My Favorite Things - Christmas Poinsettias Card Kit Release

Welke producten belanden bij jou in het mandje? Let op je budget maar heb vooral plezier met winkelen!

The Card Kit contains the Christmas Wishes stamp, the Winter Poinsettias Die-Namics, two sheets of each of the following colors; Smooth White,Red Hot and Wild Cherry and one sheet of the following colors; Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Jalepeno Popper, Black Licorice and Kraft. De Card Kit bestaat uit de Christmas Wishes Stempel, Winter Poinsettias Die-Namics, twee vellen van de volgende kleuren cardstock; Smooth White, Red Hot en Wild Cherry. En één vel van de volgende kleuren cardstock; Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Jalepeno Popper, Black Licorice en Kraft.

Offourse the supplies are sold separately, if you are only interested in a specific item. To complement the card kit, there are also two extra items being released; the Pressed Poinsettias Stamp and Christmas Wishes Die-Namics. Uiteraard zijn de producten ook los te koop, wanneer je alleen geïnteresseerd bent in één van de producten. Om de card kit te complimenteren zijn er nog twee extra items gereleased; De Pressed Poinsetta stempel en de Christmas Wishes Die-Namics.

For my card I went for a one layer card using the Pressed Poinsettias stamp together with the Christmas Wishes stamp. Cut a Smooth White topfold base card and started on stamping the flowers and foliage.

Voor mijn kaart maakte ik een een laags kaart met de Pressed Poinsettias Stempel samen met de Christmas Wishes stempel. Sneed een Smooth White topfold basis kaart en begon met het stempel van de bloemen en bladeren.

I used different colors of blue, teal and brown inks to create bouquet. To make the sentiment pop a bit more I stamped it using a black ink. To finish of the card I added some white gelpen details. Ik gebruikte verschillende kleuren blauw, teal en bruine inkten om de boeketten te maken. Stempelde de tekst met een zwarte inkt om hem eruit te laten komen. Werkte de kaart af met wat witte gelpen details.

My Favorite Things December Release Countdown Day 4

 Hello all,

One day closer to the December release by My Favorite Things! Only four more days to go until the new release will be avaible! Dag 4 van de My Favorite Things december release countdown is hier, dat betekend dat het nu nog maar vier dagen duurt voordat de nieuwe release verkrijgbaar is!

Today we have some more stamps for you in store, not alot coloring stamps so far but if you like to create your own backgrounds the Full Circle Stamp is right up your ally. I combined it with the A Very Big Hi Die-Namics and created two cards.

Vandaag hebben we nog een aantal stempels voor je, maar het kleuren dat zit er nog even niet in. Wanneer je het leuk vind om zelf achtergronden te maken dan is de Full Circle stempel helemaal naar je straatje. Ik maakte weer eens een duo kaarten en combineerde het met de A Very Big Hi Die-Namics.

If you are a subscriber of the My Favorite Things Newsletter, than you might have find a tutorial of the card in your mailbox today! So like I said I made a duo of cards using MFT inks and Cardstock.

Wanneer je een subsciptie hebt op de My Favorite Things Newsletter, dan kan het zijn dat je vandaag een tutorial hebt gekregen van deze kaart! Ik maakte zoals gezegd een duo kaarten met verschillende kleuren MFT inkten en cardstock.

Stamped the backgrounds using; Cotton Candy, Lemon Drop, Orange Zest, Limelight, Summer Splash, Grape Jelly and Black Licorice inks. Added some splatters using the Distressed Pattern.

Stempelde de achtergronden met de kleuren; Cotton Candy, Lemon Drop, Orange Zest, Limelight, Summer Splash, Grape Jelly and Black Licorice inkt. Stempelde nog wat extra spetters met de Distressed Pattern stempel.

For both cards I also created a matching envelop using the same products and added a sentiment out of the Hand-Stamped orginal.

Voor beide kaarten maakte ik ook nog een bijpassende envelop. Ik gebruikte hiervoor dezelfde producten en voegde alleen een tekst toe uit de Hand-Stamped Orginal stempelset.

To finish the card I die cut the A Very Big Hi Die-Namics out of Smooth White. Heat set the sentiment out of the Itty Bitty Celebrations on some Black Licorice and trimmed it to a banner. Om de kaart af te maken stanste ik de A Very Big Hi Die-Namics uit Smooth White cardstock. Heat emboste de tekst uit de Itty Bitty Celebrations op Black Licorice cardstock en stanste het tot een banner.

My Favorite Things December Release Countdown Day 5

It’s time for the My FavoriteThings December release countdown! During the countdown, the MFT Design Team is sharing lots of projects featuring all of the new products. The new release will officially be available on December 6th at 10:00 am EST (= Europe: December 6th at 4:00 pm CET). Het is tijd voor de My Favorite Things december release countdown! Nog 5 dagen en dan is de nieuwe release verkrijgbaar. Tijdens de countdown, laat het MFT Design Team verschillende projecten zien met alle nieuwe producten. De release zal verkrijgbaar zijn op 6 december om 10:00 am EST (in Nederland op  december om 16:00)

Are you ready for the last release of this year?? We are going out with a bang I can tell you! For today we are showcasing you Festive Fireworks that match perfectly with the Banner Day Celebrations with the matching It's a Banner Day Die-Namics. And to top it of we also are introducing you to the Outline and Solid Numbers Die-Namics.

Zijn jullie klaar voor de allerlaatste maandelijkse release van dit jaar?? We gaan er uit met een boom en een knal! Voor vandaag laten we de Festive Fireworks zien die perfect samen gaat met de Banner Day Celebrations en de bijpassende It's a Banner Day Die-Namics. En om het geheel compleet te maken introduceren we ook de Outline en Solid Numbers Die-Namics.

For my inspiration card for today I cut a a2 seize topfold basecard and stamped the fireworks onto them using teal, blue and brown inks. Stamped te sentiment "happy" on some Smooth White cardstock and trimmed it down. Heat set the other sentiment on Kraft can die cut it using the It's a Banner Day Die-Namics.

Voor mijn inspiratie kaart van vandaag sneed ik een A2 topfold Smooth White basiskaart en stempelde hier het vuurwerk op met teal, blauw en bruine inkten. Stempelde op Smooth White cardstock de tekst "happy" en stansten uit. Op Kraft cardstock heat emboste ik de andere tekst en stanste hem uit met de Banner Day Die-Namics.

Die cut the numbers out of Smooth White and Blue Yonder cardstock and adhered them together. Adhered the sentiments on top of the numbers and finished off adding some mat pearls. Stanste uit Smooth White en Blue Yonder cardstock de cijfers en plakte alles op de kaart. Werkte het geheel af met wat mat zilveren parels.

My Favorite Things November Release Countdown Day 2

Today we are shwocasing products in my second favorite theme Coffee! For some strange reason I just like coffee themed products for cardmaking. So I decided to combine the Coffee and Conversation together with the Mini Mugs Die-Namics.

Vandaag laten we producten zien die in het thema wat op de tweede plaats staat als het om kaarten maken gaat namelijk koffie. Om één of andere reden ben ik weg van koffie thema kaarten. Ik maakte daarom een kaart waarbij de ik de Coffee and Conversation stempel combineerde met de Mini Mugs Die-Namics.

The base of my card is a sidefold Smooth White basecard, on the bottom of the card I stamped some splatters using the Distressed Patterns and Brushed Corduroy Distress ink. Cut a Kraft rectangle 3 x 51/2 inch and adhered some Black Licorice cardstock onto it. Heat set the sentiment and adhered it to the card using foam tape.

De basis van de kaart is een Smooth White sidefold basiskaart, de onderkant van de kaart bestempelde ik met spetters. Hiervoor gebruikte ik de Distressed patterns stempel en Brushed Corduroy Distress inkt. Sneed een Kraft rechthoek 3 x 51/2 inch en plakte hier een Black Licorice cardstock op. Heat emboste de tekst en plakte het met foam tape op de kaart.

Die cut the Mini Mugs Die-Namics out of  Kraft, the label out of Smooth White and the lid and heart using different colors of cardstock. Glued them together and onto the card. Finished the card of with a red heart and I added some "dust stripes" using my anti static powder to give it a chalkboard look. Stanste de Mini Mugs Die-Namics uit kraft, het label uit Smooth White en de deksels en hartjes uit verschillende kleuren cardstock. Plakte ze tot een geheel en op de kaart. Werkte de kaart af met een rood hartje en met mijn anti statisch zakje maakte ik "stof strepen" op het zwart zodat het op een schoolkrijt bord lijkt.

My Favorite Things - Vault Release Countdown day 1

 Hello all,

One more day to go and then all the Vault Release products by My Favorite Things will be for sale! So set your alarm clocks and make sure you are on time! Nog een dag te gaan en dan zijn de Vault Release producten van My Favorite Things verkrijgbaar! Dus zet je wekker en zorg dat je niet te laat bent!

For today I decided on making a Clean and Simple card using the Happy Birthday Candles stamp. I love that it is just one stamp and such a fun simple card!

Voor vandaag maakte ik een Clean en Simple kaart met de Happy Birthday Candles stempel. Ik vind het helemaal tof dat je met één stempel zo'n simpele kaart kunt maken!

Cut a topfold Smooth White base card. Stamped the Candles using the following MFT Dye Ink colors: Cotton Candy, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Limelight, Field Day, Summer Splash, Caribbean Sea, Grape Jelly. 

Sneed een Smooth White topfold basiskaart. Stempelde de kaarsen met de vlgende kleuren MFT Dye Inkten: Cotton Candy, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Limelight, Field Day, Summer Splash, Caribbean Sea, Grape Jelly.

Stamped the fuse using Cement Gray and the fire with Butterscotch. Then I took the sentiments and stamped those with a black ink. To give the card a bit more spice I added some details using my colored pencils. Stempelde het lont met Cement Gray en het vlammetje met Butterscotch. Stempelde daarna allebei de teksten met een zwarte inkt. Om de kaart wat meer detail te geven kleurde ik de kaarsen en vlammen in met mijn kleurpotloden.

My Favorite Things July Release Countdown Day 2

More Birthday products! Yes you read that right, because My Favorite Things is celebrating there 10th Birthday this release is all about Birthday's! For today's inspiration I created yet another duo of cards using the Happy Happy Birthday.

Nog meer verjaardag producten! Ja je leest het inderdaad goed, omdat My Favorite Things deze maand hun 10de verjaardag viert staat deze release helemaal in het teken van verjaardagen. Voor mijn inspiratie van vandaag maakte ik nogmaals een duo kaarten ditmaal met de Happy Happy Birthday.

For both cards I did excactly the same, the only difference is that I used three different main colors for each card. 

Voor beide kaarten deed ik hetzelfde, het enige verschil is dat ik voor beide kaarten drie andere hoofdkleuren gebruikte.

I cut two Smooth White rectangles and stamped the bold sentiment in the colors Cotton Candy, Orange Zest and Lemon Drop. Stamped the outline using Cement Gray and the Birthday with a black ink.

Sneed twee Smooth White recththoeken en stempelde de kleure Cotton Candy, Orange Zest en Lemon Drop. Stempelde de outline met Cement Gray en de Birthday met een zwarte inkt.

For the other card I used the colors Limelight, Summer Splash and Grape Jelly. 

Voor de andere kaart gebruikte ik de kleuren Limelight, Summer Splash en Grape Jelly.

Cut strips of the matching colors cardstock and adhered them on to a Smooth White topfold base card. Added the stamped rectangle on the base card using foam tape. Finished the card of adding some clear bubbles. Sneed strips uit de bijpassende kleuren cardstock en plakte deze op een Smooth White topfold basis kaart. Plakte de gestempelde rechthoek met foam tape op de kaart. Werkte het geheel af met doorizchtige bubbles.

So what is going to be in your shopping card this time? For my latest card I decided on going for a Clean and Simple card using the Abstract Art together with the Paint Brushes Die-Namics.

En wat ga jij halen van deze vault release? Ik maakte voor mijn inspiratie kaart van vandaag een Clean en Simple kaart met de Abstract Art en de Paint Brushes Die-Namics

Cut a Smooth White topfold base card and stamped the paint stripe out of the Abstract Art stamp in the colors Poppin' Pink, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Limelight, Summer Splash and Grape Jelly. Stamped the sentiment under it using a black ink.

Sneed een Smooth White topfold basiskaart en stempelde een verf streep uit de Abstract Art stempel in de kleuren Poppin' Pink, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Limelight, Summer Splash en Grape Jelly. Stempelde daarna de tekst met zwarte inkt.

Stamped the image out of the Unicorns and Glitter stamp, colored it up using my Copic marker and cut it using the matching Die-Namics. Die cut the paint brush out of Kraft, Silver cardstock and Grape Jelly. Asembled it and glued it onto the dog. Adhered the image on the card using foamtape. Stempelde de afbeelding uit de Unicorn en Glitter stempel, kleurde hem in met mijn Copic markers en stanste hem uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Stanste de kwast uit Kraft, Zilver Cardstock en Grape Jelly. Plakte de kwast in elkaar en op de hond. Plakte daarna de afbeelding op de kaart met foamtape.

Black - N8, N6, N4, N2

Blue - B02, B00, B000, B0000

My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day 2

Fot today's card i went a bit out of my comfort zone making a stamping technique i never used before and it did not come easily. The Love you big time is great using this technique.

Voor de kaart van vandaag ging ik uit mijn comfort zone en gebruikte een techniek die ik nog niet eerder gebruikt heb, ik kan je vertellen het was een hele uitdaging. De stempel Love you Big time was er perfect  voor!

First i cut a Smooth White rectangle and added the Love You stamp on to it using my Misti. So what i did first for every letter is masking the others i did not need. Then stamp the letter in the lighest color. Then clean it up and stamp it again in the larger color. But before stamping i clean off half of the letter.

Eerst sneed ik een Smooth White rechthoek en met mijn Misti plaatste ik de Love You stempel op de plek waar ik hem wilde hebben. Bij alle letters deed ik hetzelfde namelijk; maskeren van de letters die ik niet gebruikt. Dan stempelde ik de betreffende letter in de lichtste kleur. Maakte hem schoon en inkte de letter in een donkerdere kleur. Maar voor ik stempelde maakte ik de helft van de letter schoon.

Heat embost the sentiment on some Black Licorice and cut it using a banner die. Adhered the stamped rectangle on a Grout Gray base card. Finished it of using some clear crystals. Heat emboste de tekst op Black Licorice en stanste het uit. Plakte het geheel op een topfold Grout Grey basiskaart en werkte ghet geheel af met wat doorzichtige crystals.

My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #521

 Hello all!

Today i'm back again with a new Sketch Challenge by My Favorite Things. This week i decided to make another Christmas card i thought i had enough a while back but this year we received more Christmas cards then last year Vandaag ben ik er weer met een nieuwe schets challenge van My Favorite Things. Deze week maakte ik een kerstkaart, ik dacht dat ik een aantal weken geleden genoeg 

Using different colors of ink onto a Summer Splash card base with a base off Smooth White snow the golden trees from the Wonderful Woods really pop! 

Met verschillende kleuren inkt op een Summer Splash basis kaart, gemixt met een witte sneeuwbodem zorgen ervoor dat de gouden bomen uit de Wonderfull Woods set helemaal er uit springen! 

On a piece of Summer Splash cardstock i added some Blu Raspberry and Tropical Teal ink. Cut it using a rectangle stitched die and splattered some white and gold on to it. Heat embost the trees and cut two borders of Snow white snow. Op een stuk Summer Splash cardstock voegde ik een laag Blu Raspberry en Tropical Teal inkt toe. Stanste het uit met een stitched rechthoekige stans en spetterde er wit en goud op. Heat emboste de bomen en stanste twee lagen sneeuw uit Smooth White cardstock.

Heat embost the sentiment on some Snow White cardstock and added some sequins to finish it of. Added the panel to a topfold Smooth White cardbase. Heat emboste de tekst op Smooth White cardstock, voegde wat sequins toe aan de kaart en plakte het geheel op een topfold Smooth White basiskaart.

October release and krafty hop!

Hello everyone!

And the day has come that the October Release by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps is available! Go quickly to the shop and make sure to buy all our new goodies!

For my hop day i decided to make a clean and simple set of ATC cards. I cut some white base cards and used the three solid trees combined with six different ink colors to make a rainbow row of trees. To finish of the cards i used the sentiments out of a different stamp.

Krafty Peeks day 2: Solid holiday

Hello all,

Welcome back to Day Two of our October Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Today we are sharing another solid stamping set called Solid Holiday. It's a stamp perfect to make a quick and easy card or to make fabulous backgrounds yourself!

The set contains 11 images and 1 sentiment matching the deer stamp. I can see you brain working already on some fun ideas using the versatile set!

For my card i decided to use the reindeer stamp together with the sentiment. On a piece of kraft cardstock i stamped the reindeer in different colors ink and in different directions. With a red pencil i added some dots. I glued the panel on to a topfold red card base. 

I figured it looked a bit plain so on every reindeer i added some googling eyes, a mouth and a nose. Off course one reindeer needed a red nose! The sentiment i heat embost on the same red cardstock and cut it down to a correct seize and glued it on the card.
