Drink up and you'll forget, you're another year older

Hallo allemaal,

Daar was ik weer eens, mijn inspiratie en motivatie is ver te zoeken en het moet echt uit mijn tenen komen momenteel. Zo ging ik gisteren aan de slag met een de leuke Zippy Zebra's van My Favorite Things. Deze leuke zebra's lagen al sinds dat ze released zijn op mijn bureau te wachten. Here i'm after some time, my inspiration and motivation are far away and it's a real struggle to get something out of my hands. I still try to get crafty so i played with the Zippy Zebra's by My Favorite Things. They were on my desk since they were released so i decided it was time to play with them.

Het is een witte topfold kaart van 14 x 11. Ik maskeerde de onderzijde van de kaart en bracht Twisted Citron Distress inkt aan. Spetterde wat water voor wat structuur. Aan de bovenzijde stempelde ik de tekst. It's a white topfold card seize 14 x 11. I masked of the bottom of the card and added some Twisted Citron Distress ink. Splattered some water to give it some texture. On the top of the card i stamped the sentiment.

Stempelde de zebra's, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic Markers en stanste ze daarna uit. Uit Copic papier stanste ik het wijnglas en ook deze kleurde ik in met mijn Copic markers. Ik maakte het wijnglas compleet met de shaker pouch en wat sequins. Stamped the zebra's, colored them using my Copic markers and die cut them using the matching dies. Out of Copic paper i also die cut the glass and colored it up with my Copics. I finished the glass using a shaker pouch and some sequins.

Plakte alles op de kaart en toen kwam de struggle... ik was niet tevreden en kon niets bedacht krijgen om het compleet te maken. De tekst had ik eerst op de kaart gestempeld dat was te kaal daarna op zwart geheat embost en uitgestanst dat was al beter maar nog niet je van het.. Tot mijn vriend zei; "waarom geef je ze geen strik, zoals het lijkt of dat ze uit eten zijn" Ik heb hem een dikke kus gegeven want dat was net wat de kaart nodig had voor mijn gevoel. Glued everything on the card and then the struggle came... i was not happy with the way it looked and i could not figure out what it was the card needed. I stamped the sentiment straight on the card before that was to plain. The heat embost sentiment with the speech bubble is way better, but it still missed something. Until my boyfriend said; "why don't you add a bow to them, it will look like they are having a fancy dinner" i kissed him because that was exactly what the card needed.
