Today i'm back again with a new Sketch Challenge by My Favorite Things. This week i decided to make a Birthday card just because i always seem to have a shortage of Birthday cards. I especcially challenged myself to try make a few male cards. Vandaag ben ik er weer met een nieuwe schets challenge van My Favorite Things. Deze week maakte ik een verjaardagkaart op één of andere manier lijkt ik er altijd te kort te komen! Ik daagde mezelf daarnaast uit om een aantal mannenkaarten te maken.
This week i stayed true to the sketch accept for adding one extra element to the card in my case the dragon.
Deze week bleef ik trouw aan de schets, ik voegde echter één extra detail toe de draak.
Out of Aquarel paper I cut a piece of watercolor paper and temporarly added the negative circle out of the Circle Extra Ordinaire Stencil in the middle and ink blended the sky. I have a Turorial on Youtube here. Removed the negative and cut it using Slimline Basic rectangle. Uit aquarel papier sneed ik een stuk en plakte tijdelijk het negatief van de Cirkel Extraordinaire Stencil in het midden en inkt blende de lucht. Je kunt vinden hoe ik dat gedaan heb in deze tutorial hier. Verwijderde de cirkel en stanste het geheel met de rechthoek van de Slimline Basis.
Inked up the moon the same as on the tutorial except using the positive part of the stencil, glued the inked panel on a topfold Smooth White base card. Heat embost the sentiment on some Black Licorice and cut it using a banner die. I had to run it twice to make it that long. Inkt blende de maan op dezelfde manier alleen gebruikte ik nu het positieve gedeelte van het stencil. Plakte de recthoek op een topfold Smooth White basiskaart. Heat emboste de tekst op Black Licorice en stanste het met een banner, ik haalde hem daarvoor in twee delen door de machine omdat het anders niet paste.
Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Stamped the sentiment in the cloud and placed everything on the card. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Stempelde de tekst op de wolk en plakte alles op de kaart.
