My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #524

 Hello all!

Today i'm back again with a new Sketch Challenge by My Favorite Things. This week i decided to make a Birthday card just because i always seem to have a shortage of Birthday cards. Vandaag ben ik er weer met een nieuwe schets challenge van My Favorite Things. Deze week maakte ik een verjaardagkaart op één of andere manier lijkt ik er altijd te kort te komen!

This week i stayed true to the sketch as it is a Slimline cardsketch and you know me i like to make slimline cards! Deze week bleef ik trouw aan de de sketch, het is een slimline schets en als je me een beetje kent weet je dat ik die helemaal leuk vind.

So i started making the front panel out of Kraft cardstock, cut the circles and stamped the background using Kraft Dye ink and splattered some black and white paint on to it. Starte met de voorkant en stanste de rechthoek uit Kraft cardstock, stanste er de cirkels uit en stempelde achtergrond met Kraft Dye inkt, spetterde daarna wat zwart en witte verf.

Cut a Smooth White side fold base card and traced the circles of the Kraft card on to the main card. Masked of the bottom and top and inked up the circles using Tattered Rose and Abandoned Coral. Splattered some water as black and white ink. Sneed een Smooth White basiskaart en traceerde de cirkels op de kaart. Maskeerde de onderkant en bewerkte de cirkels met Tattered Rose en Abandoned Coral Distress inkt. Spetterde water en zwart en witte verf.

Cut four strips of the Black & White paper pack and adhered it to the sides of the basecard. Cut them were the panel would end also, and adhered the kraft panel to the base using foamtape. Sneed vier strips van het Zwart & Wit designpapier en plakte dat aan beide zijde van de basiskaart. Daarna plakte ik de Kraft basis op de kaart met foamtape.

Stamped the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Stamped the sentiment on Smooth White cardstock, placed everything on the card and finished of using some black enemal dots. Stempelde de afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics.Stempelde de tekst op Smooth White cardstock en stanste ze uit. Plakte alles op de kaart en werkte het geheel af met zwarte enemal dots.

Used Copic Colors:

Green - G28, G24, G21, G20

Red - R29, R27, R24

Yellow - Y17, Y15, Y13

Black - N7, N5

White - C3, C1, C0

My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day 1

 Hello all,

Today is the last day of the January release countdown of My Favorite Things and you know what that means right? Tommorow all the new products will be avaible! Did you decided on what you are going to get? Luckly you have one more night to think about it! Vandaag is de laatste dag van de januari release countdown van My Favorite Things en je weet wat dat betekend! Morgen zullen alle nieuwe producten beschikbaar zijn. Heb je al besloten wat je zou willen hebben? Gelukkig kun je er nog een dag over nadenken!

You did not see an interactive card yet so here it is! Using the adorable Mini Meows and the Blueprints 27 Die-Namics to turn it into a shaker.

Jullie hebben nog geen interactieve kaart gezien dus hier is hij! Met de super leuke Mini Meows en de Bleuprints 27 Die-Namics maakte ik deze shakerkaart.

The base is a topfold Smooth White card. Using the Petite Ginham Paper Pad i cut the outer die out of the the Bluerprints dies. The farme i die cut seven times out of Smooth White and one time out of Kraft cardstock and addhered the Smooth White pieces together. De basis een een topfold Smooth White kaart. Uit de Petite Gingham designpapier stanste ik de buitenste stans van de Blueprints. Stanste het frame zeven keer uit Smooth White en één keer uit Kraft cardstock. Plakte alle witte op elkaar.

The leftovers of the Smooth White i used to ink them up usign Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick. Glued the Smooth White frame on the card, added the inked bits and glued a acetate piece behind the kraft frame. Filled the big rectangle with shaker material. and closed it using the kraft frame. De restjes van één setje uit het witte cardstock inkte ik met Spun Sugar en Worn Lipstick. Plakte het Smooth White frame op de kaart en daarna de geinkte stukken. Vulde het grote gedeelte met shakermateriaal en plakte achter het Kraft frame wat acetate. Sloot het geheel af door de kraft basis op het geheel te plakken.

Stamped the images, colored them up and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Added them to the frame. Heat embost the sentiment on some Cotton Candy and cut it before gleuing it to the card. Stempelde de afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copics en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende stansen. Plakte ze op het frame. Heat emboste de tekst op Cotton Candy en stanste het uit voor ik het op de kaart plakte.

My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day 2

Fot today's card i went a bit out of my comfort zone making a stamping technique i never used before and it did not come easily. The Love you big time is great using this technique.

Voor de kaart van vandaag ging ik uit mijn comfort zone en gebruikte een techniek die ik nog niet eerder gebruikt heb, ik kan je vertellen het was een hele uitdaging. De stempel Love you Big time was er perfect  voor!

First i cut a Smooth White rectangle and added the Love You stamp on to it using my Misti. So what i did first for every letter is masking the others i did not need. Then stamp the letter in the lighest color. Then clean it up and stamp it again in the larger color. But before stamping i clean off half of the letter.

Eerst sneed ik een Smooth White rechthoek en met mijn Misti plaatste ik de Love You stempel op de plek waar ik hem wilde hebben. Bij alle letters deed ik hetzelfde namelijk; maskeren van de letters die ik niet gebruikt. Dan stempelde ik de betreffende letter in de lichtste kleur. Maakte hem schoon en inkte de letter in een donkerdere kleur. Maar voor ik stempelde maakte ik de helft van de letter schoon.

Heat embost the sentiment on some Black Licorice and cut it using a banner die. Adhered the stamped rectangle on a Grout Gray base card. Finished it of using some clear crystals. Heat emboste de tekst op Black Licorice en stanste het uit. Plakte het geheel op een topfold Grout Grey basiskaart en werkte ghet geheel af met wat doorzichtige crystals.

My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day 3

Welcome to day three of the January release countdown by My Favorite Things, we are halfway there! So hop along for more beautiful inspiration by the team. Welkom bij dag drie van de januari release countdown van My Favorite Things, we zijn halverwege! Hop gezellig mee langs alle design team leden voor meer inspiratie.

Today we are showcasing a new unicorn set and i totally love unicorn so it's right up my alley! I combined the Friendly Unicorns together with the new Free for $60 the Loopy Love Die-Namics.

Vandaag laten we een nieuwe eenhoorn set zien en ik ben helemaal weg van eenhoorns en alles glitter! Ik maakte een kaart met de Friendly Unicorns en combineerde deze met de nieuwe Free For $60 de Loopy Love Die-Namics.

Cut a Smooth White panel, temporaly added the Window panes Stencil. Using Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold and Picked Raspberry Distress ink i colored in the rectangles. Splattered some water and White paint on to them. Added the panel to a Ripe Raspberry cardbase. Stanste een Smooth White paneel, plakte tijdelijk het Window Panes Stencil op de rechthoek. Met Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold en Picked Raspberry Distress inkt kleurde ik de rechthoeken. Spetterde water en witte ver en plakte het geheel op ee topfold Ripe Raspberry basiskaart.

Cut the word Love out of Gold Glitter cardstock, three times out of Smooth White and adhered them together. Glued it to the panel and stamped the sentiment. Cut it using the Skinny Strips Die-Namics and added it to the card. Stanste het woord love uit goud glittercardstock, drie keer uit Smooth White en plakte ze op elkaar. Plakte het woord op de kaart en stempelde de tekst. Stanste deze uit met de Skinny Strips Die-Namics en het ging op de love.

Stamped the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Added them to the cardbase using Different type of glue / foamtape. Finished of using some gold sparkle on the horns. Stempelde de afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Plakte ze op de kaart met verschillende soorten lijm/foamtape en gaf de hoorns wat goud glitter.

My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day 4

 Hello all,

One day closer to the January release by My Favorite Things! Only four more days to go until the new release will be avaible! Dag 4 van de My Favorite Things januari release countdown is hier, dat betekend dat het nu nog maar vier dagen duurt voordat de nieuwe release verkrijgbaar is!

For today's card i made anothe slimline card using the Koala-ty Time together with the new Slimline Slide in Die-Namics.

Voor de kaart van vandaag maakte ik nog een slimline kaart met de Koala-ty Time samen met de nieuwe Slimeline Slide in Die-Namics.

So first i made the biggest panel out of Smooth White, added the circkle die addon onto and cut it twice so i could stick a panel behind it. Added it to a sidefold Kraft cardbase leaving the die cut parts loose. Uit Smooth White stanste ik eerst de grote rechthoek en stanste uit deze rechthoek twee keer de cirkel addon uit het paneel. Ik kan nu een kaart achter het geheel schuiven en plakte het op een kraft sidefold kaart en liet daarbij de open schuif gedeeltes vrij.

Cut the smaller Slimline panel and added some Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey and Candied apple on to it. Splattered some water and some black paint on to it. Cut a Green Room tag part in this set and added it to the back of the cardbase. Added some Twine so i can be easely pulled. Stanste de smallere slimline paneel en bewerkte dit met Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey en Candied Apple. Spetterde zwarte verf en water. Stanste een Green Room tag en plakte dit achter de smalle basis. Werkte het geheel af met twine zodat je hem er makkelijk uit kunt halen.

Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Decided were i wanted the images to be and stamped the sentiment and the grass on the bases. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic marker en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Besloot waar ik de afbeeldingen wilde hebben en stempelde het gras en de tekst.

Used the smaller cirkle and the heart die cut and added some Copics and Distress inks. Glued all the images in place and added some glossy accent to the heart. Gebruikte de kleinere cirkel uit de set en het hart en stanste deze. Bewerkte ze met Distress inkt en en Copic markers. Plakte de afbeeldingen op en bewerkte het hart met Glossy Accent.

My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day 5

 Hello all,

It’s time for the My FavoriteThings January release countdown! During the countdown, the MFT Design Team is sharing lots of projects featuring all of the new products. The new release will officially be available on Januari 12th at 10:00 am EST (= Europe: Januari 12th at 4:00 pm CET). Het is tijd voor de My Favorite Things januarirelease countdown! Nog 5 dagen en dan is de nieuwe release verkrijgbaar. Tijdens de countdown, laat het MFT Design Team verschillende projecten zien met alle nieuwe producten. De release zal verkrijgbaar zijn op 12 januari om 10:00 am EST (in Nederland op 12 januari om 16:00).

Today we are showcasing a new set by Birdie Brown called Hug it Out, i combined the fun set together with the Previous Free For $60 the Sending Hugs Die-Namics.

Vandaag laten we een nieuwe set zien van Birdie Brown genaamd Hug it Out, ik combineerde de set samen met de laatste Free for $60 de Sending Hugs Die-Namics.

Out of Smooth White cardstock i cut a rectangle and added some Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Squeezed Lemonade to the panel. Splattered some water and Picked Raspberry Mixed with water and added it to a topfold kraft cardbase. Uit Smooth White cardstock stanste ik een rechthoek en voegde hier Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick en Squeezed Lemonade aan toe. Spetterde wat water en Picked Raspberry met water aan toe en plakte het op een topfold kraft basiskaart.

Cut two slimline grass borders out of Limelight and added some Mowed Lawn Distress ink. Added the grass to the panel using different heights of foamtape. Cut the clouds out of Smooth White added some Worn Lipstick and added it to the panel. Stanste twee slimline gras randen uit Limelight en bewerkte dit met Mowed Lawn Distress inkt. Plakte de gras randen op het paneel met verschillende hoogtes foamtape. Stanste de wolken uit Smooth White en voegde wat Worn Lipstick toe en plakte het op de kaart.

Stamped the images, colored them up using my Copic Markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Cut the Sending you Hugs Die-Namics out of Smooth White and added everything on the base card. Added some Wink of stella to the flowers and hearts. Stempelde de afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Stanste de Sending you Hugs Die-Namics uit Smooth White en plakte alles op de basiskaart. Op de bloemen en harten voegde ik wat wink of stella toe.

Wij passen Peer-fect bij elkaar.

 Hallo allemaal,

Daar was ik weer met een kaartje dat ik maakte naar aanleiding van mijn gastdesign bij Carlijn Design! Ditmaal ging ik aan de slag met de leuke peertjes in de set je kunt ze helemaal maken zoals je wilt en ik maakte en er een verliefd setje van.

Eerst maakte ik een wit recthoek van Smooth White cardstock, uit dezelfde kleur cardstock stanste ik het hart en bewerkte dit met Peacock Feathers en Salty Ocean Distress inkt. Spetterde er wat water en witte verf op en plakte dit op de witte rechthoek.  Stempelde de tekst onder op de kaart in het midden met Versafine Onix black.

Voor mijn peertje stanste ik de de grootste twee maten uit de Snijmallen Avocado en Peer. Ook de gezichtjes en de zaden komen uit de Avocado en Peer stempel. Voor de overige onderdelen gebruikte ik de Avocado en Peer Snijmallen Groot.

De peertjes maakte ik op kleur met Squeezed Lemonade, Crushed Olive en Peeled Paint Distress inkt en spetterde ten slotte wat water. Stanste de losse onderdelen uit Milk Chocolate cardstock, de blaadjes uit Limelight en bewerkte dit met Peeled Paint. Maakte de peren compleet en bracht wat detail aan met een gelpen.

Sneed een Kraft cardstock topfold basiskaart, achter de witte rechthoek plakte ik twee strips met het Black & White striped paper pad en dit ging in zijn geheel op de Kraft kaart. Werkte het geheel af met verschillende maten clear sequins.

Ik vond dat de peren nog wat nodig hadden en stanste twee hartjes uit snijmallen Valentijn plakte deze op de peren en bewerkte deze met glossy accent.
