My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #628

Today I am back again with a new Sketch Challenge by My Favorite Things. This week I decided to make a birthday card. Vandaag ben ik er weer met een nieuwe schets challenge van My Favorite Things. Deze keer maakte ik een verjaardags kaart

With the sketch of this week I first figured that I wanted a card with a border, than all of a sudden a thought that the sketch would be excellent to use with the A2 Rectangle Frames Die-Namics. The frame would be the border in a base card and I was aible to create a scene into it.

Met de schets van deze week, had ik eerst bedacht om de rand iets groter te maken om het midden heen. Toen bedacht ik ineens dat deze schets super geschikt is met de A2 Rectangle Frames Die-Namics. Het frame zit op een basiskaart daarmee heb je het randje en ik kon zo een leuke scene in de border maken.

First I cut a Princess Pink rectangle and masked off the outside. Inkblended Victiorian Velvet en Seedles Preserve Distress Oxide ink and splattered water and some gold paint. Die cut the Birch Trees Cover Up Die-Namics and adhered it in the middle of the Princess Pink rectangle. Sneed een Princess Pink recthhoek en maskeerde de randen. Inktblende Victorian Velvet en Seedles Preserve Distress Oxide ink en spetterde water and gouden verf. Stanste de Birch Trees Cover Up Die-Namics en plakte dit in het midden van de roze rechthoek.

Adhered the rectangle on a sidefold Smooth White base card. Out of Limelight I cut the Stitched Rolling Clouds Die-Namics and the Slimline Grassy Hills Die-Namics and inkblended some Mowed Lawn onto it. Adhered both on the card and the Smooth with border went on top of it. Plakte de rechthoek op een sidefold Smooth White basiskaart. Uit Limelight stanste ik de Stitched Rolling Clouds Die-Namics en de Slimeline Grassy Hills Die-Namics en inktblende deze met Mowed Lawn. Plakte beide op de kaart en daarna ging het Smooth White frame eroverheen.

Using different colors of cardstock and inks I made the house using the Gnome Place Like Home Die-Namics. Stamped the images using the Fairy Special and Fairy Best Friends stamps and there matching dies. Colored them up and added them to the cardbase. Finished the card of heat embossing the sentiment on some Princess Pink and trimmed it down to a banner. Uit verschillende kleuren cardstock en met inkten maakte ik het huis met de Gnome Place Like Home Die-Namics. Stempelde de afbeeldingen van de Fairy Special en Fairy Best Friends, kleurde ze in en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Plakte ze op de kaart en werkte de kaart af door de tekst te heat embossen op Princess Pink en het tot een banner te snijden.

Create a Smile Stamps - Guestdesigner

Today i'm pleased to be guestdesigning for the Create a Smile Stamps challenge blog. Two weeks ago i was picked as a winner and i was asked to be a guest designer for this challenge. I always say yes so did I for this one. Vandaag mag ik guestdesigner zijn voor Create a Smile Stamps challenge blog. Twee weken geleden was ik als winnaar uitgekozen en werd ik gevraagd als gastdesigner. Ik zeg nooit nee dus ook deze keer niet.

This week we challenge you to create a card with a sketch. You have to use atleast one Create a Smile product as a focal point and you can play along! If you do not own anything you can always try to create something with one of there Freebies.

Deze week dagen we je uit om een project te maken met bovenstaande schets. Je kunt meedoen zolang je er maar voor zorgt dat een Create a Smile product de hoofdrol heeft. Ben je nu nog niet in het bezit van een van deze leuke producten dan kun je altijd kijken of je iets kunt maken met een van deze Freebies.

For this challenge a cut a white base card and adhered some yellow pattern paper onto it. Cut a white rectangle and chopped off the cornors. Die cut a small banner out off black & white striped pattern paper and adhered that behind the white rectangle. Added the panel with foamtape onto the base card.

Voor deze challenge sneed ik een witte basiskaart en plakte hier geel designpapier op. Sneed een witte rechthoek en chopte hier de hoeken vanaf. Sneed een banner uit het black & white gestreepte designpapier en plakte dit achter de rechthoek. Het geheel ging met foamtape op de basiskaart.

Stamped, colored and cut the images. Heat set the sentiment on some black cardstock and trimmed it to a small banner. Adhered everything onto the card using different heights of foam tape. Stempelde, kleurde en knipte de afbeeldingen. Heat emboste de tekst op zwart cardstock en sneed het tot een banner. Plakte alles op de kaart met verschillende hoogte foamtape.

Studio Light - Valentine, I'm Diggin' It

Hier is mijn wekelijkse post voor Studio Light weer. Deze keer maakte ik met de Sweet Stories producten een interactieve kaart in combinatie met de Magic Picture Changer van Lawn Fawn. I'm back with my weekly post for Studio Light. This time around I decided on making a Interactive Valentine card using a few of the Sweet Stories products in combination with the Magic Picture Changer by Lawn Fawn.

Ik begon met de Picture Changer. Stempelde de afbeeldingen, maskeerde ze en inkte de achtergrond met het gras stencil en de achtergrond met Distress inkten. Kleurde alles in met mijn Copic markers en stanste het met de Picture Changer daarna uit en maakte het tot één geheel.

First I made the Picture Changer. Stamped the images, masked them off and inked up the background using a grass mask and Distress inks. Colored it up using my Copic markers and cut them using the Picture Changer dies. Assembled the interactive part.

Inkten Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold en Spiced Marmelade op een stuk wit cardstock en spetterde met water en Spiced Marmelade. Plakte dit op een witte kaart. Stanste de voorkant van de Picture Changer en inkten die in dezelfde kleuren als de Picture Changer zelf.

Inkt up the background using Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold and Spice Marmelade on some white cardstock. Splattered water and Spiced Marmelade and adhered it onto a base card. Die cut the front of the Picture Changer and inked them in the same colors as the Picture Changers itself.

Inkte de grond met Ground Espresso en Vintage Photo en stanste dit uit. Heat emboste de teksten op het grond en op roze cardstock en knipte de roze uit. Plakte alles op de kaart en stempelde alle andere stempels.

Inked up the ground using Ground Espresso and Vintage Photo and die cut it. Heat set the sentiments on the ground and on some pink cardstock and cut out the pink sentiment. Adhered everything I made so far onto the card and stamped all the other images.

Stanste alle losse afbeeldingen uit en plakte ze op de kaart. Bewerkte de bloemen nog met wat Wink of Stella. Die cut all the images and adhered them onto the card. Added some wink of Stella to the flowers for an extra detail.

Studio Light - You are my Valentine

Hallo Allemaal,

Hier is mijn wekelijkse post voor Studio Light weer. Deze keer maakte ik met de Sweet Stories producten een valentijn shaker kaart. I'm back with my weekly post for Studio Light. This time around I decided on making a Valentine Shaker card using a few of the Sweet Stories products.

Stanste uit Kraft de geschubte basis twee keer. Rilde er een op de tweede geschupte rand en plakte het daar vast op de andere Kraft basis. Stanste een witte rechthoek en sneed een rechthoek 0,5 cm kleiner. Inktblende deze met Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold en Abondoned Coral.

Out of Kraft cardstock I die cut the base twice. Scored at the second sculped border and adhered it on the smallest fold to the other base. Die cut a white rectangle and cut one 0,5 cm smaller. Inkblended the colors Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold and Abondoned Coral.

Stanste wat gras en inktblende dit met Peeled Paint. Inkblende het water met Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean en Blueprint Sketch. Spetterde het water en stanste het uit. Bepaalde wat het midden was en stanste daar het hart uit.

Die cut the grass and inkblended it with Peeled Paint. Inktblended the water with Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Bleuprint Sketch. Splattered some water and die cut it. Die cut the heart out off the middle of the inkblended rectangle.

Stempelde de tekst op de kaart en plakte de blister achter de geinkte achtergrond. Plakte het uitgestanste hart op de witte basis, vulde de shaker en plakte het geheel dicht. Heat emboste de teksten op roze cardstock en vellum. Knipte of stanste beide uit.

Stamped the sentiment onto the base, adhered the bliser behind the inked background. Adhered the die cut heart onto the white rectangle, filled up the shaker and closed it by adding the inkblended background onto the white rectangle. Heat set the sentiment on pink and vellum and cut them by hand or into a speechbubble.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende stansen. Bracht hier en daar wat witte gelpen details aan. Stempelde als laatste de vliegjes op de kaart om de achtergrond wat meer te vullen. Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and die cut them using the matching dies. Added a few white gelpen details to the card. Finished the card off by adding some flies in the air.

My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #627

 Hello all!

Today I am back again with a new Sketch Challenge by My Favorite Things. This week I decided to make aClean and Simple card. Vandaag ben ik er weer met een nieuwe schets challenge van My Favorite Things. Deze keer maakte ik een Clean en Simpel kaart

For this weeks sketch I decided to stick with the layout I only added a few images out of the Bear Hugs Stamp set and enemal dots to finish the card off.

Voor mijn schets van vandaag bleef ik bij de layout. Ik voegde alleen wat afbeeldingen uit de Bear Hugs stempel en enamel dots toe om de kaart compleet te maken.

Cut a Smooth White topfold basecard. Added strips of Sno Cone, Summer Splash and Caribbean Sea to the base to follow the sketch. Stamped and colored them images, die cut them using the Bear Hugs Die-namics.

Sneed een Smooth White topfold basiskaart. Sneed stroken uit Sno Cone, Summer Splash en Caribbean Sea voor de basis layout. Stempelde en kleurde de afbeeldingen, stannste ze daarna uit met de Bear Hugs Die-Namics.

Adhered them onto the card using foamtape. Heat set the sentiment out of the Itty Bitty Baby on some Black Licorice and trimmed it down using the Itty Bitty Strips Die-Namics. Finished the card of using different colors of enamel dots. Plakte de afbeeldingen op de kaart met foamtape. Heat emboste de tekst van de Itty Bitty Baby op Black Licorice en stanste het uit met de Itty Bitty Strips Die-Namics. Werkte de kaart af met verschillende kleuren enamel dots.

Bear - E57, E55, E53, E51, E50/ R20, R00, R000/ N7, N5, N3

Teal - BG18, BG15, BG13, BG11

My Favorite Things - Mixtape Card Kit Release

Watch your budget but have fun shopping! De dag is aangebroken dat de Mixtape Card Kit release van My Favorite Things verkrijgbaar is! En wat vond je ervan schitterend toch? For my inspiration card of today I decided to mix it around a bit and make a male birthday card using the Mixtape Sentiments together with the Cassette Tape Die-Namics.

Voor mijn inspiratie kaart van vandaag besloot ik de boel een beetje te mixen en maakte een mannen verjaardag kaart met de Mixtape Sentiments en de Cassette Tape Die-Namics.

First off I cut all the elements for the mixtapes. Then assembled them, cut a Cement Gray rectangle and decided were I wanted the mixtape to be and were the sentiments were going. Stamped the sentiment out of the Mixtape Sentiments on the grey card. Eerst stanste ik alle onderdelen van de cassettes. Plakte ze op elkaar en sneed een Cement Gray basisrechthoek. Besloot waar ik de cassettes wilde hebben en stempelde de tekst van de Mixtape Sentiments op het grijze cardstock.

Cut a Smooth White basecard and added some strips of cardstock in the same colors as the mixtapes. Adhered the gray panel onto the white base. Sneed een Smooth White basiskaart en plakte hier een aantal strips cardstock in dezelfde kleuren als de cassettes. Plakte daarna de grijze rechthoek op.

Glued the mixtapes on the cardbase and trimmed off the exces. Heat set the sentiment out of the Mixtapes Messages and trimmed it to a banner. Adhered it to the panel, cut the wires of the Portable Jams Die-Namics and adhered them to the panel. Plakte de cassettes op de basiskaart en sneed het overhangende af. Heat emboste de tekst uit de Mixtapes Messages op zwart cardstock en stanste het tot een banner. Plakte het op de kaart, stanste de draden van de Portable Jams Die-Namics en plakte deze als laatste op.

My Favorite Things - Mixtape Card Kit Countdown Day 1

 Hello all,

Welcome to day one of the Januari Card Kit Release countdown by My Favorite Things. Lucky the wait on the Card kit Release is only short and you can have a shopping spree already Tuesday November 29th at 10:00 am EST. Welkom bij dag een van de Januari Card Kit Release countdown van My Favorite Things. Gelukkig hoef je maar even te wachten want dinsdag is de card kit al beschikbaar om 16:00!

The Card Kit contains Mixtape Sentiments Stamp Set,

Take Shape Stamp Set, Cassette Tape Die-namics and one of each of the following colors; Frosted Black Vellum, Brushed Silver, Clear Acetate, Heavyweight Vellum, Smooth White, Ripe Raspberry, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Limelight, Summer Splash, Cornflower, Boysenberry, Cement Gray, Black Licorice. De Card Kit bestaat uit de Mixtape Sentiments Stamp Set, Take Shape Stamp Set, Cassete Tape Die-Namics en één van de volgende kleuren cardstock; Frosted Black Vellum, Brushed Silver, Clear Acetate, Heavyweight Vellum, Smooth White, Ripe Raspberry, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Limelight, Summer Splash, Cornflower, Boysenberry, Cement Gray, Black Licorice.

Offourse the supplies are sold separately, if you are only interested in a specific item. Beside the card kit there are two more matching products the Mixtape Messages Sentiment Stamp and the Portable Jams Die-Namics. Uiteraard zijn de producten ook los te koop, wanneer je alleen geïnteresseerd bent in één van de producten.  Naast de card kit brengt MFT ook nog twee extra producten uit die perfect passen bij de cardkit namelijk de Mixtape Messages Sentiment Stamp en the Portable Jams Die-Namics.

For my card I created a background using some MFT inks together with the Take Shape stamp set. Adhered it onto a topfold Cement Gray cardbase. Die cut all the elements of the Cassette Tape and Portable Jams Die-Namics out of Smooth White, Lemon Drop, Black Licorice and Cement Gray cardstock.

Voor mijn kaart maakte ik als eerste de achtergrond, dit deed ik door gebruik te maken van MFT inkten en de Take Shape Stempel. Plakte de achtergrond op een Cement Gray basiskaart. Stanste alle elementen van de Cassette Tape en Portable Jams Die-Namics uit  Smooth White, Lemon Drop, Black Licorice and Cement Gray cardstock.

Assembeld all the elements and stamped and heat embost the sentiments using the stamps out of the Mixtape Sentiments and the Mixtape Messages. Ahered all the elements onto the card and for some details I added some White gelpen touches. Plakte alle elementen in elkaar en stempelde / heat emboste de teksten van de Mixtape Sentiments en Mixtape Messages. Plakte alles op de kaart en bracht nog wat witte gelpen details aan.
