Kraftin Kimmie Saturday Challenge - Holiday

Hallo allemaal / Hello everybody!

Today it's saturday wich means a new challenge started over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog, today the theme is holiday, so you can make a card for every single holiday, i decided to go for Halloween.

We always enjoy your creations so be sure to submit them so you can have a chance to WIN a $20 gift card to the Shop!! Show us your stuff!! In keeping in line with the rest of our challenges (Wonderful Wednesday and our NEW Krafty Scrappy Challenge), we will be drawing one winner per month from all Saturday Challenge entries to win a $20 gift card!! You can enter as many times per month as you'd like!!

I used Doodlebug papers, enemal dots, My Favorite Things dies.

I stamped one of the witches from the re-released set: My best friends are witches, onto Neenah cardstock and colored her with copics. I made serveral rectangles from designpapers and overlapped them with each other. I made banners with dies from My Favorite Things and heat embossed the sentiment witch also comes with the set. And finished the card with enemal dots.

September Krafty Skrappin' (anything but a kard!) Challenge.

Today starts a new anything but a card challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps blog. You can enter this challenge with anything as long as it is not a card!

THIS MONTH'S THEME: ANYTHING GOES!!!

1. Create ANY scrap page, Project Life Layout or pocket page cards, altered item, etc. JUST NOT A CARD!

2. MUST be a NEW creation (created on or after this post date)

3. MUST use Kraftin Kimmie stamps to be entered in to the drawing.

4. You have a month to play, enter AS MANY TIMES as you'd like!

5. PRIZES?!? Of course there are prizes!! Once we've reached 5 entries, we draw a random winner (winner will be drawn at the close of the challenge)!!

6. You have until Monday, October 24th @ 12:00 pm Eastern to get your entries in.

7. Be sure to also share your creations on our Krafty Friends FB page so we can all drool and OOHHHH and AHHHHH!

I decided to pimp a giftbag to a trick or tr(eat) bag. I used Dutch Doobadoo box art (470.713.007), Marianne design Die, Nuvuo drops black and clear, cheesecloth, Graphic 45 papers.

I made one box but did both sides. I first made the box itself out of black cardstock. Then cut out the designpapers for all sides. I used some distress inkt to distress the designpapers and the oval in the middle. I die cutted the oval dies twice out of black cardstock and made the white oval cardstock by hand using the inside of the die. 

I stamped both zombie girls off the set Trick or Eat and colored them up in sepia tones (E47, E44, E43, E42, E41, E40) and fussy cutted both the zombies. I attached them to the ovals with 3-d tape and then added some dots with the nuvuo drops. I stamped the sentiments one from the set Trick or Eat and one from the set Monster Mash. Behind the oval i did some cheesecloth.

Cactus trio

Hallo allemaal / Hello everybody,

Vandaag een cactus trio ;), ik maakte een kaart naar aanleiding van de Marianne Design Challenge en ik vond ze zo leuk worden dat ik er maar meteen weer drie maakte. Drie verschillende kaarten maar met de cactus in de hoofdrol. (Let op! lange blogpost ;) )

Dit was de eerste kaart die ik maakte en moest voldoen aan de opdracht gebruik twee hoofdkleuren en een "pop" van een andere kleur. Ik gebruikte de kleuren kraft en wit als hoofdkleur en de kleur groen als "pop".  Deze kaart zend ik dan ook in bij het Marianne Design Challenge Blog.

De basis is een dubbele rechthoekige kaart van 11 x 13. Daarop wit designpapier (PK 9148) van 10 x 13. Van kraft twee keer het vierkant (CR 1359) gestanst zodat het frame ontstond, deze met 3-d tape op de kaart geplakt. Vervolgens uit Neenah papier en twee kleuren groen cardstock de potten en cactussen (CR 1413) gestanst en ge-embost. De potten heb ik gekleurd met mijn copics (E47, E44, E43, E42, E41) en bewerkt met een witte gelpen. 

Alles aan elkaar vastgemaakt en met 3-d tape op het frame geplakt. De tekst (CS 0987) gestempeld en als laatste plakte ik wat enemal dots 

(PL 4501, PL 4502 en PL 4513).

Het tweede kaartje startte eigenlijk hetzelfde als de eerste alleen besloot ik tijdens het maken dan ik hem liever horizontaal zag dan verticaal en draaide dus alles om.

De basis is een dubbele witte kaart van 11 x 13, daarop kraft papier van 10,3 x 13 en daarop designpapier van 10 x 13. Ik stanste een frame uit kraft papier met een rechthoekige stans van MFT en plakte deze op de kaart met 3-d tape. Wederom stanste ik de potten en cactussen uit Neenah papier en twee soorten groen cardstock. Kleurde de potten weer met copics 

(YR27, YR24, YR21, G99, G94, G21) en maakte het af met een witte gelpen. Plakte alles op de basis met 3-d tape. 

Ik stempelde de tekst van Els Brigé op de stempelpapier en stanste deze uit, de stans stanste ik nog drie keer uit kraft papier zodat er dimensie ontstond en plakte dit in het frame. Als laatste stempelde ik de overige tekst op het designpapier.

En als laatste maakte ik dit kaartje, wederom begon ik op dezelfde manier met een dubbele kraft kaart van 11 x 13, daarop zwart cardstock van 10.3 x 13 en als laatste designpapier van 10 x 13. 

Ik stanste het cirkel frame met twee cirkel stansen van MFT uit kraftpapier en plakte dit op de kaart met 3-d tape. Stanste de catussen uit Neenah papier en twee soorten groen cardstock en kleurde de potten met copics (E44, E43, E42) en bewerkte deze met een witte gelpen. Plakte alles op de basis met 3-d tape.

Op zwart cardstock stempelde ik met versamarkt inkt de teksten om deze vervolgens te heat embossen met wit embossingspoeder. De tekst gefeliciteerd stanste ik uit en plakte alles met 3-d tape op de basiskaart. Als laatste voegde ik nog wat enemal dots toe.

My Favorite Things Superstar Challenge

Hallo allemaal / Hello everybody,

I saw this My Favorite Things Superstar contest and i really wanted to participate in it. I do not own alot of My Favorite Things goodies so i had to work with what i had. But the longer i waited the more impressive card i saw passing by and thought that my card was never going to be good enough to come nearby some of those cards, but then i taught to myself, that i'm good enough to participate and went ahead and create this card. I'm super pleased with it!

I First made a line on my card to decide were i wanted everything to be. I stamped the elephant (BB Adorable Elephants) and the ballon with Memento Inkt and then masked it of with some masking tape. I then colored the grass like this. Removed the masking tape and colored the elephant and the ballon using the no line technique. I die cut the sentiment Happy (Die namics - Happy Greetings) four times and glued them together. I made the grass onto the letters to match the background. I Stamped the Birthday sentiment from the same stamp set. And then die cut out everything with a rectangle die from blueprint 29. I cut out a double white base card and glued then panel onto it with 3-d tape.

September release and krafty hop!

Halle allemaal / Hello Everyone,

Woohoo! It's finally here!! Today we are celebrating the release of ALL of our NEW September stamps.

ALL FOUR new sets are NOW available in the Krafty Shop! So let's have a big happy hop around the design team blogs and check them all out in action! Grab a nice hot beverage, sit back and relax while you hop around and enjoy all the amazing creations!!

Lastly we showed you the fabulous MINI MONSTERS yesterday!!! Eeeeee!

I used, Distress inkts, My Favorite Things Die and papers. I Colored up those cuties from the Mini Monster set and stacked them up. Behind the monster i did some pink ditress inkt so it would match the papers. I stamped the sentiment from the set and ended up stamping some stars as well.

Good morning and welcome to Day Three of our September New Release Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We've got a super sweet stamp set to share with you today!  This one is from artist Becky Pearce and it's called

MINI MONSTERS!

These chubby little kiddos are dressed up and having fun as MONSTERS!!!  They are ready for some spooky fun!  The set comes with several main images, lots of cute accessory stamps and five fabby sentiment stamps for a total of SEVENTEEN stamps in the set!

It's also challenge day and our hostess is Krafty Girl, Tangii!  And as always during release week, the challenge is ANYTHING GOES!  So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with any stamp but if you use a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp you'll double your chances to WIN!!  Use any sketch, any design, any embellishments because Anything Goes!   Have some krafty fun and join us this week because we'd LOVE to see your KKS designs.  You have a week to play with this challenge and at the end of the month, we'll announce a WINNER from all of the weekly challenges for September!  We hope you can play along for your chance to WIN a $20 Gift card.

I used Dutch Doobadoo box art Lantern ( 470.713.033), doodlebug papers, Marianne Design, and My Favorite Things dies. Black and Green cardstock, A tealight on batteries, clear embossingpowder. I used all the monsters from the set and colored them up with copics, fussy cutted them out and glued onto the lights with 3-d tape.

Good morning and welcome to Day Two of our September New Release Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Did you love yesterday's peek??  Well guess what?  We've got TWO MORE  ladies from artist Annie Rodrigue for you today!

First up is DEVILISH DEBORAH!

This creepy chick has a few little ghoulish friends!  Also her hair and dress are SO fun to colour!!  Plus there are three fun sentiments.

Next is ELECTRIC EVELYN!

Check out this hilarious image featuring the Bride of Frankenstein!!  Not only is the image amazing but the sentiments are HILARIOUS!!!  Don't you love this fabulous new stamp set?!

I used papers from Grapic 45, black, green and purple cardstock, Marianne Design Die, Ribbon, Gel pen, Wild Orchid crafts flowers, sewing machine and a charm

I colored up Devilish Deborah with copics and ended up fussy cutting here, and i can tell you that was not easy! I glued here on top off the card with 3-d tape.

I used Dutch Doobadoo Card art stencil champagne bottle (470.713.602), Dutch Doobadoo alfabet and numbers (470.455.003), Noor Design Papers and dies.

I stamped the girl from the Let's Celebrate set and colored her with copics. I fussy cut her out and glued here onto the card with 3-d tape. On the Numbers i stamped two sentiments coming from the same set.

The Sketchy Challenge - a Sketch Challenge

Hallo allemaal / Hello Everybody

Today starts a new challenge over at The Sketchy Challenge, this time around we have a Sketch Challenge, now get out those stamps or images and tag along!

I made two card but i mirrored them and adjusted them slighty to look different. First i made the backgroun myself i used three different colors distress inkt and sprayed them with water then i took some paper and pressed those into the inkt and dried them with my heatgun. Then i stamped the pineapple that comes with the flamingo's and die cut the base with a die from My Favorite Things. I also die cut the black banner and heat embossed the sentiment in white embossingpowder.

I die cute the flower, leaves (LR 0478) and sunglasses (LR 0477). I stamped both flamingo's from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps from the set Fancy Flamingo's.

Colored both of the flamingo's with copics and fussy cutted them. Then i attached everything together and clued that with 3-d tape on top of a white base.

Kraftin Kimmie - Wonderful Wednesday

It's Wonderful Wednesday time!! We hope you can play along!! As always....it's ANYTHING GOES!! Break out your Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and get krafty!!

We want EVERYONE to be able to play along so your submission can use ANY stamp and can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item....you name it!! I stamped lukas from the retired set You're so cool with memento inkt en colored him up with copics. Then i cut him out and glued him onto a piece of designpaper. The sentiment is also from the set.

Cheerful Sketches September Challenge

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag start er een nieuwe challenge op het Cheerful Sketches Challenge Blog. Het is voor mij het laatste kaartje dat ik maak als DT van dit blog omdat ik besloten heb mijn DT- schap bij cheerful stop te zetten. Ook via deze weg wil is Geesje en het team nogmaals bedanken voor alles!

De basis is een dubbele vierkante kaart van 14 x 14, daarop wit cardstock en designpapier van Maja. Nogmaals een vierkant wit cardstock en designpapier en alleen dan 2 cm kleiner dan de binnenmaten van het andere vierkant. Een strook van 3,5 x 12,5 met daarop weer designpapier. Een stempel van Joy Craft en een bloementoef met blaadjes van Marianne Design.

Ik heb een stempel gebruik van Pinky Dolls een van onze sponsors van deze maand, de digi's zijn al in een zwart wit teint en ik dacht dat het wel grappig zou zijn om alleen het groen en rood te accentueren. Ook heb ik het bont bewerkt met liqued applicator. Daarna uitgestanst met een stans van Marianne design, dezelfde stans de buitenkant gebruikt voor het vierkante designpapier en als laatste uit wit cardstock de vierkante basic stans.
