Gastdesigner Dutch Card Lovers - Mood board

Hallo allemaal,

Twee weken geleden won ik de challenge bij het Dutch Card Lovers blog, ik mocht als prijs een keer gast designer zijn en dat laat ik me natuurlijk geen twee keer aan me voorbij gaan. Deze keer is de uitdaging om gebruik te maken van een Mood board. Toen ik de eerste keer het mood board zag moest ik wel even slikken wat het is een wel een hele uitgesproken kleurencombinatie. Maar ik laat me niet zomaar uit het veld slaan dus zo ging ik er woensdagavond mee aan de slag met deze kaart als resultaat.

Voor de basis gebruikte ik een stencil en grijze inkt. Ik bracht de stenen aan en spetterde er daarna met wat witte inkt op de stenen om het zo een beetje te breken. Stanste het uit met een rechthoekige stans en daarna nogmaals met de ronde stans voor de bovenzijde.

Stanste het raam uit verschillende kleuren cardstock en designpapier en plakte alles aan elkaar. Sneed een stuk wit cardstock en stempelde er de harten op met een achtergrond stempel en plakte dit achter het raam. 

De tekst heat emboste ik op een stuk donkergrijs cardstock en plakte ik op het geheel. Daarover ging dan weer het raam .

Stempelde de kat, vlinders en de tak en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers. Stanste ze uit met bijbehorende stansen en plakte ze op de kaart. Dit alles ging op een wit stuk cardstock en daarna op een topfold donker grijze kaart.

Dit was het mood board wat we hoorde te volgen en sommige hebben misschien al wel gezien dat ik de schets van My Favorite Things heb gebruikt om de kaart te maken.

Krafty Peek day 2: Polar Pals, two new Krafty inks and Krafty Stencils!

Hello all,

Welcome to day 1 of the November Krafty peeks by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps and today we have some excitement going on! You all know Kim release Hybrid Inks this year but on top of that she decided to start making and selling here own stencils! How totally awesome is that? 

So today we are showcasing, not only this awesome stamp called Polar Pals, but we are also showcasing two new ink colors, a pretty blue with the name Bubbly Blue and a grey called Granite Grey. If that is not enough we are also showcasing two stencils today! Sweater Weather and Sparkling Snowflakes.

Used products for my cards: Kraft and white cardstock, Die-Namics stitched rectangle staxx, Die-Namics snowdrifts, Structure paste, Purple Pansy.

For the raccoon card, i used the Weather Sweather stencil and Bubbly Blue ink to make the background. I Stamped the sentiment using Wicked Black and die cut it using the rectangle stax. I die cut the snow and distressed it using the Granite Grey. Stamped the image with Wicked black and colored it using my Copic Markers.

For the polar pal, i first made a background using Purple Pansy and the i made used the Snowflake stencil combined with some structure paste. I stamped the sentiment using Wicked black. For the snow i did the same as for the Racoon card. Stamped the images also using Wicked Black. Colored it using my Copic Markers and fussy cut it leaving a white border.

Krafty Peek day 3: Holiday village + Anything Goes challenge

Hello everyone! 

Today is day three of the  October release of Kraftin' Kimmie stamps and today we are showcasing a set by artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen! Secretly i think this is my personal favorite from this release.

And it's called Holiday village!

It's a versatile stamp which contains 18 images and five sentiments!

Used products: Wicked Black, Enchanting Emerald and Ruby Red hybride inks, Die-Namics snowdrifts, Die-Namics single stitched circle frame.

With masking paper i cut a panel 10 x 10 cm and die cut it using a circle die. I adhered it to the front of the card. Using the Enchanting Emerald and Ruby Red hybrid inks i made the backgrounds. 

Die cut the circle frames six times and set them aside. Then i die cut the snow and stamped the sentiments using Wicked black. I adhered the snow between layer one and two and cut the sides. Then i adhered the rest of the circles.

Stamped the images using Wicked black and colored them in using my Copic Markers. Fussy cut all the images and arranged them the way i wanted. I ended up stamping the Santa with Wicked black on the red card and using some crystal Nuvo drops on the Green card,

Krafty Peeks day 4: Spooky Silhouettes + 3 new Krafty Kolours

Hallo allemaal / Hello Everybody!

Good morning and welcome to Day Four of our August New Release Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we have an absolutely fun and versatile set by artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen!! It's called Spooky Silhouettes, and like the titel says there are a lot of silhouettes stamps including some fun sentiments to make a set of cards!

And if that is not enough we are releasing Three new Krafty Kolours! Purple Petunia, Mossy Meadow and Pumpkin Patch.

Used products; Purple Petunia, Mossy Meadow and Pumpkin Patch and Wicked Black hybrid ink, Marianne design ATC die, Yvonne Creations halloween die, Dutch Doobadoo Black and white ATC cards.

With all the three background i did the same, i made them Green, Orange and Purple, i also inked the edges using the black hybrid ink. 

I die cut the town out of black cardstock and glued it onto the distressed card. I then die cut it using the ATC die by Marianne design.

In all the three different ATC cards i stamped three different sentiments, i also stamped the three ghosts out of the Spooky Silhouettes set. I then glued al the finished card on some black cardstock, that i have die cut with the large ATC die.
