My Favorite Things October Release Countdown Day 1

 Hello all,

Today is the last day of the October release countdown of My Favorite Things and you know what that means right? Tommorow all the new products will be avaible! Did you decide on what you are going to get? Luckly you have one more night to think about it! Vandaag is de laatste dag van de oktober release countdown van My Favorite Things en je weet wat dat betekend! Morgen zullen alle nieuwe producten beschikbaar zijn. Heb je al besloten wat je zou willen hebben? Gelukkig kun je er nog een dag over nadenken!

Today i have another colorfull Christmas card for you. I love the Tiddly Inks line so I decided on making a card using the Furry and Bright stamp and the matching Die-Namics. I combined it with the older Very Merry Paperpad.

Vandaag heb ik weer een kleurrijke kerst kaart voor jullie. Ik vind de Tidlly Inks lijn helemaal leuk en besloot om een de Furry en Bright Stempel te gebruiken met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Ik combineerde ze met de oudere Very Merry Paper pad.

So this time I started with coloring. Stamped the images, colored them up and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Cut a Smooth White rectangle and cut of a part of the right side. Cut a strip of Princess Pink and Smooth White and inkblended some Hickory Smoke on the rectangle.

Deze keer begon ik met het inkleuren van de afbeeldingen. Stempelde beide afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copics en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Sneed een Smooth White rechthoek en sneed hier een stuk uit. Sneed een strook Princess Pink en een klein strookje Smooth White. Inktblende de grote rechthoek met Hickory Smoke.

Cut a Smooth White basecard and added a strip of Pattern Paper. Heat set the sentiment on some Princess Pink and cut it. Cut three strips of Patter Paper and added it to the card. Finished the card using some enemal dots. To add in a fun detail I used some Liqued Applicator on the girls clothing. Sneed een Smooth White topfold basiskaart en plakte er een strip designpapier op. Heat emboste de tekst op Princess Pink cardstock en stanste het uit. Sneed drie strips uit het designpapier en plakte het op de kaart, werkte het geheel af met wat enemal dots. Voor een leuk effect bracht ik wat Liqued Applicator aan op de kleding van het meisje.

My Favorite Things October Release Countdown Day 2

Today's stamp I thought was excellent for a slimline card. I created a scene using the Put the Jolly in the Holidays and the Sled Duo Die-Namics.

De stempel van vandaag leende zich weer uitstekend voor een slimline kaart. Ik maakte een scene met de Put the Jolly in the Holidays stempel en de Sled Duo Die-Namics.

First off I cut a watercolor rectangle and inkblended Blueprint Sketch and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks. Splattered some water and white paint and glued it onto a Kraft rectangle. That base went onto a Smooth White topfold card. Cut a strip of Smooth White and added some Copic details to it.

Stanste eerst een rechthoek uit aquarel papier en inktblende Blueprint Sketch en Black Soot Distress Oxide inks. Spetterde water en witte verf en plakte het geheel op een Kraft rechthoek. Plakte het geheel op een Smooth White topfold basiskaart. Stanste een strip Smooth White en bracht wat Copic details aan.

Stamped all the images, Colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Die cut the sleds and assembled them. Placed all the images on to the card and added some twine between the owl and sled. Heat embost de sentiment and cut it using a banner die. Die cut the word "HI" and added some white details to all the images. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Stanste de sleeën uit en maakte er twee hele sledes van. Plakte alles op de kaart en plakte wat twine tussen de uil en de slee. Heat emboste de tekst en stanste het tot een banner. Stanste het woord "HI" en bewerkte alles met een witte gelpen.

My Favorite Things October Release Countdown Day 3

Welcome to day three of the October release countdown by My Favorite Things, we are halfway there! So hop along for more beautiful inspiration by the team. Welkom bij dag drie van de september release countdown van My Favorite Things, we zijn halverwege! Hop gezellig mee langs alle design team leden voor meer inspiratie.

Day three is here and today we are showcasing you the newest stamp by Rachelle Ann Miller and it it is called Letter to Santa. As it has been a while ago since I made a shaker card I decided on making a shaker card!

Dag drie is hier! Vandaag laten de we de nieuwste stempel van Rachelle Ann Miller zien genaamd Letter to Santa. Het was alweer een tijdje geleden dat ik een shaker kaart maakte dus ik besloot om een shaker kaart te maken.

First of i cut the rectangle like seven times out of Smooth White, one white panel I used for the background and I inkblended Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick onto it. Splattered some water and white paint and adhered it onto a piece of Cotton Candy.

Eerst stanste ik de rechthoek zeven keer uit Smooth White, een van de uitgestanste rechthoek (de binnenkant) inktblende ik met Spun Sugar en Worn Lipstick. Spetterde water en witte verf en plakte het op een stuk Cotton candy.

Glued six of the frame together and onto the background and one I glued to a sheet of heat resistant acetate. Heat set the sentiment onto it. Cut two borders of snow and on the front one I added some Copic detail. Cut a Smooth White sidefold basecard and glued a piece of pattern paper onto it. Filled the shaker and closed it.

Plakte zes van de frames op elkaar en plakte dit op de achtergrond. Bij de laatste plakte ik een stuk heat resistant acetate en heat emboste de tekst. Stanste twee stroken sneeuw en voegde bij een wat Copic details toe. Sneed een sidefold Smooth White rechthoek en plakte hier een stuk designpapier op. Vulde de shaker en plakte het dicht.

Stamped the image, colored it up using my Copic markers and cut it using the matching Die-Namics. Glued the front snow on to the shaker and finished of glueing the image on to it. Stempelde de afbeelding, kleurde hem in met mijn Copic markers en stanste het uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Plakte het sneeuw op de shaker en daarna de afbeelding op de kaart.

Stamp Anniething - Kawaii Cuties

 Hello all,

Today it's my time to show you another card using the Kawaii Cuties. To stick with the current weather I made a Fall themed card. Vandaag is het mijn beurt om een inspiratie kaart te delen met de Kawaii Cuties. Om bij het huidige weer te blijven maakte ik een herfst kaart.

First I made the background. I took a White rectangle and added the Leaf and Acorn builder stencil. Inkblended the leaves and Acorn using Distress inks and splattered some water. Splattered some Aged Mahogony mixed with water and black and white paint.

Eerst maakte ik mijn achtergrond. Ik sneed een witte rechthoek en plakte er tijdelijk het leaf en acorn builder stencil op. Inktblende de bladeren en eikels met Distress inkt en spetterde er water op. Spetterde wat Aged Mahogony met water, zwarte en witte verf op.

Die cut the hearts and heat set the sentiments on the same color of cardstock, die cut them into smaller sentiment strips. Cut the heart and inkblended in the sky and ground.

Stanste het heart en heat emboste de teksten op hetzelfde kleur cardstock. Stanste de teksten in smallere tekst strips. Knipte het hart uit en inktblende de lucht en grond.

Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and die cut them using the matching dies. Adhered everything on to the base and added glossy accent to the heart and some wink of stella to the leaves. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende stansten. Plakte alles op de kaart en bracht wat glossy accent aan op het hart en wink of stella op de bladeren.

My Favorite Things October Release Countdown Day 4

One day closer to the October release by My Favorite Things! Only four more days to go until the new release will be avaible! Dag 4 van de My Favorite Things oktober release countdown is hier, dat betekend dat het nu nog maar vier dagen duurt voordat de nieuwe release verkrijgbaar is!

Let me tell you I love love love these cute llama that we are showing you today! They are very usefull and fun to use for any project. For my inspiration card for today I made a slimline version so I could place all the images on to the card.

Ik vind de llama's die we jullie vandaag laten zien echt te gek! Ze zijn super leuk om te gebruiken voor ieder soort project en niet eens alleen voor de kerst! Voor mijn inspiratie kaart van vandaag maakte ik een slimline kaart, zo kon ik alle afbeeldingen op de kaart verwerken.

Die cut a watercolor paper rectangle and inkblended Dusty Concord, Barn Door and Wild Honey on to it, splattered some water and white paint onto it. Die cut a strip of Smooth White and added some details using my Copic markers. Placed the panel onto a Smooth White rectangle. Cut a topfold Smooth White basecard and added the pattern paper. Glued the whole card onto it.

Stanste een aquarel rechthoek en inktblende Dusty Concord, Barn Door en Wild Honey, spetterde wat water en witte verf. Stanste een strook Smooth White en bewerkte dit met mijn Copic markers. Plakte het geheel op een Smooth White rechthoek. Sneed een Smooth White topfold basiskaart en bracht er een laag designpapier aan. Plakte hier het geheel weer op.

Die cut it using a banner die and placed it onto the card. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde de afbeeldingen in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Plakte alles op de kaart en heat emboste de tekst op Black Licorice cardstock. Stanste het geheel uit met een banner stans en plakte het op de kaart.

My Favorite Things October Release Countdown Day 5

 Hello all,

It’s time for the My FavoriteThings October release countdown! During the countdown, the MFT Design Team is sharing lots of projects featuring all of the new products. The new release will officially be available on October 5th at 10:00 am EST (= Europe: october 5th at 4:00 pm CET). Het is tijd voor de My Favorite Things oktober release countdown! Nog 5 dagen en dan is de nieuwe release verkrijgbaar. Tijdens de countdown, laat het MFT Design Team verschillende projecten zien met alle nieuwe producten. De release zal verkrijgbaar zijn op 5 oktober om 10:00 am EST (in Nederland op 5 oktober om 16:00).

Yay the new release countdown starts today! And you know what this release will be all about Christmas / Winter! So buckle up and enjoy all the new products. For today's inspiration card I decided on making a card using the new It's Penguining to Look a Lot Like Christmas together with the new Cool Collab Pattern Paper.

Yay de nieuwe release countdown starts vandaag! En het leuke aan deze release is dat het allemaal draait om kerst / winter! Dus zet je schrap en laat je inspireren door de nieuwe producten. Voor mijn kaart van vandaag besloot ik een kaart te maken met de Penguining to Look a Lot Like Christmas samen met de nieuwe Cool Collab design papier.

First off i cut the Slanted Stripes Cover Up Die-Namics out of Smooth White and flipped it over. Inkblended some Candied Apple on the top of each stripe. Splattered some water and white paint and glued it together. Cut a Smooth White sidefold cardbase and added a piece of Pattern Paper.

Stanste de Slanted Stripes Cover-Up Die-Namics uit Smooth White en draaide hem om. Inktblende de bovenkanten van de strippen met Candied Apple, spetterde water en witte verf. Plakte het geheel aan elkaar. Sneed een sidefold Smooth White basiskaart en plakte er een stuk designpapier op.

Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Heat embost the sentiment on some Tropical Teal and cut it. Die cut the snowflakes out of Smooth White and finished of with a gem. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Heat emboste de tekst op Tropical Teal en sneed het uit. Stanste de sneeuwvlokken uit Smooth White, plakte ze op de kaart en werkte ze af met een gem.

My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #561

 Hello all!

Today I am back again with a new Sketch Challenge by My Favorite Things. This week I decided to make a Spooky card that can be used for Halloween or for a Birthday! Vandaag ben ik er weer met een nieuwe schets challenge van My Favorite Things. Deze week maakte ik een spookachtige kaart, die je zowel voor Halloween als voor een verjaardag kunt gebruiken.

For the sketch of this week I decided to stick with the current style and did not add, flipped or swapped anything.

Voor de schets van deze week besloot ik trouw te blijven aan zoals hij is en voegde dus niets toe, draaide of verplaatste niets.

Cut a Black Licorice rectangle and added that onto a Smooth White topfold base card. Cut a watercolor rectangle and inkblended some Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet and Black Soot Distress ink. Splattered some water and black paint and cut a strip of pattern paper that went behind it. Cut a vellum cirkle and glued that on to the inkblended cardbase.

Sneed een Black Licorice rechthoek en plakte deze op een Smooth White topfold basiskaart. Sneed een aquarel rechthoek en inktblende hierop Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet en Black Soot Distress inkt. Spetterde water en zwarte verf. Sneed een strip designpapier en plakte dit erachter. Stanste een vellum cirkel en plakte alles op de kaart.

Stamped the sentiment on some Smooth White and cut it into a banner. Stamped the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Added both to the card and finished of using some orange enamel dots. Stempelde de tekst op Smooth White en stanste het tot een banner. Stempelde de afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Plakte alles op de kaart en werkte het geheel af met oranje enamel dots.
