My Favorite Things August Release Countdown Day 1

 Hello all,

Today is the last day of the August release countdown of My Favorite Things and you know what that means right? Tommorow all the new products will be avaible! Did you decide on what you are going to get? Luckly you have one more night to think about it! Vandaag is de laatste dag van de augustus release countdown van My Favorite Things en je weet wat dat betekend! Morgen zullen alle nieuwe producten beschikbaar zijn. Heb je al besloten wat je zou willen hebben? Gelukkig kun je er nog een dag over nadenken!

As I said on earlier post this release is all about slimline cards for me so this one is no exception! Today i made a spooky birthday card using the Hanging Happy Birthday Sign together with the Slimline English Brick Wall stencil and some older products.

Zoals benoemd tijdens de eerdere post deze release, draait het voor mij deze release om slimline kaarten dus ook deze is geen uitzondering! Vandaag maakte ik een "enge" verjaardagkaart met de Hanging Happy Birthday Sign samen met het Slimline English Brick Wall stencil in combinatie met wat oudere producten.

Cut a Smooth White panel, added the bricks using the Slimline English Brick wall stencil and some Black Soot Distress ink and splattered some black paint. Die cut the Hanging Happy Birthday sign out of Black Licorice Cardstock and the letters out of Orange Zest, Limelight. Boysenberry and Smooth White. Sneed een Smooth White rechthoek, voegde er stenen aan toe met het Slimline English Brick Wall stencil, Black Soot Distress inkt en spetterde wat zwarte verf. Stanste het Hanging Happy Birthday sign uit Black Licorice cardstock en de letters uit Orange Zest, Limelight, Boysenberry en Smooth White.

Cut a Smooth White topfold basecard, cut 1 cm strips out of the same colors of cardstock as i used for the sign and made my own pattern paper. Cut a Black Licorice rectangle and added this in the middle of the card. On the inkblended panel i stamped some webs and cut out three of the stones. Added the panel with foam tape and glued some wobbly eyes into the missing stones. Stanste een Smooth White topfold basiskaart, van iedere kleur die ik gebruikte voor het bord sneed ik stroken van 1 cm en maakte er mijn eigen designpapier mee. Sneed een rechthoek van Black Licorice en plakte dit in het midden van de kaart. Op de "stenen" rechthoek stempelde ik wat webben en de spin, sneed daarna drie stenen uit. Plakte de rechtoek op de basiskaart met foam tape en plakte in de missende stenen wobbly eyes.

Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers, and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Stamped the skulls with Gravel Grey on the white balloons and added a layer of Glossy Accent on to all the balloons. Glued the ghost on to the card using action wobbles. Heat set the sentiment on some Black Licorice cardstock and die cut it using the matching dies. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Stempelde de doodshoofden met Gravel Grey op de witte ballonen en bracht glossy accent aan op alle ballonen. Plakte de spoken met een action wobble op de kaart. Heat emboste de tekst op Black Licorice en stanste het uit met de passende banner stans.

Purple - V09, V06, V05, V04

Green - YG09, YG07, YG05, YG03, YG01

Orange - YR09, YR07, YR04, YR02
