My Favorite Things November Release Countdown Day 1

 Hello all,

Today is the last day of the November release countdown of My Favorite Things and you know what that means right? Tommorow all the new products will be avaible! Did you decided on what you are going to get? Luckly you have one more night to think about it! Vandaag is de laatste dag van de november release countdown van My Favorite Things en je weet wat dat betekend! Morgen zullen alle nieuwe producten beschikbaar zijn. Heb je al besloten wat je zou willen hebben? Gelukkig kun je er nog een dag over nadenken!

Today i combined two of the newly releasing products, for the backgrounds i used the Wonderful Woods and the deer are from the So very Fawned of you set. 

Vandaag combineerde ik twee van de nieuwe release producten, voor de achtergrond gebruikte ik de Wonderful Woods en de herten op de voorzijde komen uit de So very Fawned of you set.

For my background i cut a Smooth White base and ink blended some Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink, cut the panel using the A2 Stitched Rectangle die. Stamped the trees in the colors Tickled Pink, Cotton Candy, Natural and Kraft. Cut a strip of snow using Smooth White cardstock and the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-Namics. Voor mijn achtergrond sneed ik een Smooth White rechthoek en bewerkte dit met Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink, stanste de rechthoek uit met een a2 stitched rechthoek stans. Stempelde de bomen met Tickled Pink, Cotton Candy, Natural en Kraft inkt. Stanste het sneeuw uit Smooth White cardstock met de Stiched Snow Drifts Die-Namics

Stamped the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Before glueing eveyrthing on a topfold Tickled Pink base card i splattered some white paint. Added evrything on the base card, heat embost the sentiment using gold embossing powder and cut it using a banner die. Stempelde de afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met bijpassende Die-Namics. Voordat ik alles op de basis plakte spetterde ik nog wat witte verf. Plakte toen alles op een Tickled Pink topfold basiskaart. Heat emboste de tekst en stanste het uit met een banner die.

My Favorite Things November Release Countdown Day 2

For today's card i decided to combine the Ice Princess and Friends together with the Baccarat Background. I really love the frosty outcome!

Voor mijn inspiratie kaart van vandaag besloot ik de Ice Princess and Friends te combineren met de Baccarat achtergrond stempel. Ik ben helemaal happy met de "koude" uitstraling van de kaart.

Heat embost the background on some watercolor paper using white embossing powder. Added Summer Splash and Tumbled glass in the background and splattered some water, white paint and Blu Raspberry mixed with water. Cut the panel using a stitched rectangle Die-Namics. Glued the panel on to a topfold Smooth White base card. Heat emboste de achtergrond op aquarel papier met wit embossing poeder. Mengde Summer Splash en Tumbled Glass op de achtergrond en spetterde er water, witte verf en Blu Raspberry met water op de het paneel. Stanste het geheel uit met een stitched rechthoekige stans en plakte het geheel op een Smooth White cardbase.

Stamped the images, colored them up and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Added some liqued Applicator on the place were the fur is. Die cut the snowflakes out of vellum, Smooth White and silver sparkle cardstock and added them on the card finishing of with a gem. Heat embost the sentiment on some Smooth White cardstock and finished of the card using some Transparant Nuvo Drops. Stempelde de afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit. Op de plekken waar bont zit heb ik wat liqued applicator aangebracht. Stanste de sneeuwvlokken uit Smooth White, vellum en zilver glitter papier, maakte er setjes van en werkte het af met een gem. Heat emboste de tekst met zilver embossingpoeder en werkte het geheel af met wat clear Nuvo Dropis.

My Favorite Things November Release Countdown Day 3

Hello all,

Welcome to day three of the November release countdown by My Favorite Things, we are halfway there! Hop gezellig mee langs alle design team leden voor meer inspiratie.

So for today's card i combined the I really Miss You Die-Namics with the very cute Winter Songbird. Totally love the big sentiments!

Voor de kaart van vandaag combineerde ik de I Really Miss You Die-Namics met de super leuke Winter Songbirds. Ik vind de grote teksten echt helemaal leuk!

So for my card i cut a Natural cardstock panel and added the Cable-Knit Sweater on to it using Natural ink (if you look really hard you will find it!). Added some Natural en Kraft ink to the sides for a vintage feel. Splattered some white ink and cut the letters out of Smooth White. Glued the Natural panel on a topfold Smooth White cardbase and added the sentiment. Voor mijn kaart sneed ik een Natural cardstock rechthoek en voegde het Cable-Knit Sweater patroon toe met Natural ink (als je goed kijkt zie je het!). Voegde wat Natural en Kraft ink aan de zijkanten toe voor een vintage gevoel. Spetterde er witte verf op en stanste de tekst uit Smooth White. Plakte de Natural basis op een topfold Smooth White basiskaart en plakte de tekst in het midden.

Stamped the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Added them to the cardbase and finished of the card using different seizes of clear sequins. Stempelde de afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende stansten. Plakte ze op de basiskaart en maakte de kaart af met verschillende maten clear sequins.

My Favorite Things November Release Countdown Day 4

 Hello all,

One day closer to the November release by My Favorite Things! Only four more days to go until the November release will be avaible! Dag 4 van de My Favorite Things november release countdown is hier, dat betekend dat het nu nog maar vier dagen duurt voordat de nieuwe release verkrijgbaar is!

Like yesterday i went for another interactive card today with out newest Movin' & Groovin' Die-Namics. They come in a regular seize and in a slimline seize! I combined it with the newest relase by Stacey Yacula called Frost-Loving Friends.

Net als gisteren heb ik ook vandaag een interactieve kaart en wel met de nieuwste Movin' & groovin' Die-Namics. Deze Die-Namics komt in de normale kaart maat uit maar ook in de slimline maat. Ik combineerde de slimline Movin' & Groovin' Die-Namics met de nieuwste stempel van Stacey Yacula genaamd Frost- Loving Friends.

So First i made the background panel using Speckled Egg, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress ink. Splattered some water and white paint and cut it using the Slimline starter Die-Namics. Starte met het maken van de achtergrond daarvoor gebruikte ik Speckled Egg, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress inkt. Spetterde er water en witte verf op en stanste het geheel uit met mijn Slimline Starter Die-Namics.

So after the background was done it was time to make the interactive part. It basicly works as a regular slider Die-Namics accept for the part it is Movin' & Groovin' (see what i did there ;)). So there is two label parts in the Die-Namics that i used on the end of the pulltape to make sure when i pulled the tab it was moving true the slider channel the right way, because the new slider channel is wobbly. Na de achtergrond was het tijd voor het interactieve gedeelte. Eigenlijk werkt de slider hetzelfde als een normale slider op het Movin' & Groovin' part na dan. Er zitten twee "labels" bij de stans deze bevestig je aan het einde van de slider om de pulltab te geleiden door het slider kanaal.

Cut the Snow border out of Smooth White and stamped one of the background elements on to it. Colored in the snow using my Copic Markers. Heat embost the sentiment on some Kraft cardstock and cut it into a banner. Stanste de snowborder uit Smooth White cardstock en stempelde er een van de achtergrond elementen op. Kleurde het in met mijn Copic markers en heat emboste de tekst op een stuk Kraft cardstock.

Stamped all the images, colored them up with my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Adhered everything to the base and glued the panel onto a topfold Smooth White base card. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Plakte alles op de basis en het geheel ging op een Smooth White topfold basiskaart.

My Favorite Things November Release Countdown Day 5

 Hello all,

It’s time for the My FavoriteThings November release countdown! During the countdown, the MFT Design Team is sharing lots of projects featuring all of the new products. The new release will officially be available on November 10th at 10:00 am EST (= Europe: November 10th at 4:00 pm CET). Het is tijd voor de My Favorite Things november release countdown! Nog 5 dagen en dan is de nieuwe release verkrijgbaar. Tijdens de countdown, laat het MFT Design Team verschillende projecten zien met alle nieuwe producten. De release zal verkrijgbaar zijn op 10 November om 10:00 am EST (in Nederland op 6 oktober om 16:00).

Today we are showcasing a new set by Birdie Brown called Pile on the Hugs, i combined the fun set with the Launch Party Die-Namics.

Vandaag laten we die nieuwste set van Birdie Brown zien genaamd Pile on the Hugs, ik combineerde de set met de Launch Party Die-Namics.

So first of i made the base, i cut a stitched rectangle out of pattern paper, cut the snow strip out of Smooth White, the trees out of Jelleybean Green, Smooth White and Kraft. From the Smooth white trees i cut the top using the snow die in the Snow Buddies set. Finished the trees, out of one tree i made a bush. Ik maakte eerst de basis, stanste een stitched rechthoek uit design papier, stanste de sneeuw uit Smooth White, de bomen uit Jellybean Green, Smooth White en Kraft. Uit de Smooth White bomen stanste ik het sneeuw met de extra stans uit de Snow Buddies set. Maakte de bomen compleet en veranderen één boom in een struik.

Stamped the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Die cut all the parts of the Launch Party Die-Namics out of Smooth White and acetate. Decided were i wanted the snowbal to be and assembled the mechanisme using Karolyn's video as a guide. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende stansen. Stanste alle onderdelen van de Launch Party Die-Namics uit Smooth white en acetate. Besloot waar ik de sneeuwbal wilde hebben en maakte het mechanisme door Karolyn's video te volgen.

Stamped the sentiment on to the panel and added everything to a topfold Smooth White base card. Stempelde de tekst op het design papier paneel en plakte alles op een topfold Smooth White basiskaart.

My Favorite Things Hits & Highlights

 Hello all,

Today i'm back with a project for My Favorite Things, today it's time for the Hits & Hightlights. The team inspires you with projects featuring a specific theme or products. Today we are showcasing the versatility of the Extraordinaire stencils. Vandaag ben ik er weer met een project voor My Favorite Things, vandaag is het tijd voor een Hits & Highlights. Het designteam inspireert jullie met een specifiek thema of product. Vandaag laten we de veelzijdigheid zijn van de Extraordinaire stencils.

I totally love the Extraordinaire stencils you have two different ways to use them and it save you a lot of masking tape ;). For my inpsiration card today i used the Star Extraordinaire stencil combined with the Sky-High Friends. Ik vind de Extraordinaire stencils super handig aangezien je ze op twee manieren kunt gebruiken daarnaast bespaart het je een hoop masking tape! Voor mijn inspiratiekaart van vandaag gebruik ik het Star Extraordinaire stencil gecombineerd met de Sky-High Friends.

Cut a Smooth White Topfold card, and added the Star stencil. Using Broken China, Chipped Saphire and Black Soot Distress ink i inked in the star, splattered some water and white paint and removed the stencil. Sneed een topfold Smooth White basiskaart en plakte tijdelijk het Sterren stencil. Met Broken China, Chipped Saphire and Black Soot Distress inkt inkte ik de ster, spetterde er water en witte verf op en verwijderde het stencil.

Stamped the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Heat embost the sentiment on to Black Licorice cardstock and cut it into a small banner. Stempelde de afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met bijpassende Die-Namics. Heat emboste de tekst op Black Licorice cardstock en sneed het in een smalle banner.

November Krafty Skrappin' (anything but a kard!) Challenge.

 Hello all / Hallo allemaal,

Today it's the first Tuesday of the month so we challenge you to play with our montly Skrappy Challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. For this challenge you can make anything you want tho....except a card!  So that means bookmarks, gifts, scrapbook pages, journal art, planner pages, tags, boxes...pretty much anything that includes a krafty stamp!! vandaag is het de eerste dinsdag van de maand en we dagen je uit om mee te doen met onze maandelijkse Skrappy Challenge van Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. Voor de challenge dagen we je uit om iets te maken behalve een kaart. Het mag dus alles zijn boekenleggers, cadeau's, scrapbook pagina's, journals, planner, tags, doosjes, ATC cards.

Just make sure to include a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp and make sure it's a NEW creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing, we'll be giving away a PRIZE!!!  yep!  One lucky krafter will WIN a $20 gift voucher to the krafty shop! 

Om mee te doen gebruik je een stempel van Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps en het moet iets nieuws zijn. Wanneer er (minimaal) 5 mensen meedoen, kun je kans maken op een giftcard van $20 (CAD) voor de Krafty Shop!

So as you all know by know i like to make ATC cards for the Skrappy Challenge, so today is no exception! Zoals jullie inmiddels wel weten als je me al langer volgt, ik maak voor de Skrappy challenge eigenlijk bijna altijd een serie ATC kaarten. Vandaag is daar geen uitzondering op!

For all three cards i started with the background, i mixed Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot and splattered some water and white paint. Cut it using the ATC die. Voor alle drie de kaarten begon ik met de achtergrond. Ik blende Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire en Black Soot en spetterde er water en witte verf op. Stanste het geheel uit met de ATC stans.

So i colored the angels live you can watch it back here. Stamped the Images and colored them up. Cut all the images using my Sciccors and glued them on the base card. I added some smoke out ot the chimney using a white Sharpie. Ik kleurde de engelen eerder online dat kun je hier terug kijken. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in en knipte alle afbeeldingen uit met een schaar. Plakte ze alle op de kaartjes. Met een witte Sharpie bracht ik de rook uit de schoorstenen aan.

Heat embost the sentiments onto black cardstock and cut them down to smaller banner. Added them to the card, i did not put them straight because it feels a bit more playfull like this. Heat emboste de teksten op zwart cardstock en sneed ze kleiner tot kleine banners. Plakte ze op de kaart, ik koos er bewust voor om ze schuin te doen omdat ik dit speelser vind.
