Carlijn Design - ATC Swap

Hallo allemaal,

Afgelopen maand deed ik mee met de Carlijn Design ATC swap. Het thema was bloemen en ik maakte deze serie ATC kaarten. Last month there was a ATC swap over at Carlijn Design. The theme was Flowers and this is the series of cards I made.

For this card I cut all the elements using the dies and adhered them together. Inkblended a "wall" on to the card using Distress inks, splattered black paint and adhered all the elements on the card. Stamped the sentiment using a black ink and cut it using the matching die.

Voor deze kaart stanste ik alle onderdelen met de bijbehorende stansen en plakte zo nodig op elkaar. Inktblende de scene met Distress inkten, spetterde zwarte verf en plakte alle elementen op de kaart. Stempelde de tekst met zwarte inkt en stanste uit met de bijpassende stans.

For my Simple Shelf card I cut a white base card. Using het Stencil and the colors Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Lost Shadow, Hickory Smoke and Black Soot Distrress Oxides to create the scene. Stamped all the sentiments using a black ink and finished the card off by adding some black cats.

Voor mijn Simple Shelf kaart sneed ik een witte basis kaart. Met het stencil en de kleuren Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Lost Shadow, Hickory Smoke en Black Soot Distrress Oxide inkten maakte ik de scene. Stempelde alle teksten met zwarte inkt en werkte de kaart af om wat zwarte katten toe te voegen.

For my Shelf card I masked the sides and inkblended some Speckled Egg in the middle and removed the tape. Cut two strips of the wood paper and after that I die cut all the elements and assembled them on the shelfs. Added the sentiment strip to finish of the card.

Voor mijn shelf kaart maskeerde ik de zijkanten en beinkte het midden met Speckled Egg. Verwijderde de tape en sneed twee stroken uit het hout papier. Stanste alle onderdelen, plakte ze op elkaar en plakte ze op de planken. Voegde als laatste de tekst toe.

My Favorite Things October Release Spotlight Day 4

Today is the last day of the My Favorite Things release inspiration week. For my project today I created a series of Artist Trading Cards using the Christmas Party Dinos together with the Holiday Plaid Paper Pad.

andaag is de laatste dag van de My Favorite Things inspiratie release week. Voor mijn project van vandaag maakte ik een serie Artist Trading Cards met de Christmas Party Dinos en het Holiday Plaid Paper Pad.

Cut 4 rectangles out of the Holiday Plaid Paper Pad. Cut 4 smaller rectangles and inked two up using Twisted Citron and two using Kitsch Flamingo. Splattered water and white paint and stamped the snowflakes using Mowed Lawn en Picked Raspberry. Cut borders of snow using the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-Namics and adhered everything together.

Sneed 4 rechthoeken uit het Holiday Plaid Paper Pad. Sneed 4 rechthoek een slag kleiner en beinkte er twee met Twisted Citron en Twee met Kitsch Flamingo. Spetterde water en witte verf, stempelde daarna de sneeuwvlokken met Mowed Lawn en Picked Raspberry. Stanste de sneeuw met de Stitched Snow Drifts Die-Namics en plakte alles op elkaar.

Heat set the sentiments using Cotton Candy and Sour Apple and cut them into banners. Inked them up using Distrress ink and assembled the cards. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze met de bijpassende Christmas Party Dinos Die-Namics. Heat emboste de teksten op Cotton Candy en Sour Apple en maakte er banners van. Beinkte ze met Distress inkt en plakte alles op de kaartjes.

My Favorite Things October Release Spotlight Day 3

Today the designteam is showcasing the new stamps by artist Stacey Yacula. For my card I decided to create a shaker card using the Christmas Characters together with the Stitched Rounded Arch STAX Die-namics.

Vandaag laat het designteam die nieuwste stempels van Stacey Yacula zien. Voor mijn kaart maakte ik een shaker kaart met de Christmas Characters en de Stitched Rounded Arch STAX Die-namics.

Cut a Kraft A2 rectangle stamped the Snowflake Flurry Background on to it using a white ink and cut the Stitched Rounded Arch STAX Die-namics. Cut a piece of watercolor paper and inked up Squeezed Lemonade and Carved Pumkin. Splattered water and white paint. Added some acetate to the Kraft rectangle, filled the shaker and closed it.

Sneed een A2 Kraft rechthoek en stempelde hier de Snowflake Flurry Background op met een witte inkt. Stanste het met de Stitched Rounded Arch STAX Die-namics. Sneed een stuk aquarel papier en beinkte dit met Squeezed Lemonade en Carved Pumpkin. Spetterde water en witte verf en plakte het op een witte basiskaart. Plakte acetate achter de Kraft rechthoek, vulde de shaker en plakte hem dicht.

Die cut a strip of snow using the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-Namics. Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the Christmas Characters Die-Namics. Heat set the sentiment and added all the elements on the card. Stanste een strook sneeuw met de Stitched Snow Drifts Die-Namics. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de Christmas Characters Die-Namics. Heat emboste de tekst en plakte alle elementen op de kaart.

My Favorite Things October Release Spotlight Day 2

Hello all,

Day two of October release spotlight day by My Favorite Things! Dag twee van de My Favorite Things oktober release spotlight dag is hier!

For today's card I went a bit more traditional. I combined the Joy Die-Namics, Sweet Sticks - Holiday Edition Die-Namics, Tiled Stars Stencil, Sweetest Holiday Wishes together with this month free for $60 Mini Holly Wreath Die-Namics.

Voor mijn kaart van vandaag ging ik een meer traditionele kant op. Ik combineerde de Joy Die-Namics, Sweet Sticks - Holiday Edition Die-Namics, Tiled Stars Stencil, Sweetest Holiday Wishes samen met de free for $60 Mini Holly Wreath Die-Namics.

Cut a Sour Apple rectangle and inkblended the sides using Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness. Temporarely added the Tiled Stars Stencil and inkblened the same colors. Stamped the sentiment on the background and heat set the same sentiment on some Black Licorice. Die cut the small sentiment using a banner die.

Sneed een rechthoek uit Sour Apple en inktblende de zijkanten met Mowed Lawn en Rustic Wilderness. Plakte tijdelijk het Tiled Stars Stencil en inktblende opnieuw met beide kleuren. Stempelde de tekst op de achtergrond en heat emboste het op Black Licorice. Stanste de kleine tekst uit.

Die cut the Joy, Sweet Sticks - Holiday Edition and the Mini Holly Wreath Die-Namics out of White, Red Hot and Sour Apple. Assembled all the elements and adhered it to the card. Finished the card of by adding some transparent bubbles. Stansten de Joy, Sweet Sticks - Holiday Edition en de Mini Holly Wreath Die-Namics uit wit, Red Hot en Sour Apple. Plakte alles in elkaar en op de kaart. Werkte de kaart af met wat transparante bubbles.

My Favorite Things October Release Spotlight Day 1

Hello all,

Today is day one for the My Favorite Things spotlight posts! The upcomming four days the Designteam will show you projects using all of the new goodies that where release last tuesday! Vandaag is dag één van de My Favorite Things spotlight posts! De aankomende vier dagen zal het designteam verschillende projecten laten zien met de nieuwe release producten die sinds dinsdag verkrijgbaar zijn!

For today's project I created a card using the other stamp by artist Jenoblade called Gno Ho Ho. I combined the stamp with the new Gnome Home Die-Namics.

Voor mijn kaart van vandaag gebruikte ik de andere set van artiest Jenoblade genaamd Gno Ho Ho. Ik combineerde hem met de nieuwe Gnome Home Die-Namics.

Started on the backgroud first. I inkblended Uncharted Mariner, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide inks. Splattered some water and stamped the Snowflake Flurry Background on to it using Salvaged Patina. Stamped the small snowflakes using Mermaid Lagoon and adhered it on a topfold Smooth White card. Maakte eerst de achtergrond, met Uncharted Mariner, Mermaid Lagoon en Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide inkt. Spetterde water en stempelde daarna de Snowflake Flurry Backgrond met Salvaged Patina. Stempelde de kleine sneeuwvlokken met Mermaid Lagoon en plakte het op een topfold witte basiskaart.

Die cut the mushroom using Red Hot, White, Cement Gray, Sno Cone, Cotton Candy, Summer Splash, Limelight and Lemon Drop. Die cut the roof of the mushroom again out of white and slighlty move the die to cut a strip from the bottom so I could change it into snow. For the snow chimney and the small mushroom I die cut the parts twice aswell and cut some snow myself. Stanste de paddestoel uit Red Hot, Cement Gray, Sno Cone, Cotton Candy, Summer Splash, Limlight en Lemon Drop. Stanste het dak van de paddestoel ook uit wit cardstock en verschoof de stans een stuk zodat ik het als sneeuw kon gebruiken. Voor de sneeuw van de schoorsteen en kleine paddestoelen deed ik hetzelfde stanste de onderdelen uit wit en knipte het tot sneeuw.

Cut a Strip of Snow using the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-Namics. Added Salvaged Patina onto all the snow. Stamped the sentiment and the gnome, colored up the gnome and cut it using the matching Gno Ho Ho Die-Namcis. Adhered everything on the card and finished off by adding some Glossy Accent to the lights. Sneed een strook sneeuw met de Stitched Snow Drifts Die-Namics. Beinkte al het sneeuw met Salvaged Patina. Stempelde de tekst en de gnome, kleurde de gnome in en stanste hem uit met de bijpassende Gno Ho Ho Die-Namics. Plakte alles op de kaart en bewerkt de lichtjes met Glossy Accent.

My Favorite Things - October Release Day!

Hello all,

It’s time for the My Favorite Things October release! All new products are available right now! The MFT design team is sharing projects created with the new stuff. You can find loads of inspiration! Het is tijd voor de My Favorite Things oktober product lancering. Alle nieuwe producten zijn vanaf nu verkrijgbaar! Het MFT design team deelt ook vandaag weer een lading aan inspiratie.

Yay the new release is avaible as we speak! For today I created another Christmas card. This time around I used the Kitchen Cuties, Sweetest Holiday Wishes and the new Colorful Christmas Text Paper Pad.

Ja de nieuwe release is verkrijgbaar vanaf nu! Ik maakte wederom een kerst kaart. Deze keer gebruikte ik de Kitchen Cuties, Sweetest Holiday Wishes en het nieuwe Colorful Christmas Text Paper Pad.

Cut a topfold white base and added a piece of pattern paper onto it. Die cut the a white scalloped rectangle using Blueprints 27 Die-Namics. Cut a Eiffel Tower rectangle and a slightly smaller white rectangle. Inkblended the bricks using Hickory Smoke and the English Brick Wall Stencil. Inked the ground using a brown ink.

Sneed een witte topfold basiskaart en beplakte dit met het nieuwe designpapier. Stanste een witte gescupte rand met de Blueprints 27 Die-Namics. Sneed een Eiffel Tower rechthoek en een slag kleinere witte rechthoek. Beinkte deze met Hickory Smoke en het English Brick Wall Stencil. Voor de grond gebruikte ik een bruine kleur inkt.

Heat set the sentiment on to some Red Hot and cut it using the banner out of the same blueprints as used earlier. Added some Christmas floral that comes with this month free for $60 Mini Holly Wreath Die-Namics. Stempelde alle abeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Kitchen Cuties Die-Namics. Heat emboste de tekst op Red Hot cardstock en stanste het uit met de banner die in de eerder gebruikte Blueprints zit. Voegde nog wat kerstbloemen toe aan de banner hiervoor gebruikte ik deze maand free for $60 de Mini Holly Wreath Die-Namics.
