Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge - Tic Tac Toe

Hallo allemaal / Hello everybody!

Today it's Saturday wich means a new challenge started over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog, today the theme is make a project using the Tic Tac Toe board. You can go every route with this theme so get your stamps, ink and stencils out and play along.

For my card i started with my topfold kraft card base. I stamped the snowflakes onto it using Picket Fence. Die cut a snow border out of white cardstock and glued it on the base.

Stamped the trees and colored them using my Copic Markers. Die cut the the dome frame six times and glued five onto each other. In between five and six i adhered a piece of acetate. Die cut the dome fram in the largest size and colored it with yellow and orange ink. Splattered some snow and filled the dome with sequins.

Stamped all the images and colored them up using my Copic Markers. Fussy cut them and glued them onto the snowdome. Heat embost the sentiment on some black cardstock and die cut it using a banner die.

We wish you a Merry Christmas

Hallo allemaal,

Daar zat ik gisterenavond en vanochtend weer. Ik was eigenlijk heel erg moe van de slaapdienst van zaterdag en de vroege dienst van gisteren, maar had toch nog wat energie en heel veel inspiratie om een kaart te maken. Doordat ik de Superstar contest gewonnen had lagen deze producten al zeker twee weken op mijn bureau en dacht nu ga ik er wat mee doen!

Bij de laatste release zat de Launch Party Die-Namics. Erg leuk weer zo'm interactive stans, ik heb er nog een idee mee maar dat voor later ;). Ik sneed een topfold kaart van 8 bij 8 inch en rilde op 4 inch. Uit wit cardstock sneed ik een rechthoek van 7 3/4  en 3 3/4 inch en bewerkte deze met Distress inkt. Spletterde met water een een acrylic paint marker. In het midden heat emboste ik de tekst.

Om het mechanisme te maken stanste ik de pull tabs uit grijs cardstock en maakte deze kleiner zodat ze passend werden. Heat emboste de tekst erop. Uit acetate stanste ik twee keer de benodigde onderdelen voor het mechanisme. Uit de achtergrond stanste ik twee keer de gleuf. Uit wit cardstock stanste ik de overige onderdelen uit de stans set. En zette het mechanisme in elkaar. Karolyn heeft een handig filmpje gemaakt dat kun je hier vinden.

Stempelde de sneeuwmannen en het rendier op Copic papier en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers. Stanste ze uit met de bijbehorende stansen. De linker sneeuwbal stempelde ik met de mirror techniek. Uit wit cardstock stanste ik het sneeuw en bepaalde waar de afbeeldingen kwamen. Kleurde de ondergrond met mijn Copics.

Plakte het sneeuw en de afbeeldingen op en bepaalde nu waar dat de sneeuwbal kwam. Plakte dit op het mechanisme en knipte het overschot af. Stanste de bomen uit groen en kraft cardstock en bewerkte het groen met wat gesso.

Sending love this Christmas

Gisteren na veel denkwerk toch nog maar besloten aan een kaart te beginnen, zo zat ik dus gisteren nog op mijn zolderkamertje. Ik besloot de lopende schets challenge te combineren met de huidige kleuren challenge van My Favorite Things en dit is dan het eindresultaat.

Uit steel grey cardstock sneed ik een topfold card en bewerkte dit met een stencil en witte Distress inkt. Op het steel grey cardstock heat emboste ik de tekst en stanste deze uit met een banner stans.

Voor de achtergrond sneed ik twee rechthoeken uit blue breeze cardstock en gaf het wat spetters met een witte acrylic marker. Uit smooth white cardstock sneed ik twee stroken sneeuw en zorgde ervoor dat deze matched met het strookje aan de voorzijde.

Stanste de bomen uit blue yonder en steel grey cardstock en maakte er de hele bomen van.  

Stempelde de vos en kleurde deze in met mijn Copic Markers. Stanste hem daarna uit. De muts en het strikje stempelde ik uit blue yonder cardstock en paperpiecte deze op de afbeelding.

October release and krafty hop!

Hello everyone!

And the day has come that the October Release by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps is available! Go quickly to the shop and make sure to buy all our new goodies!

For my hop day i decided to make a clean and simple set of ATC cards. I cut some white base cards and used the three solid trees combined with six different ink colors to make a rainbow row of trees. To finish of the cards i used the sentiments out of a different stamp.

Krafty Peeks day 3 : Caroling cuties + a challenge

Hello all,

Welcome to day Three of the October Krafty peeks by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. It's the last day because of tonight all the goodies will be available in store. Today we have a really versatile set by artist Neda Sedadrin called Caroling cuties.

It's a very fun set that you can use in many ways. The set contains five images and four sentiments to complete the set.

For my card i decided to make a slime line card. Cut the card in the seize 6 x 8 inch and folded to a   3 x 8 seize card. With Distress inks i made the background and splattered some water and white paint on it.

Stamped the images and colored them in using my Copic Markers. Fussy cut all the images and adhered them on some die cut snow. To make the caroling more real i added some music notes.

The fill up the top of the card i die cut the Falala four times and glued them together. Ended up stamping the sentiment on the base using Wicked Black.

Krafty Peeks day 2: Solid holiday

Hello all,

Welcome back to Day Two of our October Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Today we are sharing another solid stamping set called Solid Holiday. It's a stamp perfect to make a quick and easy card or to make fabulous backgrounds yourself!

The set contains 11 images and 1 sentiment matching the deer stamp. I can see you brain working already on some fun ideas using the versatile set!

For my card i decided to use the reindeer stamp together with the sentiment. On a piece of kraft cardstock i stamped the reindeer in different colors ink and in different directions. With a red pencil i added some dots. I glued the panel on to a topfold red card base. 

I figured it looked a bit plain so on every reindeer i added some googling eyes, a mouth and a nose. Off course one reindeer needed a red nose! The sentiment i heat embost on the same red cardstock and cut it down to a correct seize and glued it on the card.

Krafty Peeks day 1: Snowflake kisses

Hell all,

Welcome to day one of the October release peeks by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. Today we are sharing a awesome solid snowflake stamp called Snowflake kisses. On top of that we are also releasing two stencils, one new ink color and a set of enamel dots!

It's s set wich contains several different sizes and shapes of snowflakes, together with five matching sentiments!

For my cards i decided to make two matching cards only then in there contra colors. So i die cut a blue and white panel. Then i die cut two of the same size panels out of masking tape and die cut a heart out of that. Masked the panels of and started stamping.

On the white card i stamped the snowflakes using Sparkling Saphire and on the blue panel i used Tsukineko Versamark together with white embossing powder. When i was done stamping i removed the masking tape and i could see the hearts but they were not quit visible. So i placed the masked tape back and traced the inside of the heart with a pencil.

On the white card i then traced the pencil heart with a blue stabillo marker and on the blue card i traced it with a white gelpen. To finish the hearts i added some dots with the matching colors. I heat embost and stamped the sentiments and die cut it to a banner. Placed it in the middle of the heart and finished of with some enamel dots. To complete the cards i glued the panels on a opposite color cardstock topfold card.

Kraftin' Kimmie - Inspirational Wednesday

Today it's my turn to inspire you for the inspirational Wednesday post over at the Kraftin' Kimmie blog, and as it is October and Christmas is getting closer i thought it would be fun to inspire you with a Christmas card.

Hello all it's my time again to inspire you. With Christmas getting closer i figured some Christmas inspiration would be a great way to go. So i have decided to use a old time favorite Dear Santa!

I cut a top fold card and corner chopped the two top corners. With a white acrylic paint marker i added some white splatters. Heat embost the sentiment on a piece of black cardstock.

Stamped the image using Wicked Black and colored it in using my copic markers. I fussy cut the image and glued it on the card using 3-d tape.

Copic colors used:

Red - R59, R39, R29, R27, R24

Dog - R37, R35, R33, R31, R22, R20, N9, N7, N5

Fur - W5, W3, W`, W00

Beard - C3, C1, C00

Black - N9, N7, N6, N5

Eén van mijn beste vriendinnen is jarig geweest in September, nu waren we net op vakantie en daarna ging zij op vakantie dus vandaag hadden we eindelijk een date en kon ik haar cadeau geven met deze kaart als extra. Eigenlijk maken we ieder jaar een kaart met een kat dus ook deze keer mocht er geen ontbreken.

Het werd weer een slimline kaart, ze zijn erg leuk om te maken en weer eens wat anders dan vierkant of recht. De basis kleurde ik roze met Oxide inkten en de bovenkant een beetje blauw met Distress inkt.

Stanste de letters en maakte de onderkant een beetje grijs. Stanste het gras en verlengde dit zodat het de gehele kaart zou halen. Plakte het gras op de kaart en tussen het gras kwam de tekst Purrday. Heat emboste de tekst en stanste het uit met een banner die.

Stanste de wolken en ook deze gaf ik een accent met Distress inkt. Stempelde daarna alle losse onderdelen en kleurde deze in met mijn Copic markers.

Stanste de stempelafdrukken met de bijbehorende stansen en plakte deze op de kaart.
