One day closer to the June release by My Favorite Things! Only four more days to go until the new release will be avaible! Dag 4 van de My Favorite Things juni release countdown is hier, dat betekend dat het nu nog maar vier dagen duurt voordat de nieuwe release verkrijgbaar is!
Today we are showcasing the newest set by artist Yan called; Pig Time Fun. Totally love the navy theme so I could not resist making a slimline card using this fun set. I combined the set with a few other products by My Favorite Things.
Vandaag laten we de nieuwste set van artiest Yan zien genaamd; Pig Time Fun. Ik ben helemaal weg van het marine thema dus ik kon het niet laten om met deze set een slimline kaart te maken. Voor de kaart gebruikte ik naast de nieuwe set verschillende andere producten van My Favorite Things.
First off I cut two rectangles using the Slimline Starter Die-Namics, a Smooth White one and one out of wood specialty paper. Trimmed the wood paper down to four strips of 1/4 inch and inkblended it using Walnut Stain Distress ink. Masked of the of the Smooth White panel and inkblended Mermaid Lagoon and some Chipped Sapphire for the sea. Using the Slimline Cloud Edges Stencil and Salty Ocean Distress ink I made the sky. Begon met het stansen van twee rechthoeken met de Slimline Starter Die-Namics, een Smooth White rechthoek en één uit speciaal houtnerf papier. Sneed van het speciale papier vier stroken van 1/4 inch en bewerkte dit met Walnut Stain Distress inkt. Maskeerde de bovenkant af en maakte de zee met Mermaid Lagoon en Chipped Sapphire Distress inkt. Met de het Slimline Cloud Edges Stencil en Salty Ocean Distress inkt maakte ik de lucht.
Die cut the Garden Gate Die-Namics five times out of the specialty paper, trimmed them down to 1 1/4 inch and inkblended them with Walnut Stain. Glued the deck and the fence on the background using foam tape. Made the lifebuoy out of Red Hot, Smooth White and added some white twine for the rope. Adhered the buoy to the fence with a Gravel Gray "nail". Stanste de Garden Gate Die-Namics vijf keer uit speciaal papier, sneed ze tot 1 1/4 inch kort en bewerkte ook deze met Walnut Stain. Plakte het dek en het hekwerk op de achtergrond met foam tape. Maakte de reddingboei van Smooth White en Red Hot cardstock en plakte er wat witte twine achter voor het touw. Plakte de boei op de kaart met een Gravel Gray "spijker".
Stamped all the images, using the Pig Time Fun, BB Mice Day to Celebrate and You Keep me Afloat. Colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching dies. Stamped the sentiment directly onto the rectangle. Added the rectangle on a slightly bigger Kraft rectangle. Cut a Smooth White topfold base card 3 3/4 inch x 8 inch and adhered two strips of Pattern Paper out of the Stars and Stripes Paper Pad. Adhered all the images on the card using glue or foam tape and the card was good to go. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, uit de Pig Time Fun, BB Mice Day to Celebrate en You Keep me Afloat stempels. Kleurde de afbeeldingen in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende stansen. Stempelde de tekst rechtstreekt op de achtergrond. Plakte de rechthoek op een iets grotere Kraft rechthoek. Sneed een Smooth White topfold basiskaart van 3 3/4 inch x 8 inch en plakte er twee stroken designpapier uit de Stars and Stripes Paper Pad op. Plakte alle afbeeldingen op de kaart met lijm en foam tape en de kaart was klaar.
