Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag een geboorte kaart die ik maakte op bestelling. Nu was de opdracht best lastig, doordat de ouders zelf erg van de naturel kleuren zijn en zo ook het geboortekaartje en het babykamertje eruit zag. Hierop heb ik dus uiteindelijk mijn kaart geinspireerd. Today I want to show you a card that I made for a order. The order was quite a challenge, because the parents love natural colors. The birth card was in that style just like the nursery. So that's what inpspired me to create this card.

Sneed een witte achtergrond en inktblende Naturel en Kraft MFT inkt. Spetterde Kraft en gouden verf spetters. Stanste de afbeeldingen en kleurde deze in naturel tinten in. 

Cut a white background and inkblended Naturel and Kraft MFT inkt. Splattered some Kraft and golden ink / paint. Stamped the images and colored them up using naturel tones.

Stanste of knipte de afbeeldingen uit en plakte ze op de kaart met foam tape. Stanste de naam uit goud cardstock en de geboortedatum uit bruin cardstock en plakte beide op de kaart.

Die cut or cut the image by hand and adhered them onto the card using foam tape. Die cut the name out of gold cardstock and the date of birth out of brown cardstock and adhered both onto the card.

Het geheel ging op een witte topfold basiskaart met foamtape. Adhered the whole panel onto a topfold Smooth White base card using foam tape.

Winterse Card Swap

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag een kaart die ik maakte voor een Card Swap met Ellen Haxelmans. Na de laatste Magische Card Swap besloten we er nog eentje te doen. Naast de kaart zouden we ook een klein cadeau toevoegen. Today I have a card specially made for a Card Swap with Ellen Haxelmans. After the Magical Card Swap we had in the summer we decided on doing another cardswap. Beside the card we also send eachother a small present.

Ik vind slimline kaarten helemaal leuk en shaker kaarten ook dus ik maakte een slimline shakerkaart! Op aquarel papier inktblende ik Antique Linen, Victorian Velvet en Wilter Violet. Spetterde er water en witte verf op en stanste het uit. Stanste twee randen en plakte deze tijdelijk op. You know by know I love Slimline and Shakercards so I decided to combine both and make a Slimline Shaker Card. On some watercolor paper I inkblended some Antique Linen, Victorian Velver and Wilted Violet. Splattered some water and white paint and die cut the panel. Die cut two borders of snow and temporarly added them.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste of knipte ze uit. Plaatste de afbeeldingen waar ik ze wilde hebben en plakte ze tijdelijk vast. Zodra ik wist hoe ik ze wilde plakte ik de sneeuw en bomen die in de "ramen" komen vast. Stanste de "ramen" uit de achtergrond en nam ze over op een stuk wit cardstock. Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using matching dies or my sciccors. Added the images were  I wanted them and glued the ones that would be in the "window frames". Die cut the "window frames" and traced the windows on a piece of white cardstock.

Plakte de uitgestanste ramen op de witte rechthoek. Plakte wat acetate achter de geinkte achtergrond en plakte er foamtape op. Vulde de shaker met shakermateriaal en plakte het dicht met een geschubte Kraft achtergrond. Deze stanste ik nog een keer en plakte ik op de achterkant van de andere om er zo een dubbele kaart van te maken.

Added the die cut frames onto the white rectangle and glued some acetate behind the inkblended panel. Added some foamtape and filled up the shaker. Closed the shaker using a scalloped Kraft base. Die cut another Kraft Scalloped base and glued them together so it would turn into a topfold basecard.

Plakte daarna alle andere afbeeldingen op en bewerkte ze met een witte gelpen. Heat emboste de teksten op gekleurd cardstock en stanste ze uit. Glued all the images onto the card and added some white gelpen details to them. Heat set the sentiments onto some colored cardstock and die cut them.

Studio Light - New Adventure

 Hallo Allemaal,

Hier is mijn wekelijkse post voor Studiolight weer. Deze keer maakte ik een slimline kaart met de Stamp & Die Air Message. I'm back with my weekly post for Studiolight. This time around I made a slimline card using the Stamp & Die Air Message.

Ik maakte eerst de achtergrond met een wolkenstencil en de kleuren Wilted Violet, Shaded Lilac, Spun Suagr en Worn Lipstick. Spetterde water en Wilted Violet en stanste het uit. Heat emboste de tekst Fly en "let's" op de achtergrond en plakte het geheel op een witte rechthoek wat daarna op een Kraft geschubde achtergrond aan.

First off I made the background using a cloud stencil and the colors Wilted Violet, Shaded Lilac, Spun Suagr and Worn Lipstick. Splattered some water and Wilted Violet and die cut the background. Heat set the word Fly and stamped the "Let's" on the background. Added a white rectangle behind the background and the whole went on to a scullped Kraft background.

Stempelde de afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers stanste ze uit en plakte ze op. Bewerkte de ramen met wat Glossy Accent. Stanste de tekst op de banner, stanste deze ook uit en achter het vliegtuig.

Stamped all the images, colored them in using Copic markers die cut them and glued them onto the card. Added some Glossy Accent onto the windows. Stamped the sentiment on the banner and die cut it, added it behind the airplane.

Heat emboste de losse teksten op Kraft papier en stanste ze uit. Stansten de harten uit roze cardstock, plakte ze op en bewerkte ze met wat Wink of Stella. Heat set the seperate sentiments on some Kraft cardstock and die cut them. Die cut some hearts and added the on the cardbase. Finished the card of using some Wink of Stella.

Scrap & Co Challenge - Liefde

 Hallo allemaal,

Het is weer de eerste van de maand dat betekend dat er bij Scrap & Co weer een nieuwe maandelijkse uitdaging is gestart. Deze maand dagen we je uit om een kaart te maken met het thema liefde. Volgens mij een hele veelzijdig thema dus doen jullie gezellig mee? Today it's the first day of the month and that means a new monthly challenge started over at Scrap & Co. This month we challenge you to make a card using the theme Love. Are you playing with us?

Meedoen met de challenge is simpel; 

• Maak een nieuwe kaart, lay-out, plannerpagina, scrapalbum of mixed mediaproject met de opdracht van die maand. (max. 2 inzendingen per persoon)
• Gebruik voor je nieuwe creatie producten/ merken die we verkopen in de (web)winkel. Twijfel je neem dan even een kijkje in de webwinkel.
• Plaats van je project 1 foto (anders zijn we het overzicht kwijt) voor de 28ste van deze maand in de betreffende map in de Scrap & Co Facebookgroep, of op Instagram onder de #ScrapenCoChallenge en tag @Scrap_en_Co
• En wie weet start jij het begin van de volgende maand wel met een leuke cadeaubon van 15 euro voor de (web)winkel, of word je door het designteam uitgekozen tot gastdesigner!
  
  Playing with the challenge is really easy;
  • Make a new card, mixed media project, scrapbook layout, planner page or a scrap album using the theme of this month. (a maximum of 2 entries per person)

Voor mijn kaart maakte ik eerst de achtergrond, op lichtblauw papier inktblende ik de wolken met een donkerdere kleur blauw. Spetterde water en witte verf en voegde hartjes toe met structuurpasta en een stencil. Stanste het geheel uit en plakte het op een topfold basiskaart die ik bewerkte met designpapier. First of I made the background using a light blue color cardstock I inkblended the the clouds using a darker blue ink. Splattered some white paint and water. And added the hearts using a stencil and embossing paste.

Stanste de envelop, regenboog en wolken uit verschillende kleuren cardstock. Maakte het een geheel en voegde wat glitters toe aan de regenboog. Die cut the envelop, rainbow and clouds in different colors. Made the parts into a whole and added some sparkle to the rainbow.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en knipte ze uit. Bewerkte de hoorns met zilveren glitters. Heat emboste de teksten op het gekleurde cardstock en stanste ze uit. Plakte daarna alles op de kaart met verschillende hoogtes foamtape. Stamped all the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them with my sciccors. Added some silver sparkle to the horns. Heat set the sentiments on to some cardstock and stamped the other one. Die cut the sentiments and added all the elements using different heights of foamtape.

Stamp Anniething - Kawaii Cuties

 Hello all,

Today it's my time to show you another card using the Kawaii Cuties. I decided on making a card that I could enter the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with. So I gathered a few stamps and started crafting. Vandaag is het mijn beurt om jullie weer te inspireren met de nieuwste Kawaii Cuties. Ik besloot ditmaal een kaart te maken maken voor de Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, verzamelde een aantal stempels en begon met knutselen.

First I made the background using Distress ink, splattered some water and white paint and die cut it. Die cut the grass and sand and inkblended them for some depth. Die cut the coffee Cups and the accessories, inkblended them and assembled them into two cups of coffee.

Ik maakte eerst de achtergrond met Distress inkt, spetterde water en witte verf en stanste het uit. Stanste het gras en sneed het zand en inktblende wat inkt voor meer diepte. Stanste de koffiemokken en de accessoires, inktblende ze en plakte ze in elkaar zodat ik twee koffiemokken had.

Stamped all the images, colored them up and cut them using the matching dies. Glued the Distress ink panel on some white cardstock and die cut the scalloped frame twice and inkblended it. Assembled the base card and decided were I wanted everything to go.

Stempelde alle afbeeldingen, kleurde ze in met mijn Copic markers en stanste ze uit met de bijpassende stansen. Plakte de geinkte rechthoek op een witte rechthoek die iets groter was. Stanste de geschupte achtergrond twee keer uit Kraft en inktblende wat Walnut Stain, plakte alles op elkaar.

Heat set the sentiment, die cut it using a die and die cut the word "Coffee". Glued everything on to the base card and added some details using a white gelpen. Heat emboste de tekst en stanste het uit. Stanste het woord "coffee" en plakte alles op de kaart. Werkte het geheel af met wat details met een witte gelpen.

Carlijn Design - Daar moet op gedronken worden.

Een paar weken geleden was mijn schoonvader jarig hij vierde zijn 70ste verjaardag, daar hoort natuurlijk een passend kaartje bij. Hij houdt wel van een pilsje en ik dacht daar kan ik vast wat mee. Ik gebruikte verschillende Carlijn Design producten en maakte deze slimline kaart. A few weeks back my father in law celebrated his 70st birthday, offcourse a handmade card should be made this special occasion. He loves to drink a beer so i grabbed a few of my Carlijn Design products and made a slimline card using them.

Ik maakte eerst de achtergrond, met Scattered Straw, Fossilized Amber en Tea Dye Distress inkt. Pakte het So Many Circles stencil van Kraftin' Kimmie stamps en inktblende Picket Fence over het geel heen. Spetterde wat water en witte verf en stanste het uit.

First i made the background, inkblended Scattered Straw, Fossilized Amber and Tea Dye Distress ink and added some Picket Fence using the So Many Circles Stencil by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. Splattered some water and white paint and die cut it.

Stanste twee keer de champagne fles uit Sour Apple en inktblende de fles met Bundled Sage en Rustic Wilderness. Sneed de fles zodat hij passend zou zijn op de achtergrond. Stanste het zijn naam en leeftijd. Stanste ook twee cirkels, een uit zilver cardstock en de ander uit Sour Apple bewerkte dit weer met de groene kleuren Distress inkt. Die cut the champagne bottle twice out of Sour Apple and inkblended the bottle using Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness. Cut the bottle so it would fit my background. Die cut the name and age, die cut a circle out of Sour Apple and Silver cardstock and added some ink to the green circle.

Stanste de Petite Cloud Die-Namics uit wit cardstock en legde dit zo neer dat het de vorm van schuim had. Plakte ze aan elkaar en deed over het geheel een laagje liquid appliqué op en maakte het warm met de heatgun zodat het oppopte. Bewerkte de fles nog met wat potlood om wat detail te maken. Die cut the Petite Clouds Die-Namics out of white cardstock and placed them so the would look like foam head. Added a layer of Liquid Appliqué and heat set it so it would pop up. Added some details to the bottle using pencils.

Stanste de tekst "proost" en de achtergrond, plakte ze op elkaar en in het midden van de kaart. Stempelde de tekst rechtstreeks op de kaart en de sterren uit Eiffel Tower cardstock. Plakte ze op de kaart en bewerkte ze met glossy accent. Stanste de achtergrond uit wit cardstock en dit ging op een Kraft topfold basiskaart. Die cut the word "proost" and the outline, glued them together and added it to the middle of the card. Stamped the sentiments onto the card and die cut some starts. Added some glossy accent to them and glued the panel on to a white rectangle on to a Kraft topfold base card.

Magische Card Swap

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag een kaart die ik maakte voor een Card Swap met Ellen Haxelmans. Ik vind haar werk helemaal leuk en na wat heen en weer gechat ontstond het idee om een Card Swap te doen. We koppelde er het thema; Magisch aan vast en mochten zelf beslissen wat we maakte en met welke producten. Today I have a card specially made for a Card Swap with Ellen Haxelmans. I totally love her cardmaking so after some chatting the idea came up. We added a theme for some extra motivation, and the products we were using was free.

Aangezien Ellen mijn moederdag bloemenkaart helemaal leuk vond besloot ik de bloemen ook te gebruiken op mijn kaart voor haar en combineerde ze met nog een aantal producten van Carlijn Design.

Ellen totally love the card I made for my Mom on Mothersday so I knew I would wanne use the flowers on my card, so the idea to make "singing" flowers was born, together with the unicorn's and some other products by Carlijn Design my card was compleet.

Ik begon met de achtergrond deze inktblende ik met Picked Raspberry en Dried Marigold Distress Oxide inkt. Spetterde er water en witte verf op. Stanste het geheel uit met een slimline stans. Stanste de wolk uit Smooth White met dezelfde stans en bewerkte dit met Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink. Started with my background, I inkblended some Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold Distress Oxide, splattered some water and white paint and my background was done. Die cut a cloud and added a layer of Squeezed Lemonade to it.

Stanste alle losse onderdelen van de bloemen uit en maakte de grote bloemen en een aantal kleinere bloemen. Bewerkte alle onderdelen met inkten en voegde wat details toe met een witte gelpen. Die cut all the lose parts of the flowers, made two big ones and some smallers ones. Added some details to the flowers using different colors of inks and a white gelpen.

Stempelde de eenhoorns, ster en muzieknoten. Kleurde de afbeeldingen in met mijn Copic markers en knipte de afbeeldingen uit. Heat emboste de teksten op Smooth White en stanste het uit. Plakte alles op de kaart en het geheel ging op een Smooth White topfold basiskaart. Bracht op de ster en de hoorns wat gouden stickles aan. Stamped the unicorns, star and the musicnotes. Colored the images using my Copic markers and cut them using my sciccors. Added everything on the card and added the base on to a topfold Smooth White base card. Heat set the sentiments on some Smooth White cardstock and cut them using dies. Added some gold stickles to the horns and star and my card was all done.
