Kraftin' Kimmie - Inspirational Wednesday

Hello all,

Today it is my turn again to inspire you on the Kraftin' Kimmie blog this Wednesday with a card by me. I decided to play with one of set by artist Sabrina van Vloten You're a Squeak-heart. And because totday turns out to be my birthday i decided to make a birthday card. Vandaag is het mijn beurt om jullie te inspireren op het blog van Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. Ik besloot een van stempels van Sabrina van Vloten te gebruiken - You're a Squeak-heart. Daarnaast is het vandaag ook nog eens mijn verjaardag dus maakte ik een verjaardagskaart. Hier is wat ik bedacht heb.

I cut a topfold card 10,5 x 13,5. I masked of the bottom 2,5 cm and added some Stormy Sky Distress ink, splattered some water. Stamped the sentiment on top op the card. Sneed een topfold kaart 10,5 x 13,5. Maskeerde de onderkant 2,5 cm en bracht wat Stormy Sky Distress inkt aan. Spetterde wat water en stempelde de tekst aan de bovenzijde van de kaart.

Die cut all the elements using different colors of cardstock, die cut some holes in the light yellow pie front and added some Morning Marigold. Glued everything on the cardbase and heat embost another sentiment on some gray cardstock. Stanste alle onderdelen voor de taart uit verschillende kleuren cardstock. Uit het lichte gele taart gedeelte stanste ik rondjes en bewerkte het met Morning Marigold. Heat emboste nog een tekst op een grijs stuk cardstock.

Stamped all the images using Wicked Black, colored them up with my Copic markers and cut them using my Brother Scan & Cut. Added the mouses to the cake and last i cut the numbers of my age.. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen met Wicked Black, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en sneed ze uit met mijn Brother Scan & Cut. Plaatste de muizen op de taart en stanste de nummers van mijn leeftijd..

HB2U - Clean and Simple birthday cards

Yesterday evening i played with my My Favorite Things stamps again and this time i made two cards, using one layout. The layout is the current sketch by CAS(E) this Sketch challenge Gisterenavond pakte ik mijn stempels van My Favorite Things er nog even bij en maakte twee kaarten met één layout. De layout is de lopende schets van het CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge blog.

 I cut a topfold card 10,5 x 13, added the clouds on both of the cards using Tumbled Glass Distress oxide ink. Sneed een topfold kaart 10,5 x 13 en bracht op beide kaarten wolken aan met Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide.

 Stamped both images and colored them up using my Copic Markers. Fussy Cut them by hand. Stempelde beide afbeeldingen en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic Markers. Knipte ze uit met een schaar.

On the balloons i stamped the HB2U sentiment and added some detail using a white gel pen. Op de ballonen stempelde ik de tekst HB2U en bracht wat extra detail aan met een witte gelpen.

My Favorite Things - Color Challenge #139

Hello all!

Today i'm here with a new Color Challenge by My Favorite Things. This week i decided to Work ahead a bit and make a Christmas Card. Vandaag ben ik er met een nieuwe kleuren challenge van My Favorite Things. Deze week besloot ik wat vooruit te werken en een kerstkaart te maken.

For my base a cut a Smooth White Topfold card 10,5 x 13,5. I cut a Blue Yonder rectangle in the same seize and added the pinetrees using the stencil and Picket Fence Distress Ink. Voor de basis sneed ik een topfold kaart 10,5 x 13,5. Uit Blue Yonder sneed ik rechthoek in dezelfde maat en bewerkte dit met een stencil en Picket Fence Distress inkt.

 Out of Smooth White cardstock i cut a snow border, and three times the word "Believe". Cut the same word out of Cement Grey and glued them together. Die cut the heart out of Tangy Orange cardstock and added a layer of Glossy Accent on the whole word. Uit Smooth White cardstock stamste ik een sneeuwrand en drie keer het woord "Believe". Uit Cement Grey cardstock stanste ik nogmaals het woord en plakte het op elkaar. Stanste het hartje uit Tangy Orange cardstock en bewerkte het hele woord met Glossy Accent.

On Tangy Orange cardstock i heat embost the sentiment and cut it using a banner die. Op Tangy Orange cardstock heat emboste ik de tekst en stanste het uit met een banner stans.

With Extreme Black i stamped the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. I added a layer of Liqued Applicator and heat set that to make it fluffy. Met Extreme Black inkt stempelde ik de afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze met bijbehorende stansen. Bracht op de mutsen een laagje Liqued Applicator aan en verwarmde dit zodat het fluffy werd.

Big Announcement *does a happy dance*

I'm so, so, so, so super proud and excited to share with you today that as of this month i'm one of the new members of the My Favorite Things Designteam! I am so honored to be joining them and beyond excited! (is it noticeble ;)) Ik ben zo super duber uber trost en enthousiast om met jullie te delen dat ik vanaf deze maand deel mag nemen aan het team van My Favorite Things! Ik ben zo vereerd dat ze mij in het team van dit hele gave merk wilde hebben. Ik doe nog bijna iedere dag een happydance sinds ze mij benaderde. 

Ofcourse a card using a few of there amazing products could not be missing on this post so here you go! Uiteraard mocht een voorbeeld kaart met een aantal van hun geweldige producten niet ontbreken, dus hier is hij dan.

The base of my card is a topfold card 10 x 13 i glued a designpaper panel on to it in the same seize. De basis of de kaart is een topfold kaart 10 x 13, ik plakte op de voorzijde designpapier in dezelfde maat.

Out of Smooth White cardstock i cut a white panel 9,5 x 12,5 and cut the shape out of the middle of the card. On a panel i ink the clouds using Distress ink. I cut some clouds using Smooth with and glue the cloud behind the panel using foamtape. Then i glue the clouds behind it using another layer of foamtape to get some dimension. Uit Smooth White cardstock snijd ik een rechthoek 9,5 x 12,5 en stans de vorm uit het paneel. Uit hetzelfde cardstock stans ik een wolk en plak dit achter de rechthoek met 3-d tape. Maak de wolken met Distress inkt op een stuk cardstock en plak dit daar weer achter met nog een laag 3-d tape.

I stamp the images using my Extreme black and color them in using my Copic Markers, cut them using the matching Die-Namics. On the horn of the unicorn i add some golden stickles. On the wings and rainbow i add a layer Wink of Stella. Stempel de afbeeldingen met Extreme black en kleur ze in met mijn Copic Markers, stans ze uit met bijbehorende stansen. Op de hoorn van de eenhoorn doe ik wat gouden stickles en op de vleugels doe ik een laagje wink of stella.

Stamp the sentiment on some Black Licorice cardstock and heat embos it with golden embossing powder. Cut it using a banner die and add it to the panel. Stempel de tekst op Black Licorice cardstock en heat embos het met goud embossingpoeder. Stans het uit met een banner stans en voeg het toe.

Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge - Party Animals

Today it's Saturday wich means a new challenge started over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog, today the theme is make a card or project with the theme Party Animals. For my project i cut a white topfold base card seize 10,5 x 13,5. Added some Salty Ocean ink to the bottom and for the rest i added some clouds using the Krafty Scenery Stencil. Die cut the grass and added some Morning Mariegold for some detail. Die cut the sand and tree and added some Walnut Stain Distress ink and Mossy Meadow and glued eveything on the card. Voor mijn kaart vandaag sneed ik een witte topfold kaart 10,5 x 13,5. Bewerkte de voorkant met Salty Ocean Distress ink en voor de rest gebruikte ik het Krafty Scenery Stencil om wolken te maken. Stanste het gras bewerkte dit met Morning Mariegold. Stanste het zand en de boom en bewerkte deze met Mossy Meadow en Walnut Stain Distress inkt.

Heat embost the sentiment on some black cardstock, cut it out using a banner die. I used the same banner die on some designpaper and glued them together. Added some Krafty Basics Dots for a final touch. Heat emboste de tekst op zwart cardstock, stanste het uit met een banner stans. Gebruikte de zelfde stans om een banner te stansen uit designpapier en plakte ze op elkaar. Voegde wat Krafty Basiscs Dots toe om het geheel af te maken.

March release and krafty hop!

Hello everyone!

And the day has come that the March Release by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps is available! Go quickly to the shop and make sure to buy all of our new goodies! Vanaf vandaag zijn de maart release producten van Kraftin' Kimmie stamps te koop, welke ga jij halen?

For my Hop project i decided to use the Party Piggies in my agenda. To be more specific on on the day it is my birthday April 15th. I masked of the bottom and added a layer of Salty Sea. Added another layer using the Confettie Stencil. Masked of the top part and added a layer of Morning Marigold. Voor mijn hop project besloot ik mijn agenda te pimpen en dan om precies te zijn mijn verjaardag 15 april. Ik maskeerde de onderkant en bracht een laag Salty Sea aan, plaatste het confetti stencil en bracht nog een laag aan. Maskeerde dit alles en bracht een laag Morning Marigold aan.

Stamped the images using Wicked Black , colored them up using my Copic Markers and cut them out using the Scan & Cut Machine. Stamped the sentiment using Wicked Black again and scratched your and made it my. Stempelde de varkens met Wicked Black, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en sneed ze uit met de Scan & Cut machine. Stempelde de tekst met Wicked black en haalde "your" door en maakte er "my" van.

Krafty Peeks day 3 : Zoodles + a challenge

Welcome to day Three of the March Krafty peeks by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. It's the last day because of tomorrow all the goodies will be available in store. Today we have a really versatile set by artist Neda called Zoodles. Hallo allemaal, welkom bij dag drie van de maart release week van Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. Vandaag is de laatste dag want... morgen zijn alle nieuwe producten te koop! Vandaag een set van artiest Neda; Zoodles

This new set contains a few different images of animals and  several matching sentiments it is a great set for any of your card making or craft projects. Deze set heeft verschillende lieve afbeeldingen van dieren. Uiteraard zitten er weer verschillende passende teksten bij.

For my card i decided to make a slimline card. I cut a piece of grey cardstock 6 x 8 inch and scored at 3 inch. Out of three different colors of green cardstock i die cut the leaves and glued them on the border of card. Ik besloot voor een slimline kaart te gaan en sneed een stuk grijs cardstock 6 x 8 inch en rilde het op 3 inch. Uit drie verschillende kleuren groen cardstock stanste ik de bladeren en plakte dit rondom op de kaart.

Out of white cardstock i die cut the letters and give them a bit of detail using a black fineliner. Heat embost the sentiment on some grey cardstock and cut it out using a banner die. Uit wit cardstock stanste ik de letters en gaf ze wat detail door strepen aan te brengen met een fineliner. Heat emboste het sentiment op grijs cardstock en stanste het uit met een banner stans.

Stamped all the images using Wicked Black, colored them up using my Copic Markers and cut them out by hand. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen met Wicked Black, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en knipte ze uit.
