Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge - Something that moves

Hallo allemaal / Hello everybody!

Today it's Saturday wich means a new challenge started over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog, today the theme is make a card or project with the theme Something that moves. You can go every route with this theme so get your stamps, ink and stencils out and play along. Vandaag is het zaterdag dat betekend dat er een nieuwe challenge begonnen is op het blog van Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. Het thema van deze week is maak een kaart of project met het thema "Iets dat beweegt". Je kunt er alle kanten mee op dus pak je stempels, inkten en stencils en speel mee!

For my card i decided to go for a slimline card. So i cut a sidefold card 6 x 8 and scored at 3. Added some rainbow paper to give it some contrast versus the clouds. I cut a panel 1/4 inch smaller on both sides and added some clouds using the Krafty Scenery Stencil. Voor mijn kaart besloot ik een slimline kaart te maken. Sneed een kaart van 6 x 8 inch en rilde op 3 inch. Beplakte dit met designpapier om het wat contrast te geven tegen de zachte wolken. Sneed een paneel 1/4 inch smaller aan beide zijde en bewerkte het met het Krafty Scenery stencil. 

Added the mechanisme in the panel using the Interactive swing Die-Namics. Above that went a cloud die to hide the mechanisme. Stamped all the images, colored them up and cut them using my Brother scan & Cut. Maakte het mechanisme in de het paneel en verborg het met een wolken stans. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copics en sneed ze uit met mijn Brother Scan & Cut.

Using the Party Time Banners stencil and a black (Copic proof) fineliner i traced one of the banners. Colored it up and cut it out. Adhered all the images on the card and added the sentiment. Met het Party Time Banner stencil en een Copic Proof fineliner volgede ik een vlaggenlijn. Kleurde deze in, knipte uit en plakte het op de kaart evenals de andere afbeeldingen. Als  laatste voegde ik de tekst toe.

My Favorite Things - Color Challenge #142

Hello all!

Today i'm here with a new Color Challenge by My Favorite Things. This week i decided to go for a slimline card. Vandaag ben ik er met een nieuwe kleuren challenge van My Favorite Things. Voor deze week heb ik een kaart die ik maakte voor moederdag, ik besloot om een slimline kaart te maken.

Cut a Smooth White cardbase 6 x 8 and scored at 3 inch. Added some masking tape on the bottom so i could make the sky using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide. Masked of the top to make the grass using Squeezed Lemonade and Mowed Lawn Distress ink.

 Sneed een witte basis kaart 6 x 8 inch en scoorde op 3 inch. Maskeerde de onderkant en maakte de lucht met Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inkt. Maskeerde de bovenkant en maakte het grass met Squeezed Lemonade en Mowed Lawn Distress inkt.

 Stamped all the images using Extreme Black and colored them up using my Copic markers. Die cut them using matching Die-Namics and added them on the card. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen met Extreme Black inkt en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers. Stanste alle afbeeldingen met de bijbehorende stansen en plakte alles op de kaart.

For the flower, i stamped it and colored it up and die cut it. With sciccors i cut the left leave and with a white gel pen i colored the stamped line so it is not visible anymore. Lastly i stamped the sentiment on the card. Voor de bloem, stempelde ik deze, kleurde hem in en stanste hem uit. Met een schaar knipte ik het linkerblad af en werkte de stempellijn weg met een witte gelpen. Als laatste stempelde ik de tekst op de kaart.

My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #491

Hello all!

Today i'm back again with a new Sketch Challenge by My Favorite Things. This week i decided to play with the fun Hop, Flip and a Jump stamp. Vandaag ben ik er weer met een nieuwe schets challenge van My Favorite Things. Deze week speelde ik met de leuke Hop, Flip and a Jump stempel.

This week i stayed true to the sketch and instead of the cirkels i added the animals. Deze week bleef ik vrij trouw aan de schets ik veranderde de cirkels in dieren en verder volgde ik alles. 

The base of the card i a Smooth White Topfold cardbase 10 x 13,5. I added some clouds using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and the Mini Cloud Edges stencil. On some water color paper i added Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress ink using the Grassy Field stencil and cut it out. De basis van de kaart is een topfold kaart van 10 x 13,5. Ik bracht er wolken op aan door gebruik te maken van Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inkt en het Mini Cloud Edges Stencil. Op stempelpapier mengde ik Mowed Lawn en Twisted Citron Distress inkt met het Grassy Fields stencil en knipt het aan de bovenzijde uit.

 Cut a piece of Limelight cardstock and added some Mowed Lawn Distress ink. Stamped all the images on some Copic Friendly paper, colored them up using my Copic markers and fussy cut them by hand. Glued everything on the base card using different heights of foam tape. Stanste een stuk Limelight cardstock en gaf het wat detail met Mowed Lawn Distress ink. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en knipte ze uit met de hand. Plakte alles op de basiskaart met verschillende hoogtes foamtape.

Heat embost the sentiment on some black cardstock and cut it using a banner die. With a black fineliner i added some birds in the sky. Heat emboste de tekst op zwart cardstock en stanste het uit met een banner stans. Met een zwarte fineliner bracht ik wat vogels aan in de lucht.

My Favorite Things - The Birthday Project Challenge

Today i'm back with a project for My Favorite Things. It's third thursday of the month so that means a new Birthday Project Challenge starts. The challenge this month is to use alphabet dies to make a personalized birthday card. Vandaag ben ik er weer met een kaart voor My Favorite Things. Het is de derde donderdag van de maand en dat betekend een nieuwe Verjaardag challenge start. De opdracht deze maand is om de je alfabet stansen en stempels te gebruiken om een gepersonaliseerde verjaardagskaart te maken.

This time i decided to make a card for one of my best friends. So i went for "chat phrase" in big letters to put a little extra statement on the matching sentiment. IMO "means In my opnion" 

Voor mijn verjaardagsproject besloot ik een kaart te maken voor een van mijn beste vriendinnen. Ik ging voor een kaartje met "chat taal" in grote letters om de tekststempel nog wat meer impact te geven. IMO betekend "in my opnion"

 Cut a white panel and added Picked Rasperry, Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide inks on it. Splattered some water and added stars using a stencil and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink. Stamped the sentiment using Extreme Black ink. Sneed een wit paneel en bracht er een roze ombre effect op aan met Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick en Spun Sugar Distress Oxide inkt. Spetterde water en voegde sterren toe met een stencil en Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inkt. Stempelde de tekst met Extreme Black inkt.

On some Smooth White i added a piece of super sticky tape and die cut the letters. Removed the top side of the tape and added some golden glitters. Op Smooth White cardstock bracht ik Easy Connect tape aan op de helft en stanste de letters. Haalde de bovenkant van de tape en bracht er glitters op aan.

Stamped the mouse on Copic friendly cardstock, colored him up and cut it using the matching Die-Namics. Added some sparkle on the hat aswell. Glued the panel on a topfold (13,5 x 10) Ripe Raspberry cardbase. Stempelde de muis op Copic vriendelijke papier, kleurde hem in en stanste hem uit met de bijbehorende Die-Namics. Voegde aan de feestmuts ook wat glitters. Plakte alles op een topfold (13,5 x 10) Ripe Raspberry basiskaart.

Pink - RV19, RV17, RV14, RV13

White - C5, C3, C1, C00, 0

My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #490

Hello all!

Today i'm back again with a new Sketch Challenge by My Favorite Things. This week i decided to go a little out side the box and do a bit of Mixed Media. Vandaag ben ik er weer met een nieuwe schets challenge van My Favorite Things. Deze week besloot ik een beetje uit mijn comfort zone te gaan en ietsjes aan Mixed Media te doen.

 For this weeks sketch i stayed true to the sketch accept i changed the heart for a cirkle and i only used this inside part of the sketch. Voor de schets van deze week bleef ik vrij trouw aan het orgineel, ik verplaatste het hart voor een cirkel en ik gebruikte alleen de binnenkant van de kaart.

On some watercolor paper i masked of the circle in the middle. Added the galaxy background using Black Soot/ Chipped Sapphire and Broken China Distress ink. Splattered some white paint and removed the mask. Masked of the galaxy background and made the earth using Mowed Lawn/ Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress ink. Added some white gesso for the clouds. Op aquarel papier maskeerde ik de cirkel en bewerkte de rest van het paneel met Distress inkten. Spetterede witte verf en verwijderde de maskeertape. Maskeerde de Galaxy achtergrond en maakte de aarde met Distress inkten. Voor de wolken gebruikte ik witte Gesso. 

 Added the panel to a topfold white cardbase 10,5 x 11. Die cut the Good Luck greeting out of Black Licorice cardstock and glued it on the panel with 2 mm foamtape. Heat embost the sentiment on the same color cardstock and die cut it into a strip. Glued it on the base using 1 mm foamtape. Plakte de achtergrond op een witte topfold kaart 10,5 x 11. Stanste de tekst uit Black Licorice cardstock en plakte het op de aarde met 2 mm foamtape. Heat emboste de tekst met goud embossingpoeder, stanste het naar een strip en plakte het op de kaart met 1 mm foamtape.

My Favorite Things - May Vault Release

Today i'm back back with a new Vault release for My Favorite Things! For the people who don't know what it means; My Favorite Things is bringing back older products but then they are updated to here and now. So if you missed out on them back then, here is your change to scoop them up! Vandaag ben ik er met een nieuwe Vault release van My Favorite Things! Voor de mensen die het niet kennen; My Favorite Things brengt oudere producten opnieuw uit alleen dan in een nieuw jasje. Mocht je deze eerder gemist hebben is het nu je kans om te halen.

The release is avaible as we speak! I decided to play with the Spring Garden Die-Namics in combination with the Pegboard Cover up Die-Namics. Vanaf nu zijn de mei Vault release producten beschikbaar! Ik besloot een project te maken met de Sping Garden Die-Namics in combinatie met de Pegboard Cover Up Die-namics

My Base card is a white topfold card 13,5 x 11. Draw a line on 1,5 cm and 2 and give it some color with my Copic markers so it would look like a wall. De basis kaart is een witte topfold kaart 13,5 x 11. Tekende af op 1,5 en 2 cm en bewerkte daaronder en erboven met mijn Copic markers zodat het op een muur lijkt. 

 Cut the Pegg Board four times out of neutral cardstock and glued them together. I made it smaller so it would be a bit smaller then the table. Die cut the table and table leg out of Smooth White and silver cardstock made them into one. Stanste het Pegg Board vier keer uit neutraal cardstock en plakte ze op elkaar. Sneed een stuk van het Pegg Board zodat het achter de tafel zou passen. Stanste de tafel en tafelpoten uit wit en zilver cardstock en plakte het op elkaar.

Die cut the pots, watering can and flowers out of white cardstock. Out of Blue Raspberry i cut some pots, the watering can and the handles of the tools. Out of silver cardstock i cut the tools and watering can. The leaves and steams out of green cardstock and last the handles of the Peff Board out of kraft paper. Stanste de potten, gieter en bloemen uit wit cardstock. Uit Blue Raspberry stanste ik de potten, gieter en de handvatten van het gereedschap. Uit zilver cardstock de gieter en het gereedschap. De blaadjes en taken komen uit twee soorten groen cardstock en als laatste de hendels van het Pegg Board uit kraft cardstock.

Glued everything together and cut some pieces so to make it into one like with the watering can. For the hanging plants i used the steams as guide were to glue the leaves. On the flowers i added some enamel dots. Finished of with a sentiment stamp on the bottom of the card. Plakte alles aan elkaar, soms knipte ik wat onderdelen om het tot een geheel te maken zoals bij de gieter. Voor de hangplanten gebruikten ik de stelen van de bloemen als leidraad om te bepalen waar de blaadjes gingen. Op de bloemen plakte ik wat enamel dots en werkte de kaart af met een sentiment aan de onderzijde.

My Favorite Things - May Vault Release Countdown day 1

Hello all,

Welcome back today for day two of the May Vault Release countdown by My Favorite Things. Lucky on the Vault Release the wait is only short and you can have a shopping spree already tommorow Tuesday May 19th at 10:00 am EST. Welkom terug bij dag twee van de mei Vault Release coutndown by My Favorite Things. Gelukkig hoef je maar even te wachten want morgen zijn ze al beschikbaar om 16:00!

For today we have some handy tools to show you. Great products for all you handy men and woman in your life! Voor vandaag hebben we wat handige gereedschappen die we je willen laten zien. Super handig om kaarten mee te maken voor de handige mannen en vrouwen in je omgeving.

For my card i made a white topfold base card (sorry don't know the seizes!) and added some stone to it using a stencil and Salty Ocean Distress ink. Cut the Pegboard Die-Namics and made it smaller so it would fit 6 screwdriver's. Voor mijn kaart sneed ik een witte topfold kaart (ik weet de maat niet..) en bewerkte het met een stencil en Salty Ocean Distress inkt. Stanste het Pegboard Die-Namics en maakte het op maat zodat er 6 schroevendraaiers op paste.

Cut the screwdrivers out of silver cardstock, the handles out of six different colors and i cut six tool hooks out of black cardstock. Assembled everything and glued it on the pegboard. To finish of i stamped the sentiment on the bottom of the card. Stanste de schroevendraaier uit zilver cardstock. de handvatten uit zes verschillende kleuren en de haken uit zwart cardstock. Plakte alles op elkaar en bevestigde ze op het pegboard. Om de kaart af te maken stempelde ik de tekst op de basis.

My Favorite Things - May Vault Release Countdown day 2

Hello All,

Welcome to day 1 of the MFT Vault Release.  All of the stamps and dies that have come back out of the MFT Vault will be available on Tuesday May 19th at 10:00 am EST. Welkom bij dag 1 van de MFT Vault Release. Alle stempels en stansen die uit de kluis gaan komen zullen beschikbaar zijn op 19 mei 16:00.

 Today we have some amazing dies and stamps in the pocket. Just hop around all the other designteam member and you will be amazed! For my card i combined the Say Hello Die-namics, Fishbowl Die-Namics and topped it off with a sentiment from the You're fin-tastic stamp.

Vandaag hebben we een aantal super leuke stansen en stempels voor jullie die weer opnieuw uit gaan komen. Hop langs alle designteam leden voor nog meer inspiratie! Voor mijn kaart vandaag combineerde ik de Say Hello Die-Namics, Fishbowl Die-Namics en werkte het af met een tekst uit de You're Fin-tastic stempel.

First i cut a topfold cardbase out of Berrylicious cardstock 11 x 14. Using a stencil and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink i made some waves. Splattered some Peacock Feathers ink on top of it. Sneed een topfold Berrylicious topfold basis kaart van 11 x 14. Met een stencil en Peacock Feather Distress Oxide maakte ik de golven. Mixte Peacock Feathers met water en spetterde op de basis.

Cut the word Hello four times and glued it together. Die cut the fish and the seperate parts and made it into two fish. Die cut the weed and added some Distress Ink Mowed Lawn for some texture. Stanste het woord hello vier keer uit en plakte het op elkaar. Stanste de vis met de losse onderdelen en maakte er twee hele vissen van. Stanste vervolgens het zeewier en bewerkte dit met Mowed Lawn distress inkt.

Out of Kraft paper i cut the bottom and added some color using Walnut Stain Distress ink. Glued everything on the card. To give the fish some air bubbles i used the die and some Vellum. Heat embost the sentiment and cut it using a banner die. uit kraft papier stanste ik de bodem en bewerkte dit met Walnut Stain Distress inkt. Plakte alles op de basis en besloot dat de vissen nog wat lucht bubbels nodig hadden. Stanste deze uit vellum. Heat emboste de tekst, stanste deze uit met een banner stans.

May release and krafty hop!

And the day has come that the May Release by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps is available! For today's inspiration i decided to make another card using the Farm-tastic Vanaf vandaag zijn de mei release producten van Kraftin' Kimmie stamps te koop, welke ga jij halen? Voor mijn inspiratie van vandaag maakte ik een nog een kaart met farm-tastic.

For my card i cut a topfold card 13,5 x 10,5. On 1/3 of the card i added the sun using the Sunbeam stencil and Morning Mariagold. Using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide and the Krafty Scenery Stencil i added the cloud on the top and some blue on the sides of the sun. Stamped the sentiment using Wicked Black and added some birds. 

Voor mijn kaart sneed ik een topfold kaart 13,5 x 10,5. Op 1/3 van de kaart maakte ik de zon met het Sunbeam stecil en Morning Mariagold. Met Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks and the Krafty Scenery stencil voegde ik de wolk toe en wat blauw aan de zijkanten van de zon. Stempelde de tekst met Wicked Black en tekende wat vogels.

 To make the scene i cut the border of sand and the small fence out of kraft paper and added some Marvellous Mocha. Out of limelight cardstock i cut the grass hills and the grass border and added some texture using Charming Chartreuse. Out of white cardstock i die cut the bigger fence and glued everything on the base using different heights of foamtape. Om de scene te maken sneed ik uit kraft het zand, stanste het smalle hekwerk en bewerkte het met Marvellous Mocha. Uit Limelight cardstock stanste ik de grasheuvels en het grasrandje, bewerkte dit met Charming Chartreuse. Uit wit cardstock stanste ik het grote hekwerk en plakte alles op de basis met verschillende diktes foamtape.

Stamped the boy with tractor and the chicken using Wicked Black and colored them up using my Copic markers. I used my Brother Scan & Cut to cut the images and glued them on the card. Stempelde de jongen met tractor en de kip met Wicked Black en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers. Ik gebruikte de Brother Scan & Cut om de de afbeeldingen uit te snijden en plakte ze op de kaart.

Krafty Peeks day 4 : Farm-tastic + a challenge

Welcome to day Four of the May Krafty peeks by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. It's the last day because of tomorrow all the goodies will be available in store. Today we have a really versatile set by artist Cheryl Grant called Farm-tastic. Hallo allemaal, welkom bij dag vier van de April release week van Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. Vandaag is de laatste dag want... morgen zijn alle nieuwe producten te koop! Vandaag een set van artiest Cheryl Grant; Farm-tastic.

 This new set contains a two different images of a boy doing what he likes Fishing and helping his dad on the fields The set also contains several matching sentiments it is a great set for any of your card making or craft projects. 

Deze set heeft twee afbeeldingen van een jongen die doet wat hij leuk vind, vissen en zijn vader helpen op het land. Uiteraard zitten er weer verschillende passende teksten bij.

 For my card i decided to go fo a scene, so i cut a top fold white card and masked of the top of the card. Added some blue Distress inks and splattered some water. Masked of the bottom and added some clouds using the Krafty Scenery Stencil. Voor mijn kaart besloot ik voor een scene te gaan. Ik sneed een topfold witte kaart. Maskeerde de bovenzijde en bewerkte de onderzijde met verschillende Distress inkten en spetterde wat water. Maskeerde de onderzijde en bracht wat wolken aan met het Krafty Scenery Stencil.

Die cut the gras, bushes, cattails and stones using the Pond builder dies and added some ink for some extra details. Colored in the rocks using my Copic markers. Added some birds in the sky using a black fineliner and stamped the sentiment on the top using Wicked Black. Stanste het gras, de struiken, lisdodes en wat stenen uit de pond builder stans en bracht wat extra detail aan op het cardstock door inkten te gebruiken. Kleurde de stenen in met mijn Copics en met een zwarte fineliner bracht ik wat vogels aan in de lucht. Stempelde de tekst op de bovenkant van de kaart met Wicked Black

Stamped the main image and tree of the fish on some Copic Friendly paper, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them out using my sciccors. Adhered evrything on the card and my card was done! Stempelde de grote stempel met een eenatal vissen op Copic vriendelijke paper, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en knipte ze uit. Plakte alles op de kaart en klaar was hij!
