My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #541

Hello all!

Today i'm back again with a new Sketch Challenge by My Favorite Things. This week i decided to make a Birthday card just because i always seem to have a shortage of Birthday cards. Vandaag ben ik er weer met een nieuwe schets challenge van My Favorite Things. Deze week maakte ik een verjaardagkaart op één of andere manier lijkt ik er altijd te kort te komen!

For today i went a bit free style on the shapes of the original sketch, i removed the rectangles with the balloons and made the sentiment strip just a bit bigger.

Voor de schets van vandaag ging ik een beetje freestyle met de vormen. Verving de rechthoeken met de bundels ballonnen en de tekst werd iets groter.

First i cut a sidefold Smooth White base card. Then cut a Smooth White rectangle and heat set the background on to it using white embossing powder. Using the colors Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade and Kitsch Flamingo i inkblended the panel. Splattered some water and added it to the base card. Sneed een Smooth White sidefold kaart. Sneed een Smooth Whtie rechthoek en heat emboste de achtergrond op met wit embossing poeder. Met de kleuren Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade en Kitsch Flamingo inktblende ik de achtergrond. Spetterde wat water en plakte het op de basiskaart.

Out of Smooth White and vellum i die cut the balloons, out of gold cardstock i die cut the word "Hooray" and added those to the balloons. Uit Smooth White en vellum stanste ik de ballonnen. Uit goud cardstock stanste ik het woord "Hooray" plakte dit op de ballonnen.

Added the balloons to the main card using foam tape. Heat set the sentiment on som Black Licorice and die cut it using the Skinny Strips Die-Namics. Finished the card of using different seizes of clear raindrops. Plakte de ballonnen op de basiskaart met foam tape. Heat emboste de tekst op Black Licorice cardstock en stanste het uit met de Skinny Strips Die-Namics. Werkte de kaart af met verschillende maten transparante "regendruppels".
