Krafty Peeks day 1: Kick-Assy Birthday

Hello all,

Welcome to Day ONE of our March release of 2018 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We have a theme for this month's stamp sets and it's a category that every stamper must have in their stash!

We're celebrating BIRTHDAYS!

Today we have a totally SASSY new set by artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen!! 

It's called KICK ASSY BIRTHDAY!!!

Used products; Blueprint 29, polychromos pencils, white embossingpowder, MFT hybride inkt, corner chopper, Black and white cardstock.

I made two of the same cards, one for a girl and one for a boy. It's a double white cardstock card 12 x 10 cm. I stamped the ballons with versafine ink and colored them with my Polychromos. I then heat embost the sentiment onto black cardstock and die cut it with a banner die from blueprint 29.

I adhered the banner to the card. I then stamped the sentiment "girl" and "dude". To finish of the cards i stamped the star with matching Hybrid ink colors.

Reminder - Guestdesigner Time Out Challenge

Hello Everyone,

Today i have the privilege to be a guestdesigner at Time Out Challenge´s. And today it's time for the reminder for our really awesome theme:

And this is my creation with the theme:

I started making the background using the Mini Cloud stencil en salty ocean distress ink. I die cut the letters from Neenah paper and colored them with my Copic Markers. Ik glued them onto the card using 3-d tape. 

I stamped the balloons and the chicks with memento ink and colored them up with my Copic Markers, i then die cut them with the matching dies. I glued them onto the card using 3-d tape. I then cut a double white card and glued some designpaper onto it. And then the rest of the card onto that.

Copic Colors used:
Pink - RV04, RV06, RV09
Orange - YR09, YR07, YR04
Yellow - Y17, Y15, Y13
Green - YG07, YG05, YG03
Blue - B04, B02, B00
Purple - V09, V06, V05, V04

Hallo allemaal / Hello everyone,

Vandaag een kaart die ik al een tijdje heb liggen maar nog niet geplaatst had, dus hier is hij dan! Ik ging aan de slag met de Ken Oliver poeders en ik kan je vertellen dat geeft echt een super leuk effect.

Gebruikte producten: Lawn Fawn otter, Surf en turf die-namic, interactive labels, Ken Oliver poeder, wit cardstock en vellum.

Ik maakte eerst de achtergrond om vervolgens de rest te maken. Ik stanste de achtergrond uit met de cross stitched staxx. Daarna maakte ik een gleuf met de surf en turf, achter de gleuf maakte ik een tag die er voor zorgt dat de otter op en neer kan. Een tap stans met het woord pull op de tag en dat gedeelte was klaar.

Ik kleurde de otter en de zuurstok in met copics en knipte deze op een wit randje na uit. De bijbhorende tekst stempelde ik met versafine op de kaart. Ik plakte met een "pilletje" de otter aan de tag. Ik maakte van Vellum een stuk "ijs" en plakte dit aan de achterkant vast. Het geheel plakte ik op een witte basiskaart met 3-d tape. Als laatste bracht ik nog wat transparante sequins aan.

Cheers, happy birthday

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag een kaartje dat ik maakte voor Scrap & Co, deze gaan volgende week naar de Creativa in Duitsland en ze vroeg of ik nog wat voorbeelden wilde maken. Ik heb hier en daar nog een plekje in mijn hele drukke schema, dus zo ging ik gisteren aan de slag met de leuke koffiekopjes van My Favorite Things.

Gebruikte producten: Wit embossingpoeder, aquarel papier, zwart en rood cardstock, vellum, peacock feather, picked raspberry en fired brick distress inkt. rectangle staxx, blueprint 15 en blueprint 27, Coffee date stamp en stans, Die-Namics Cheers, more essential sentiments, you make my heart spin (hart stempel), witte gelpen.

Ik stempelde op het aquarel papier de koffiekopjes en de hartjes met versamark inkt en heat emboste ze daarna met wit embossingpoeder en mijn heatgun. Ik kleurde ze in met mijn distress inkts en stanste daarna een rechthoek met blueprint 15. Ik plakte het op een zwarte dubbele basiskaart en bewerkt de kopjes en de hartjes met een witte gelpen. Ik herhaalde de stappen met nog twee kopjes en stanste deze uit met de bijbehorende stans.

Ik maakte een frame van zwart cardstock en plakte hier vellum achter. Uit rood cardstock stanste ik het woord Cheers en plaatste alles zoals ik het hebben wilde zodat ik de "warmtestreepjes" kon stempelen. Ook deze heatemboste ik met wit embossingpoeder. Plakte alles op de kaart en maakte als laatste de banner met een banner stans uit bueprint 27 en de essential sentiments stempel.

Copic Colourstock - How to; Copic colouring skin tones

Hallo Copic fans,

Vandaag heb ik voor jullie een video tutorial waarin ik laat zien hoe je een donkere huidskleur kleurt en daarnaast ook één hoe je een blanke huidskleur kunt kleuren.

Ik ging aan de slag met de digi-stempels An Ordinary Sunday van het DigistampAtelier en Baby fairy bee van Mo Manning, veel kijkplezier.

Hierbij de volledige uitwerking van de digitale stempel met  de donkere huidskleur en de bijbehorende Copic Markers.

Ook de baby fairy bee werd helemaal ingekleurd met Copic Markers.

Hopelijk vonden jullie de video tutorial leerzaam en zie ik op de Colourstock Facebookpagina snel jullie verschillende huidskleur afbeeldingen voorbij komen, tot de volgende tutorial!

Guestdesigner Time Out Challenge

Hello Everyone,

Today i have the privilege to be a guestdesigner at Time Out Challenge´s. And we have a really awesome theme:

And this is my creation with the theme:

I created a galaxy card using My Favorite Things Products. I started off making the background with distress ink. I used Wilted Violet, salty ocean, chipped saphire and black soot. I made some with spatters using white gesso mixed with water. I also made some spot just using water. I then stamped the sentiment Stars with black versafine ink onto the card and glued it on a piece of gold specialty paper.

I die cut the stars sentiment and glued it just a bit of the black ink. I heat embost the sentiment with White embossingpowder onto a strip of black cardstock and die cut it with the sentiment strip from blueprint 27. Glued it onto the card using 3-d tape and ended up glueing it onto a peace of white cardstock.
