met super bevers.

This super fun set consist out of three beavers, six sentiments and three extra stamps to use build your scene's. De set bestaat uit drie beavers, zes teksten en drie losse stempels om je scene's mee te maken.

For my card as a a base i used the pond builder by Hello Bluebird. I combined it with the rectangle shaker die by My Favorite Things. So i build up the scene inside the shaker using different colors of cardstock, Krafty Scenery Stencil and inks. Voor mijn basis gebruikte ik de vijver builder van Hello Bluebird. Ik combineerde deze met de rechthoekige shaker stans van My Favorite Things. Bouwde de scene in de shaker met verschillende kleuren cardstock, Krafty Scenery Stencil en inkten.

Filled up the shaker with two different types of sequins and two different seizes of hearts. The front panel i inked up using the Woodgrain stencil. Finished of the top of the shaker with some pond flowers. Vulde de shaker met twee verschillende soorten sequins en twee verschillende maten papieren hartjes. Het paneel van de shaker bewerkte ik met het woodgrain stencil.

Stamped the beavers and the hearts on Copic paper and colored them up using my Copic Markers. Cut them out using my Brother Scan & Cut. Placed them on top of the shaker panel so the would be the focal point. Heat embost the sentiment on some black paper and cut it into a banner. Stempelde de bevers en het hart op Copic papier en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic Markers. Sneed ze daarna uit met mijn Brother Scan & Cut en plakte ze op de shaker zodat ze het aandachtspunt zijn. Heat emboste de tekst op zwart cardstock en sneed er een banner van.
