Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge - Ladies/woman or girls

Hallo allemaal / Hello everybody!

Today it's Saturday which means a new challenge started over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog, today the theme is Ladies/woman or girls! A really easy theme if you ask me!, so pull out your Feminine stuff and play along!

Used Products; Friends to the finish stamp, Dutch Doobadoo shape art mal (470.713.143). Dutch Doobadoo Stencil art numbers (470.455.003), Maja Design papers, Twine, Pin, Noor Design / Marianne Design  and Craft emotions dies, Doily, i'm roses flowers. 

I glued the background paper on a piece of cardstock and then cut the shape using the shape art mal. I made another square with white cardstock and some designpaper. I placed a doily behind it. I die cut a designpaper using a circle die and i cut one myself because i did not have the right size. I then took over the numbers on white cardstock and designpaper and distressed everything using walnut stain distress ink.

With twine and dies i made the flags, "60" and the name Joke. Glued it on the card. Stamped and die cut the sentiment and pinned this in the pin. I put some flowers there to finish the card.

I stamped the image on designpaper as well on some Neenah papers. Paperpieced the jacket and colored in the rest using Copic Markers. I ended up fussy cutting the image and adhered her on to the card.

Eén layout twee kaarten.

En hier was dan de laatste voor de Summer School Part 2. De opdracht is regenboog, nou aardig gelukt dacht ik zo. De nieuwe release was bij Sandra ook binnen gekomen en ze vroeg me weer voorbeelden te maken. Ik had dit concept in mijn hoofd en dacht meteen twee layouts maar twee totaal verschillende doeleinde.

Gebruikte Producten: Fluttering Friends stempel en stans, Essential sentiments stempel en Neutral colors striped and dot paperpack (retired), distress inkt, Altenew splash of color stempel en enamel dots. 

Op de grootste verf splatter deed ik wat distress inkt, deze sprayde ik met water en stempelde het op stempel papier en liet het aan de lucht drogen. Onder plakte ik een strip met zwart en wit gestreept designpapier. De tekst heat emboste ik op zwart cardstock en knipte ik schuin af. En plakte als laatste wat enamel dots op.

Stempel en stanste de libelle en kleurde hem in met V09, V06, V04, YG17, YG13, YG11, RV17, RV14, Rv13, Y17, Y15, Y13, YR07, YR04, YR02, B04, B02, B00, N9, N7, N5. Bewerkte de vleugels met wink of stella clear brush en plakte hem op de basis.

Voor deze kaart deed ik hetzelfde alleen gebruikte ik drie verschillende kleuren distress inkt en een ander streepje.

De libelle kleurde ik in met BG78, BG75, BG72, B97, B95, B92, N9, N7, N5, C5, C3 en C1.

MFT Summer School part 2

Hallo allemaal,

Deze week een aantal kaarten gemaakt voor de Summer School van My Favorite Things. Ik maakte twee kaarten en combineerde zo een viertal opdrachten en daarnaast maakte ik meteen een kaart voor de schets van deze week.

Gebruikte producten: Gill Friends stempel en stans, Balloon strings Background stempel.

Ik maskte het gedeelte af en stempelde de achtergrond stempel met versamark inkt en maakte het blauw met de ombre techniek. Ik gebruikte Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean en Tumbled glass distress inkt. Stempelde de tekst op een stuk wit cardstock en plakte dit op.

De vissen stempelde ik op copic papier en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic Markers. Stanste ze uit en plakte ze op de kaart. Ik voegde nog wat nuvo drops toe om de schets te volgen.

Voor de tweede kaart ging ik voor de opdrachten visual triangle (kan ook bij de vorige) en Focal point.

Gebruikte materialen: Safari Friends stempel en stans, Die-Namics blueprint 15, Die-Namics grassy fields, Die-Namics safari tree (retired), mini cloud stencil.

Eerst maakte ik de onderkant een beetje blauw met Salty ocean distress inkt en daarna nog wat wolken aan één zijde. Ik stanste de boom uit en bewerkte deze met distress inkt. Plakte het op de kaart.

Het gras stanste ik uit groen cardstock en bewerkte ook dit met distress inkt.

Stempelde de leeuw, bladeren en de vogel en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic Markers. stanste alles uit met de bijbehorende stansen en plakte alles op de kaart.

August release and krafty hop!

Halle allemaal / Hello Everyone,

Woohoo! It's finally here!! Today we are celebrating the release of ALL of our NEW August stamps.

ALL Five new sets are available and the new Krafty Inks are in the Krafty Shop!

I Made another card using the Spooky Silhouettes stamp!

Used products; Wicked Black hybrid Ink, Antique linnen, Victorian velvet, Seedles preserve, Chipped sapphire, Black soot distress ink, white gelpen, Die-Namics stitched rectangle stax 1, Die-namics grassy fields.

First i die cut the grass with masking paper and glued it on a piece of cardstock. I then made the background using the distress ink in the order as discribed above. I die cut the frame and stamped the images several times with Wicked black so the images would look really dark. I colored the grass with my Copic Marker and finished the card using a white gel pen to make it more of a nightsky.

Krafty Peeks day 5: Out of this world + a challenge

Hallo Everybody,

Welcome to Day FIVE of our August Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Today we are showcasing a fun and versatile set by artist Cheryl Grant called Spooky suckers!

Used products: Die-Namics birch trees, Die- Namics grassy hills, Mini cloud edges stencil, Die-Namics Grassy Fields, Die-Namics Volcano, Wicked Black, Marvelous Mocha, Mossy Meadow hybrid ink

I first stamped up all the images and then colored them up using my Copic markers. I fussy cut them out and set them apart.

I die cut all the dies and distressed them using the hybrid ink. Made the background using the stencil and salty ocean distress ink.

Krafty Peeks day 4: Spooky Silhouettes + 3 new Krafty Kolours

Hallo allemaal / Hello Everybody!

Good morning and welcome to Day Four of our August New Release Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we have an absolutely fun and versatile set by artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen!! It's called Spooky Silhouettes, and like the titel says there are a lot of silhouettes stamps including some fun sentiments to make a set of cards!

And if that is not enough we are releasing Three new Krafty Kolours! Purple Petunia, Mossy Meadow and Pumpkin Patch.

Used products; Purple Petunia, Mossy Meadow and Pumpkin Patch and Wicked Black hybrid ink, Marianne design ATC die, Yvonne Creations halloween die, Dutch Doobadoo Black and white ATC cards.

With all the three background i did the same, i made them Green, Orange and Purple, i also inked the edges using the black hybrid ink. 

I die cut the town out of black cardstock and glued it onto the distressed card. I then die cut it using the ATC die by Marianne design.

In all the three different ATC cards i stamped three different sentiments, i also stamped the three ghosts out of the Spooky Silhouettes set. I then glued al the finished card on some black cardstock, that i have die cut with the large ATC die.

Krafty Peek day 2: Spooky Suckers

Hello all,

Welcome to Day two of our August release of 2018 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are starting with  showcasing this fun stamp set by Emilie Goulet! She made a really fun set called Spooky Suckers!

Used products; Distress ink, Die-Namics stitched rectangle stax, black and white striped paperpad, Die-Namics tag builder blueprint 5. 

First off i made the background using Chipped sapphire, Broken China, Black soot, Fossilized amber, Weathered wood and Squeezed lemonade. I splattered some water and some white gesso mixed with water onto the base. I then die cut it using a rectangle die. I stamped the three ghosts on the card and made the eyes white with a white gelpen.

Glued the panel on a base top fold card. On de sides i glued two stripes of black and white striped design paper. I stamped the image and colored him up using my Copic Markers. I fussy cut him out en glued him on the base. I heat embossed the sentiment on some black cardstock and die cut the sentiment with a banner from the tag builder blueprint.

Happy Birthday

Hallo allemaal,

Van het weekend ging ik nog even aan de slag met de My Favorite Things birthday challenge met de opdracht confetti. Ik maakte er weer een heel project van maar ben blij met het eindresultaat.

Gebruikte Prodcuten: Die-Namics Big birthday, Happy hippos stans en stempel, Adorable Elephant stans en stempel, black and white striped paperpad, Die-namics a2 stitched rectangle stax 1, Die-Namics stitched strip, Cement Grey hybrid ink.

Als eerste stanste ik een wit rechthoek uit Neenah papier, bepaalde het midden en stanste de word die. De stans stanste ik vervolgens uit zes verschillende soorten cardstock en drie maal uit zwart cardstock. Plakte een wit stuk cardstock achter de witte rechthoek en plakte de letters weer terug op zijn plaats.

Van de restjes van het gekleurde cardstock stanste ik de sterren en rondjes van de Die-Namics stitched strip en plakte deze later op de kaart nadat ik bepaald had waar de olifant kwam. 

Op Neenah papier stempelde ik het nijlpaard, de olifant, de ballonnen en twee maal het hoedje met Cement grey. Ik kleurde alles in met de No Lines techniek en stanste alles uit met de bijbehorende stansen. Plakte alles op de kaart en maakte de zwarte strip achter de rechthoek daaronder maakte ik twee stripjes van designpapier.

Gebruikte Copic Kleuren:

Olifant/Nijlpaard - C5, C3, C1, C0, C00 W9, W7, W5, W3 

Ballonnen - RV19, RV17, RV14, YG07, YG05, YG03, Y17, Y15, Y13, W7, W5

Hoedjes - BG18, BG15, BG13, V09, V06, V05, V04 en een witte gelpen.

Er is er één jarig boera boera.

Hallo allemaal,

Zo ging ik gisteren nog even op het nippertje aan de gang met de challenge op het Marianne Design blog. Na even wat nadenken klaar leggen verschuiven en weer wat anders had ik het in mijn hoofd klaar en ging aan de slag.

Gebruikte Producten; COL1427, LR0395, CR1355, CR1397, CR1394, PK9114, HT1606 en CS0987

Ik bedacht dat ik de stans LR0395 wel als hek zou kunnen gebruiken en stanste hem uit kraft. Van groen cardstock deed ik dit nogmaals en knipte het langs de stiklijn uit. Uit twee verschillende groen cardstock stanste ik het gras en uit kraft één maal het zand. Bewerkte dit met distress inkt en plakte het op elkaar.

Uit cardstock stanste ik de boerderij en plakte het aan elkaar. Onder het hek plakte ik hem op en stempelde de tekst met versafine zwarte inkt.

Op Copic papier stempelde ik de koe, het varken, de ballonnen, het hoedje en de slingers en kleurde dit in mijn Copic Markers. Ik knipte daarna alles uit met mijn schaar en plakte het op de kaart. De ballonnen en de slingers bewerkte ik met Glossy Accent. Als afwerking plakte ik wat roze en gele bloemen op het gras.

Used Products; Wicked Black and Marvellous Mocha Hybrid ink, From the Otter side, Manatee Pals, Die-Namics stitched snow drifts, Die-Namics stitched rectangle stax 1, Die-Namics surf & turf, Die-Namics circle spinner, Radiating rays stencil.

Started with making a background using Cracked pistashio, Peacock feathers and Broken China distress ink. With Picket fence and the stencil i made the sun rays on the top left. I splattered some water and some Broken China mixed with water to give it a bit of contrast. I die cut it with the largest rectangle.

From kraft paper i made two sandbanks using Stitched snowdrifts Die-Namics and Marvellous Mocha, made some splatters with the Marvellous Mocha mixed with water. And glued them on the panel.

First i stamped the sentiment and then with the circle spinner die i die cut the big slider slot and glued the big panel on the card using 3-d tape and the small part with glue. From a leftover peace of cardstock i made two circle using the surf and turf die and made a sandwich using the slider element in between.

Stamped the Manatee and colored him in with Copic Markers, i fussy cut him out leaving a with border and decided were i wanted him in the spinner slot. Put the sandwich in between the slider slot so it can move and then attached the manatee to it.

I stamped the rest of the images from the Otter side and Manatee Pals stamps with Wicked Black hybride ink and colored them up using my Copic Markers. Fussy cutted everything leaving i white border. I finished of the card using a white gelpen here and there.

Soms moet je gewoon even iets nieuws proberen. Ik vindt het namelijk behoorlijk lastig om tijdens het maken van kaarten de voorwerpen niet de kleur te geven die ze in het dagelijks leven zijn, zoals de bomen oranje en paard in plaats van groen en bruin. Een hele goede uitdaging dus om het eens te proberen zijn de kleuren challenge's van My Favorite Things.

Gebruikte Producten: Town Bear stempel, In Paris stempel, No place like home stempel (retired), Die Namics stichted snow drift, Die-Namics a2 rectangle stax, Die-Namics open road, mini cloud stencil.

Uit perzikkleurig cardstock stanste ik de rechthoek en die stanste ik daarna met de snowdrifts, op het "gras" stempelde ik de tekst met versamark inkt en heat emboste het met wit embossingpoeder.

Uit twee verschillende soorten paars cardstock stanste ik de weg en plakte dit op de kaart. Van wit cardstock stanste ik nogmaals de rechthoek en maakte wolken met het stencil en Lavender Fields distress inkt. En plakte dit op elkaar.

De bomen en het huis stempelde ik op Copic papier en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic Markers. Daarna knipte ik ze uit en plakte ze op de kaart met lijn of 3-d tape. Als laatste stempelde ik de hartjes, kleurde deze ook in en bewerkte ze met Glossy accent.

Paars - BV17, BV13, BV11, BV08, V09, V17

Oranje - YR00, YR01, YR02, YR27, YR23, YR21, YR20

Products used; Bo Bunny design papers, World of Wonder, Wicked Black hybrid ink, Die-Namics stitched oval, mini edges cloud stencil, pearls, Creatable hibiscus and tropical leaves.

First of i die cut a panel from design paper. Glued it onto a black top fold using 3-d tape. I die cut a black frame with the stitched oval. Die cut another time this time out of white cardstock. I made some clouds onto it using the stencil en Salty Ocean distress ink. Glued the panel on the card using 3-d tape. The inside is glued on the base with normal glue.

Die cut the leaves in two different green cardstock and distress them using Forest moss and Mowed lawn distress ink. Die cut the flower part and glued them together to become flowers. I die cut the sunglasses and the middle and put some glossy accent on the glasses. Stamped the sentiment and cut it out. Added some red pearls in the corners.

Stamped the images with Wicked Black hybride ink. Colored them in using my Copic Markers and fussy cut them leaving a white border behind. I ended up leaving glued the image on the card using 3-d tape.

Copic Colourstock - How to; Color leather with Copic markers.

Hallo Copic fans,

Vandaag heb ik voor jullie een video tutorial waarin ik laat zien hoe je

leer kunt kleuren met het gebruik van Copic Markers en een witte of zwarte fineliner. Voor de tutorial gebruikte ik: E29, E27, E25, E23 en E21. Twee verschillende zwarte fineliners van Molotov en een witte gelpen.

Ik ging aan de slag met de Viking en Make yourself at home (retired) van My Favorite Things. Veel kijkplezier.

Hierbij de volledige uitwerking van de kaart, het schild achter de viking kleurde en tekende ik zelf. Ik gebruikte de zelfde kleuren als bij de stempel.

Hopelijk vonden jullie de video tutorial leerzaam en zie ik op de Colourstock Facebookpagina snel jullie verschillende leren spullen voorbij komen, tot de volgende tutorial!
