My Favorite Things - March Product Launch

 Hello all,

It’s time for the My Favorite Things March product launch! All new products are available right now! The MFT design team is sharing projects created with the new stuff. You can find loads of inspiration! Het is tijd voor de My Favorite Things maart product lancering. Alle nieuwe producten zijn vanaf nu verkrijgbaar! Het MFT design team deelt ook vandaag weer een lading aan inspiratie.

And what are you buying? For more inspiration I decided on making a card using the new stamp called Best Friends in the Galaxy. I decided to take out my box card products and make a box card using this fun set.

Wat is er in jouw mandje beland? Voor meer inspiratie maakte ik een kaart met de nieuwe stempel Best Friends in the Galaxy. Ik besloot mijn box kaart producten weer eens uit de kast te halen.

Die cut the Shadow Box Die-Namics out of Black Licorice cardstock and adhered it together. Die cut two clouds using the Outside the Box Cloud Die-Namics out of Smooth white and a border using Outside the Box Snow Drifts Die-Namics. Inked the last one up using Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet, splattered some Villanious Potion.

Stanste de Shadow Box Die-Namics uit Black Licorice cardstock en plakte het tot een box. Stanste twee wolken met de Outside the Box Cloud Die-Namics en wit cardstock en een rand met de Outside the Box Snow Drifts Die-Namics. Inkte de laatste met Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet en spetterde wat Villanious Potion.

Inked up the background using Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. Splattered some white paint and adhered it onto the back of the box. Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut the using the Best Friends in the Galaxy Die-Namics adhered the box together afterwards. Inkte de achtergrond met Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire en Black soot. Spetterde wat witte verf op de achterzijde van de box. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen en kleurde deze in met mijn Copic markers, stanste ze uit met de Best Friends in the Galaxy Die-Namics en plakte alles in elkaar.

Yellow - Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11

Teal - BG15, BG13, BG11, BG10

My Favorite Things November Release Countdown Day 5

 Hello all,

It’s time for the My FavoriteThings November release countdown! During the countdown, the MFT Design Team is sharing lots of projects featuring all of the new products. The new release will officially be available on November 9th at 10:00 am EST (= Europe: november 9th at 4:00 pm CET). Het is tijd voor de My Favorite Things november release countdown! Nog 5 dagen en dan is de nieuwe release verkrijgbaar. Tijdens de countdown, laat het MFT Design Team verschillende projecten zien met alle nieuwe producten. De release zal verkrijgbaar zijn op 9 november om 10:00 am EST (in Nederland op 9 november om 16:00).

Yay the new release countdown starts today! And you know what this release will be all about Christmas / Winter! So buckle up and enjoy all the new products. For today's inspiration card I decided on making a pop up box using the new Mini Slimline Outside the Box Level Up Die-Namics together with the Cozy Winter Wishes.

Yay de nieuwe release countdown starts vandaag! En het leuke aan deze release is dat het allemaal draait om kerst / winter! Dus zet je schrap en laat je inspireren door de nieuwe producten. Voor mijn kaart van vandaag besloot ik een pop up boc kaart te maken met de nieuwe Mini Slimline Outside The box Level Up Die-Namics samen met de Cozy Winter Wishes.

First of i made the box itself. I Die cut the outside panels and the Mini Slimline Outside the Box Snowdrifts out of Smooth white. Heat set the sentiment and the snow on some Gravel Grey Cardstock and die cut them using the inner dies from the set. Assembled the box and moved on to the images.

Ik maakte eerst de box zelf. Stanste de buitenkanten en het sneeuw uit Smooth White cardstock. Heat emboste de tekst en de sneeuw op Gravel Grey cardstock en stanste ze uit met de binnenste stansen. Plakte de box in elkaar en ging verder met de afbeeldingen.

Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic Markers and die cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Stamped the trees using gravel Grey and Eiffel Tower, cut them using the matching Dies and assembled the card. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende stansen. Stempelde de bomen met Gravel Grey en Eiffel Tower en stanste deze ook uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Plakte alles op de box zodat het een geheel werd.

Red - R59, R29, R27, R24

Grey - C5, C3, C1

White - C5, C3, C1, C00, 0

Black - N8, N6, N4

My Favorite Things - Vault Release

 Hello all,

As of now the Vault release by My Favorite Things is avaible! What's on your wishlist? Wat staat er op je verlanglijst? Ga snel naar shop en ga lekker winkelen, vergeet je niet langs de andere designteam leden te hoppen voor nog meer inspiratie!

So what do you think? Was this a awesome vault release or what? I totally loved it and even got some sets i did not own yet! So i had great fun creating. For today's card i made a fun pop up card using the Beast Friends.

Wat vinden jullie van deze Vault Release? Was hij tof of wat? Ik vind hem in ieder geval helemaal geweldig en er zaten zelfs een aantal sets in die ik zelf nog niet had, dus ik had een heerlijke tijd om kaarten te maken. Voor de pop up kaart van vandaag gebruikte ik de Beast Friends.

So I die cut all the outside elements using Smooth White. I inkblended the top part using Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Platina, Distress Oxide. Splattered some water and ink and cut it. Die cut the snow and mountains out of Smooth White and added a layer of Cracked Pistashio Oxide ink on the snow.

Stanste alle buiten onderdelen uit Smooth White. Inktblende het bovenste gedeelte met Peacock Feathers en Salvaged Platina Distress Oxide inkt. Spetterde water en witte verf en stanste het uit. Stanste de bergen en sneeuw uit Smooth White en gaf de sneeuw een laagje Cracked Pistahio Oxide inkt.

Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Heat set the sentiment on some Kraft cardstock and cut it using the inner die. Assembled my card and it was all done! Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Heat emboste de tekst op Kraft cardstock en stanste het uit met de binnen stans. Plakte de box in elkaar en klaar was de kaart.

My Favorite Things May Release Countdown Day 2

 Hello all!

The release day of the May release by My Favorite Things is getting closer! It's still packed full of new stuff so make sure you don't miss anything. Today we have the cutest images that are building a threehouse together, so i decided to make a box card using these sweet images.

Vandaag hebben we de liefste afbeeldingen van dieren die samen een boomhut bouwen, ik besloot met deze set een box kaart te maken.

So i die cut all the outside elements out of Smooth White, the sides using Woodgrain Whimsy paper pad, the background out of Summer Splash, Grass out of Sour Apple and the water is out of Blue Yonder. I assembled the box and heat embost the sentiment on some kraft cardstock.

Stanste alle onderdelen uit Smooth White, de buitenkanten van Woodgrain Whimsy paper pad, de achtergrond uit Summer Splash, gras van Sour Apple en het water uit Blue Yonder. Plakte de box in elkaar en heat emboste de tekst op kraft cardstock.

Stamped all the images, colored them up and die cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Added the images to the box card using some acetate. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Plakte alle afbeeldingen op de box kaart met acetate.

My Favorite Things - Outside the Box Challenge

Hello all,

Today a new Outside the Box challenge has started over at the blog of My Favorite Things! Every four weeks we challenge you to create a Pop-Up box using any of the My Favorite Things Pop up Die-Namics in combination with a theme. This months theme is; The great outdoors! Vandaag start een nieuwe Outside the Box challenge op het blog van My Favorite Things! Iedere vier weken start er een nieuwe Pop-Up box challenge waarbij we vragen dat je een kaart maakt met een specifiek thema en gebruik maakt van de Pop-Up Die-Namics producten. Het thema van deze maand is; The great outdoors!

With the theme you can go every route, camping, hiking, fishing, swimming or just random nature. That is what i thought of for my box card and played along.

Met het thema kun je alle kanten op; camperen, wandelen, vissen, zwemmen of gewoon de natuur zelf. Met dat laatste in gedachte maakte ik mijn kaart.

Out of Kraft cardstock i cut the Low Profile addon twice and the large background that comes with the Outside the box Die-Namics. Cut smaller pieces of Smooth White and yet more smaller pieces out of Pattern Paper. Die cut the inner piece of the Outside the box Die-Namics out of Smooth White and added some clouds. Cut a strip of Kraft and added this to the cloud panel. Uit kraft papier stanste ik het Low Profile addon twee keer en één keer de grote achtergrond uit de Outside the box Die-Namics. Stanste kleinere strips Smooth White en nog een slag kleiner designpapier. Stanste het binnen gedeelte van de Outside the box Die-Namics uit Smooth White en bracht er wat wolken op aan. Stanste een strip "zand" uit kraft en plakte dit op de wolken.

Die cut the waves out of Summer Splash using the Outside the box waves and one "sand" piece out of Kraft using the Outside the box snowdrifts. Adhered the box together to one whole box. Stanste de golven uit Summer Splash cardstock met de Outside the box waves en een keer "zand" uit Kraft cardstock met de Outside the box Snowdrifts. Plakte alles aan en op elkaar en maakte het tot een geheel.  

Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Adhered them on to the box and stamped the sentiment on some Smooth White. Cut it using a banner Die-Namcis and added it to the box. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Plakte alles op de box en stempelde de tekst op Smooth White. Stanste het met een banner die en plakte het op de voorzijde op de box.

Brown - E37, E35, E33, E31

Green - YG67, YG63, YG03
