Everything is S'MORE fun with you

 Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag dan eindelijk eens een kaartje met de Glow in the dark pasta van Lawn Fawn, deze staat al sinds de Art Specially bij mij in de kast en heb er dan nu eindelijk een kaart mee gemaakt. Ook de verschillende Lawn Fawn stempels pakte ik erbij. Today finally a card I made using the Glow in the dark paste by Lawn Fawn, I bought this one at the Art Specially but did not had time or inspiration to use it. So now combined with some Lawn Fawn stamps I made this card.

Voor mijn kaart sneed ik een aquarel rechthoek en plakte er het hart met masking tape op. Inktblende de achtergrond met Broken China, Chipped Sapphire en Black Soot, spetterde water en witte verf.

Cut a watercolor rectangle, masked of the heart in the middle and inkblended the background using Broken China, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. Splattered some water and white paint and let it dry.

Met het hart stencil bracht ik de hartjes aan met de Glow in the dark pasta en zorgde dat de "maan" vrij bleef van de hartjes. Verwijderde de masking tape en maakte de maan met stempels en Hickory Smoke Distress inkt.

Using the heart stencil I added the glow in the dark paste and made sure the "moon" was free of hearts. Removed the masking tape and made the moon using Hickory Smoke Distress ink and stamps.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en knipte ze met de hand uit. Sneed een Strook "zand" uit Kraft cardstock, inktblende dit met Walnut Stain. Stanste wat gras en inktblende dit met Peeled Paint. 

Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them by hand. Die cut a border of Sand out of Kraft cardstock, inkblended it with Walnut Stain. Die cut a border of grass out of Jalepeno Popper and inkblended it with Peeled Paint.

Plakte alles op een Smooth White basis kaart en stempelde de tekst op de maan. De "S'MORE" heat emboste ik op rood cardstock en stanste ik uit. Added everything on to the base card and stamped the sentiment on to the moon. Heat set "S'MORE" on some red cardstock and cut it into a banner.

My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #578

  Hello all!

Today I am back again with a new Sketch Challenge by My Favorite Things. This week I decided to make another card using the BB Squirrel! . Vandaag ben ik er weer met een nieuwe schets challenge van My Favorite Things. Deze week maakte ik een kaart met de nieuwe BB Squirrel!.

This week's sketch was a more open interpretation, I swapped from a regular card to a Mini Slimline card and I decided not to use a big rectangle on the bottom but to mark of the space with a branch.

Mijn interpretatie van de schets van deze week was wat vrijer. Ik veranderde de vorm van een normale kaart naar een Mini Slimline variant. De onderste rechthoek verving ik door een tak en ook de cirkels veranderde ik van vorm.

Cut a rectangle out of Kraft cardstock and stamped the Rippled Background on to it using  Kraft ink. Inkblended some Kraft and Vintage Timber ink to the sides. Splattered some Vintage timber on to it and die cut the circle using the Stitched Circle Shaker Window Die-Namics.

Sneed een Kraft rechthoek en stempelde met Kraft inkt de Rippled Achtergrond stempel op de rechthoek. Inktblende met Kraft en Vitage Timber inkt de zijkanten. Spetterde wat Vintage Timber op de rechthoek en stanste de cirkel met de Stitched Circle Shaker Window Die-Namics.

Stamped all the images, colored them up and die cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Cut a Smooth White sidefold base card. Added a Prickly Pear background behind the Kraft rectangle and added them together. Heat set the sentiment on some Prickly Pear and die cut it using the Essential Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-Namics. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Sneed een zijfold Smooth white basis kaart en een Prickly Pear rechthoek net iets groter dan de Kraft rechthoek. Plakte alles op elkaar en heat emboste de tekst op Prickly Pear. Stanste de tekst uit met de Essential Stiched Sentiment Strips Die-Namics en plakte alles op de kaart.

My Favorite Things Celebrate Everything Card Kit Release.

So for today's inspiration I decided on making two different cards using the Celebrate with Cake Die-Namics.

Voor mijn inspiratie van vandaag besloot ik om twee verschillende kaarten te maken met de Celebrate with Cake Die-Namics.

First of I cut a Smooth White topfold basecard, added two small strips off pattern paper to the sides. Cut another Smooth White panel and stamped the sentiments from the Celebrate Everything on to it.

Uit Smooth White cardstock sneed ik een topfold basiskaart, aan de zijkanten voegde ik twee stroken designpapier toe. Sneed een Smooth White rechthoek en stempelde hier de tekst uit de Celebrate Everything op.

Out of Chantilly Cream, Fire Coral, Summer Splash, Smooth White and Lemon Drop I cut the cake parts. Inkblended some Lemon Drop and Butterscotch on to the cake itself, some Summer Splash onto the candles and Butterscotch on the flames. Assembled the Cake and popped it onto the card. Finished the card of adding some white gelpen details.

Uit Chantilly Cream, Fire Coral, Summer Splash, Smooth White en Lemon Drop stanste ik de taart onderdelen. Inktblende Lemon Drop en Butterscotch op het taart gedeelte, Summer Splash op de kaarsen en Butterscotch op de vlammen. Plakte alles in elkaar en op de kaart en werkte het geheel af met een witte gelpen.

For my second card I went for a more masculine look. I cut a Kraft topfold base card. Cut a Smooth White rectangle and added some Sour Apple Strips to the sides. Die cut the sentiment out of the Celebrate Everything and the Itty Bitty Celebrations on to the rectangle using Something Blue.

Voor mijn tweede kaart maakte ik een meer mannelijke kaart. Ik sneed een topfold Kraft basiskaart. Sneed een Smooth White rechthoek en plakte hieronder twee strips met Sour Apple. Stempelde de tekst uit de Celebrate Everything en de Itty Bitt Celebrations op de rechthoek met Something Blue.

Die cut all the elements out of Chantilly Cream, Milk Chocolate, Sour Apple, Something Blue and Lemon Drop. Inkblended some Kraft ink on to the cake, some Sour Apple onto the candles and some Butterscotch onto the candles.

Stanste alle elementen uit Chantilly Cream, Milk Chocolate, Sour Apple, Something Blue en Lemon Drop. Inktblende Kraft inkt op de taart, Sour Apple op de kaarsen en Butterscotch op de vlammen.

Assembled the cake and popped it onto the cardbase. Finished the card of adding some White gelpen details. Plakte de taart in elkaar en op de basiskaart. Werkte het geheel af door wat witte gelpen details toe te voegen.

So for my card I decided to go slimline. I die cut a rectangle out of Smooth White and inkblended some Lemon Drop, Butterscotch and Kraft ink. Cut a Smooth White base card and added the pattern Paper out of the Time to Celebrate paper pad. Voor mijn kaart besloot ik voor een slimline model te gaan. Stanste de rechthoek uit Smooth White en inktblende Lemon Drop, Butterscotch en Kraft inkt. Sneed een topfold Smooth White basiskaart en plakte hier designpapier op uit de Time to Celebrate paper pad.

Die cut the Perfect Present Die-Namics out of Caribbean Sea, Tropical Teal and the Time to Celebrate paper pad. Assembled it and placed it in the middle of the card. Heat set the sentiment out of the Celebrate Everything on some Lemon Drop cardstock and trimmed it down. Stanste de Perfect Present Die-Namics uit Caribbean Sea, Tropical Teal en het Time to Celebrate designpapier. Plakte in elkaar en in het midden van de kaart. Heat emboste de tekst uit de Celebrate Everything stempel op Lemon Drop en stanste het uit. 

Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and die cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Added them on to the card and finished the card of using some white gelpen details. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Plakte alles op de kaart en werkte het geheel af met wat witte gelpen details.

Let's Celebrate, you

Hallo allemaal,

Na mijn eerste Altenew kaartje van afgelopen week, besloot ik er nog eentje te maken. Mijn knutselvriendin had nog wat Altenew stempels liggen, dus ik heb bij haar heerlijk zitten stempelen. After the first Altenew card I made last week, I decided to make another one. My Crafty Friend owns a few more Altenew products, so last week I stamped a few more flowers so I could make some cards at home.

Ik besloot ook dit keer weer met de Altenew kleureninspiratie aan de gang te gaan. Ik stempelde de Beautiful Day bloemen en blaadjes met MFT inkten. Stempelde de andere bloemen / blaadjes in het zwart en kleurde ze in me mijn potloden.

Again this time I decided to play along with the Altenew Color Inspiration Challenge. I stamped the Beautiful Day flowers and leaves using some MFT inks. Stamped the other flowers/ leaves with a black ink and colored them using my pencils.

Sneed een witte rechthoek en maakte de achtergrond zelf met het Watercolor Wash Stencil en verschillende kleuren roze Distress inkten. De overgangslijnen tekende ik over met een zwarte fineliner. Stanste een witte rechthoek en spetterde zwarte verf op het geheel. Beide rechthoeken gingen op een topfold Smooth White basiskaart.

Cut a white rectangle and made the background myself using the Watercolor Wash Stencil and five different colors of Distress inks. I drew the lines between the colors using a black fineliner. Die cut a white rectangle and splattered some black paint. Added both rectangle onto a Smooth White topfold base card.

Arrangeerde de bloemen tot een mooie toef en stanste het woord "you" uit Smooth White cardstock. Heat emboste de tekst op Poppin' Pink cardstock en stanste het uit tot een banner. Plakte alles op de bloemen en werkte het geheel af met enemal dots. Arranged the flowers until I was happy and die cut the word "you" out of white cardstock. Heat set the sentiment on some Poppin' Pink and die cut it. Added everything on to the card and finished the card of using some enemal dots.

Met de kaart doe ik graag mee met de volgende challenge;

My Favorite Things - Merry Christmas

Today I'm back with a project for My Favorite Things. This time I decided to make a Christmas card that I could enter into the Dutch Card Lovers Challenge. Vandaag ben ik er weer met een project voor My Favorite Things. Deze keer maakte ik een Kerstkaart zodat ik met de leuke challenge bij Dutch Card Lovers mee kon doen.

So for the challenge they ask you to make a winter card using a (or more) birds. I figured it would be fun to use the Christmas Cardinals together with the Grande Greenery Solid and Grande Greenery Outline Die-Namics.

Voor de challenge vragen ze je een kaart met maken met het thema winter en op de kaart moet een (of meerdere) vogels te zien zijn. Ik dacht dat het leuk zou zijn om de Christmas Cardinals te gebruiken in combinatie met de Grande Greenery Solid en Grande Greenery Outline Die-Namics.

First of I made the background using Weather Wood and Black Soot Distress ink. Stamped the All Lined Up Diagonally Background Stamp in the same colors. Splattered some water and white paint. Glued it onto a Smooth White Topfold basecard. Eerst maakte ik de achtergrond met Weathered Wood en Black Soot Distress inkt. Stempelde de All Lined Up Diagonally Achtergrond stempel in dezelfde kleuren. Spetterde water en witte verf en plakte het geheel op een Smooth White topfold basiskaart.

Out of Summer Splash, Caribbean Sea and Tropical Teal cardstock I die cut the leaves and made them into a wreath. Die cut some circles out of Smooth White and added those on the wreath. Finished the wreath of adding some clear sequins in different seizes. Uit Summer Splash, Caribbean Sea en Tropoical Teal cardstock stanste ik de bladeren en maakte er een wreath mee. Stanste wat kleine witte cirkels uit Smooth White en plakte deze op de wreath. Ik maakte de wreath af door er wat transparante doorzichtige sequins in verschillende maten op te plakken.

Stamped the image, colored it up and die cut it using the matching Die-Namics. Added some liqued applicator onto the hat. Die cut the Merry Christmas Die-Namics out of Smooth White and the outline out of Vellum. Adhered them together and popped them onto the card. Stempelde de afbeelding, kleurde hem in en stanste hem uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Voegde wat liqued applicator toe aan de muts. Stanste Merry Christmas Die-Namics uit Smooth White en de outline uit vellum. Plakte ze op elkaar en op de kaart.

My Favorite Things Slimline Challenge

Today I'm back again with the new Slimline Challenge by My Favorite Things. Each month we challenge you to create a project in a slimline seize. This month we challenge you to create a project that cotains the word love in any kind or way. Vandaag start een nieuwe Slimline Challenge van My Favorite Things. Iedere maand dagen we je uit om een project te maken in een slimline maat. Deze maand dagen we je uit om een kaart te maken waar het woord "Love" op welke manier dan ook in terug komt.

So for the theme this month I decided to mix it up with a challenge to create a card for your crafty friend. So I grabbed all the materials I had 😉 and create a fun and colorful slimline card using the Zippy Zebra's.

Voor het thema van deze maand mixte ik het met een uitdaging om een kaart te maken voor mijn Crafty vriend. Ik verzamelde al mijn spullen 😉 en maakte een leuke kleurrijke slimline kaart met de Zippy Zebra's.

Out of Smooth White cardstock I cut a white rectangle using the Slimline Double Stitched Rectangle Die-Namics. Using the colors Cotton Candy, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Limelight, Summer Splash, Lazy Day and Grape Jelly I stamped the splatters out of the Distressed Patterns. Masked of the bottom / top and inked up some Black Soot and Hickery Smoke Distress ink. Met de Slimline Double Stitched Rectangle Die-Namics stanste ik een rechthoek uit Smooth White cardstock. Met de kleuren Cotton Candy, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Limelight, Summer Splash, Lazy Day en Grape Jelly stempelde ik de spletters uit de Distressed Patterns stempel. Maskeerde de boven en onderkant van de kaart en inktblende wat Black Soot en Hickory Smoke Distress inkt.

Stamped all the images, colored them up and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Die cut the word "crafty" out of Kraft cardstock using the Spell Anything Alphabet Die-Namics. Heat set the sentiments on some Black Licorice and trimmed them down using dies. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Stanste het woord "crafty" uit Kraft cardstock met de Spell Anything Alphabet Die-Namics. Heat emboste de teksten op Black Licorice cardstock en stanste ze uit.

I decided were I wanted everything to go and figured that it would be fun to add in some lights. A made a small hole behind the lights of the scooter and added a colored vellum heart in the middle of the Kraft letter A. Added the mechanisme on the back of the card and stamped the red heart, the sentiment were to press and the arrow. Added everything on to a Smooth White base card were I added Patterned Paper out of the Rainbow Love Paper Pad. Ik besloot waar ik alles wilde hebben en dacht dat het wel grappig zou zijn wanneer ik lichten toe zou voegen aan mijn kaart. Ik maakte kleine gaatjes achter de lamped van de scooter en voegde een lampje toe aan een gekleurd vellum hartje in het midden van de Kraft letter A. Plakte het mechanisme op de achterkant van het paneel en stempelde het hart, de tekst "druk hier" en de pijl. Plakte alles op een Smooth White topfold basiskaart die ik bewerkte met het Rainbow Love Paper Pad.

My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #577

 Hello all!

Today I am back again with a new Sketch Challenge by My Favorite Things. This week I decided to make a Friendship card using the Housecats. Vandaag ben ik er weer met een nieuwe schets challenge van My Favorite Things. Deze week maakte ik een vriendschap kaart met de leuke Housecats.

Even thought it is a easy looking sketch, It took me quit some time to figure out what I wanted. So I figured I wanted to make a card using the Housecats and the fun Let's Hang Out Sentiment because well the cat is hanging in a basket. So that was my starting point, I ended up only swapping the place of the sentiment to the top of the card.

De schets lijkt heel eenvoudig toch kostte me het even voordat ik een idee had wat ik wilde. Ik bedacht dat ik een kaart wilde maken met de Housecats en dat ik hem wilde combineren met de Let's Hang Out tekst, want de hangt tenslotte in de basket. Dat was dus het begin punt, aan het einde van de rit verplaats ik alleen de tekst naar boven.

Cut a Smooth White base card and inkblended some Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn onto the cardbase using the Small Brick Wall Stencil. Cut another Smooth White rectangle and dry embost it using the same stencil. I also added the same colors Distress ink to them. Glued the rectangle on to the base card using foam tape.

Sneed een Smooth White topfold basiskaart en inktblende Twisted Citron en Mowed Lawn Distress inkt op de kaart met het Small Brick Wall Stencil. Sneed een Smooth White rechthoek en droog emboste dit met hetzelfde stencil. Ik voegde weer wat kleuraccenten toe met het stencil en dezelfde kleuren Distress inkt. Plakte de rechthoek op de basiskaart met foam tape.

Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Heat set both sentiments on some Kraft and Limelight cardstock and trimmed them down. Added everything to the base card using different heights of foamtape. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende Die-Namics. Heat emboste beide teksten op Kraft en Limlight cardstock en stanste ze uit. Plakte alles op de basiskaart met verschillende hoogtes foamtape.

My Favorite Things - Excel at Hanging Out

 Hello all,

Today i'm back with a project I made for My Favorite Things. This time I decided to play along with this month CASology challenge with the que word "Renew". Vandaag ben ik terug met een blogpost voor My Favorite Things. Deze keer besloot ik mee te doen met de CASology challenge met het woord van de maand "Renew".

This Challenge had me really thinking because if you search for the word "Renew" on Pinterest the first thing that pops up are couples renewing their vows. Well that is not the theme I wanted to create for so I thought a bit longer. With friendships being on a stretch with Covid and with the New Year starting I figured I could combine the theme and create a card where Friendship is being the main theme and the cats are also hanging/ do exercises.

De Challenge van deze maand zette me echt wel aan het denken aangezien het woord "Renew" op Pinterest je kaarten oplevert van mensen die opnieuw hun trouwgeloftes aan elkaar doen. Dat is niet het thema waar ik voor wilde gaan dus ik dacht nog even langer na. Met vriendschappen die moeilijker zijn om te onderhouden nu met Corona en met het Nieuwe haar wat gestart is, dacht ik dat goede voornemens om te sporten wel een leuke combinatie zou zijn. Ik maakte daarom ook een kaart met beide thema's.

So for my card I cut a Smooth White topfold basecard. For 3/4 of the card I added some pattern paper out of the Tiny Check Paper Pad. Stamped the images out of the BB I Knead You twice and colored them up using my Copic markers. Voor mijn kaart sneed ik een topfold Smooth White basiskaart. Plakte op 3/4 van de kaart designpapier uit de Tiny Check Paper Pad. Stempelde de afbeeldingen uit de BB I Knead You twee keer en kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers.

Die cut each of one image using the matching Die-Namics and die cut two more out of plain Smooth White cardstock. Stamped the sentiment from the Sassy Pants Best Friends on some Smooth White and trimmed it down so it would fit the card and in between the paws of the cats. Stanste de één van elke kat één keer uit met de bijpassende stansen, daarnaast stanste ik ook twee keer dezelfde stans uit Smooth White. Stempelde de tekst uit de Sassy Pants Best Friends op Smooth White cardstock en sneed het tot een banner zodat hij op de kaart paste en tussen de poten van de katten.

Out of the other colored images, I cut the top paws using my sciccors. Cut the main images in half so I could cut the bottom paws slightly so the could go onto the sentiments strip. Glued the two different parts on the Smooth White die cut and glued it including the sentiment strip onto the main card. Finished of adding the toppaws on to the main card. Van de andere gekleurde afbeeling, knipte ik de bovenste poten. Knipte de hoofd afbeeldingen in tweeën en knipte de onderste poten zo in dat ze om de tekst heen konden. Plakte de twee helften op de Smooth White katten en plakte alles op de basiskaart. Werkte de kaart af door de bovenste poten als laatste op te plakken.

Gray Cat - C5, C3, C1, C0, C00; R22, R20
