My Favorite Things STAMPtember 2021 Exclusive is here!

Yay, it's the time that th STAMPtember exclusive by My Favorite Things for Simon Says Stamps is aviable for a limited time! Once it is gone it is gone for good! Yay, het is tijd voor de STAMPtember exclusive van My Favorite Things voor Simon Says Stamps is te koop voor een bepaalde tijd! Als hij eenmaal uitverkocht is, komt de stempel niet meer terug!

Totally love this year colleboration between My Favorite Things and Simon Says Stamps it's a adorable set with two outdoor animals. Some accessoires stamps and offcourse some matching sentiments! Ik ben weer helemaal weg van de samenwerking tussen My Favorite Things en Simon Says Stamps. Het is een stempel met twee super leuke bos dieren, wat accessoires en uiteraard bijpassende teksten!

For my card I made a slimline because the scene I had in my mind would take up alot of space. So I turned it into a forest scene using alot of My Favorite Things dies and offcourse the super cute set! Ik besloot een slimline kaart te maken omdat de scene die ik in mijn hoofd had best wel wat ruimte in zou nemen. ik gebruikte een hoop verschillende My Favorite Things stansen en andere producten en natuurlijk de leuke stempel.

First of I made the background using Summer Splash cardstock and some inks. Stamped the trees using grey inks and added a white rectangle behind it. Cut the cave out of Cement Gray and Gravel Gray and added the "stones" using the swimming pool stencil, ink and pencils. Ik maakte eerst de achtergrond met Summer Splash cardstock en wat inkten. Stempelde de bomen met verschillende kleuren grijze inkt en plakte achter het geheel een witte achtergrond. Stanste de grot uit Cement Gray en Gravel Gray en bracht wat "stenen" aan met het zwembad stencil, inkt en potloden.

Die cut the trees out of Kraft, the leave deck out of Jalepeno Popper, grass out of Sour Apple and Limlight, water is the same color as the base card Lazy Day. Assembled the scene using all different heights. Stamste de bomen uit Kraft, het bladerendek uit Jalepeno Popper, gras uit Sour Apple en Limlight, voor het water gebruikte ik dezelfde kleur als voor de basiskaart Lazy Day. Plakte alles op de kaart met verschillende hoogtes voor het gewenste effect.

Stamped all the images, colored everything up using my Copic markers and cut them by hand. Assembled them into the scene and finished of the card using some white gelpen details. Stempelde alle afbeeldingen kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en knipte ze met de hand. Plakte alles op de scene en werkte de kaart af door details aan te brengen met een witte gelpen.

White - C3,C1, C00, 0

Grey - C5, C3, C1

Fire / light - Y06, Y02, Y00, YR16, R24

Green - G29, G46, G24, G21

Yay, it's the time that th STAMPtember exclusive by My Favorite Things for Simon Says Stamps is aviable for a limited time! Once it is gone it is gone for good! Yay, het is tijd voor de STAMPtember exclusive van My Favorite Things voor Simon Says Stamps is te koop voor een bepaalde tijd! Als hij eenmaal uitverkocht is, komt de stempel niet meer terug!

The set is a very cute set with cats (totally in my ally as i'm a catlover!) that might be suited for every friendship, love or just a note card. De set is een super leuke set met katten (helemaal in mijn straatje als kattenvrouwtje) en ideaal voor al je vriendschap, liefde of gewoon een kaartje.

So onto my card, i started a bit differently this time around because i was not quit sure what i was going for so i cut the white piece of cardstock first. Then i inked it up using Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink, and splattered some water and Worn Lipstick Ditress ink. Nu naar mijn kaart, ik begon deze keer iets anders omdat ik er nog niet uit was wat ik wilde maken. Ik sneed een stuk wit cardstock, inkte het met Spun Sugar Distress Oxide inkt. Spetterde er water op en Worn Lipstick Distress inkt gemixt met water.

Cut all the letters using different colors of cardstock matching the patterned paper i picked out. Added some detail using a white gelpen and added that to the panel. Stamped the sentiment and cut it using a banner die. Glued the panel on the piece of patterned paper and that went on a topfold Tickled Pink cardbase. Stanste alle letters in verschillende kleuren cardstock bijpassend bij het designpapier wat ik uitgekozen heb. Voegde wat details toe met een witte gelpen. Stempelde de tekst en stanste het uit. Plakte het letterpaneel op het designpapier en geheel ging daarna op Tickled Pink topfold basiskaart.

Stamped the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using my sciccors. Added the cats to the card and finished the card of using different seizes of clear sequins. Stempelde de afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en knipte ze it met een schaar. Voegde de katten toe aan de kaart en werkte het geheel af met verschillende maten clear sequins.

Used Copic Colors:

Black - N7, N6, N4

White - C5, C3, C1, C00, 0

Pink - R22, R20, R00

Brown - E57, E55, E53, E51, E50

Krafty Peek day 3: You Complete me

Hello all,

Welcome back for day three of the January release by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps and today we are showcasing a super fun set by artist Emilie Goullet called you complete me.

It's another 4 x 6 set with a verity of sentiments and two beautiful images. 

For my card i used: You complete me, Wicked Black / Marvellous Mocha, Krafty scenery stencil, Doodlebug design paper, Die-Namics simply hello & i love you, Die-Namics stitched strip, Die-Namics grassy fields, Dutch Doobadoo polaroid stencil.

First i stamped the images and colored it up using my Copic Markers, then i fussy cut it leaving a white border. I took some white cardstock and made the smallest seize polaroid in the set. I stamped the sentiment on to is and die cut the word hello 4 times out of yellow cardstock and adhered it on top. Die cut some hearts from red cardstock and gave the some gloss using glossy accent.

Die cut the grass using the grassy fields and gave it some green with Mowed Lawn. Cut a piece of cardstock and gave it some brown using Marvellous Mocha hybrid ink. Made the clouds using the stencil and Salty Ocean distress ink. Adhered everything together and gave it a strip of designpaper.

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag ging ik eens oefenen met kleuren, ik ben sinds 1 november een teamlid van het Colourstock Copic team! Dat betekend dat je vanaf nu 1 keer in de maand een tutorial van mij voorbij ziet komen hoe je iets kunt inkleuren met je Copics. Daarmee daag ik mezelf uit om meer te leren en mijn copics uit te testen. Daarom ging ik vandaag weer eens aan de slag met de haren van een dier. Ik ben niet compleet tevreden maar oefening baart kunst!

Ik gebruikte kraft en turquoise cardstock, crystal en turquoise nuvo drops, SSS thankful heart, digi stamp van Sami Stamps en een thanks die ik weet alleen niet welk merk...

Ik kleurde de digi in met mijn copics. Daarna stempelde ik de sentiment. Stanste thanks vier keer, één uit wit en drie uit kraft en plakte ze op elkaar en vervolgens op de kaart. Met de Nuvo drops maakte ik wat accent. Plakte het op een stuk turqouise cardstock en daarna op een dubbele basis kraft kaart.

Krafty peeks day 1: Happy Fall Y'all!

Hallo allemaal / Hello Everybody!

Good morning and welcome to Day ONE of our August New Release Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are kicking things off with an incredible new set from artist, Cheryl Grant! You may recognize it if you purchased the Secret Stamp Set from June! If not, you're going to love it so much!

It's called HAPPY FALL, Y'ALL!!

This set is full of scene building elements to create amazing designs! Of course Lulu is the center of attention along with a fun wagon which you can fill with some of the other images like pumpkins, puppies and kitties!! So cute!

I used a the shape art mal shield 2 (470.713.140) from Dutch Doobadoo, papers from Simon Says stamp, Dies from Marianne Design and MFT, Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, gems from Marianne design and cardstock.

I colored the girls and the pumpkins up from the set Happy Fall Y'all! i paperpieced the girl her clothing aswell. Die cut it and then glued it onto the card.
