Krafty Tips & Tutes - Shakercards

Hello all,

Krafty Girl Marieke here and today i have a video tutorial for you on how you can make a shaker card in three different ways. For my example card i used the Shake it Up and Shake it up - Polar Pals stamp also our Basic and Fruity Dots are used on my card. Have fun watching the video!

As you can see there are a few ways to make a shaker card, it's not hard just have a go with it. I hope my tips are helpful and as said in the video if you have any questions at all don't hesitate to ask them!

Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge - Use the colors Yellow, Orange and Pink

Hallo allemaal / Hello everybody!

Today it's Saturday wich means a new challenge started over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog, today the theme is make a project using the colors Yellow, Orange and Pink. You can go every route with this theme so get your stamps, ink and stencils out and play along.

For my card i firstly die cut the photo boot strip and on the small squares i stamped the little wich three times in a different position. I colored the squares in using my Copic Markers and adhered everything together.

Made a topfold card and used Pumpkin Patch Distress ink combined with the Creepy Cobweb stencil to make the background. Splattered some black ink and let it dry.

Cut some small pieces of design paper and glued them together with a small strip of black cardstock. Heat embost the sentiment and die cut is. Together with a piece of black twine i adhered everything on the base card and finished it of using some Enamel dots.

You're always on my nice list

Hallo allemaal,

Gisteren voordat ik ging werken nog even een kaart gemaakt, ik wilde nog een kaart maken voor de schets challenge van My Favorite Things en ik heb nog geen kerstkaarten gemaakt deze maand dus daar zat ik gisterenochtend nog even heerlijk te knutselen.

Ik maakte met distress inkt, water en een acrylic paint marker de achtergrond en stanste deze uit. Maakte er een gat in en haalde er twine doorheen. 

Stanste uit grijs cardstock de bergen en bewerkte dit met geso, stanste de bomen en het sneeuw en plakte dit alles op de tag.

Stempelde de kerstman en kleurde deze in. Knipte hem uit en plakte hem op de tag. Heat emboste het sentiment en stanste het uit met een banner stans. Maakte een basis kaart van wit cardstock en plakte daar het designpapier op.

August release and krafty hop!

Hello everyone!

And the day has come that the August Release by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps is available! Go quickly to the shop and make sure the buy all our new goodies!

So to recap again what awesome goodies we had this release you can hop along the designer blogs and see even more inspiration using one or more of the August release products!

So for my hop card i used the Monster Mash set one more time. Stamped the body, head and legs and colored them in using my Copic Markers. Fussy cut them out and set them aside. 

First of i made the background i masked the a circkel on the panel and colored the rest using distress ink. Removed the masking tape and made the moon using distress inks and a stamp from Altenew. Using the bats and moons stencil i made two bats on the moon.

Die cut the grass and heat embost the sentiment. Die cut the trees out of black and white cardstock and glued them together then i glued them on the card behind the grass. I stamped the sentiment boo on the sign and adhered the images on the card.

Krafty Peek day 4: I want candy + a challenge

Hello all,

Welcome to day four of the August Krafty peeks by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. It's the last day because of tonight all the goodies will be available in store. Today we have a really frightfully set by artist Neda Sedradin called I want candy!

It's a set packed full of images and three matching sentiments, so you can create all kind of Halloween cards or other creations.

For my card i made a scene using four of the images out of this set! I stamped those and colored them up using my Copic markers and ended up fussy cutting them. Beside this set i used the pumpkins from a different set. 

Out of dark grey cardstock i cut a panel and white Piked Fence distress ink and a brick stencil i made the background. Splattered some black paint on to it to give it some detail.

Die cut the window and made a small panel yellow using Yummy Yellow. Stamped the spider and colored it black. And adhered everything together. 

Die cut a strip of grass and placed all the colored images. Heat embost the sentiment on some black cardstock en adhered some stripes behind it to give it some extra interest. Completed my card using some enamel dots.

Krafty Peeks day 3: Monster Mash

Hello all,

Welcome back to Day THREE of our August Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Today we are showcasing a set by artist Melissa called Monster Mash!

It's a set with no sentiments but all kinds of heads, body's and legs to create your own monsters.

This time around i made a series of ATC cards to use almost all of them! So first of i made the background using distress inks, two stencils and some side stamps from a different brand.

Did some stitching on the edges and also used some washi tape to complement the black bit on the images. Stamped and colored the images and cut them on the line this time. Glued them together and put them on the cards.

Used the sentiments from a different Kraftin' Kimmie set. Stamped those and cut the sentiment apart. Glued them on the card and gave them an extra touch using a black fineliner.

Krafty Peek day 1: Scaredy Cats

Hello all!

All the krafty FUN is about to begin! Welcome to the August release of 2019 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!
This is Day ONE of our Krafty Peeks and we are paw-sitivly thrilled to share everything with you! We've got new stamp sets, new stencils, new ink, new Krafty Dots! Hang on to your inkpads...'cause here we go!

For day one we have this pawfully sweet stamp by artist Neda Sedradin it's called Scaredy Cats! It contains three different images with three matching sentiments. 

For my card i made a background using some distress inks. On a piece of paper i made the moon using three different yellow inks and die cut it using a circle die. I glued it on the background panel and die cut two pieces of grass using some black cardstock. On one of them i heat embost the sentiment.

Stamped all the images using Wicked Black and colored the images in using my Copic Markers. Fussy cut all the images and glued them on the card using glue or 3-d tape.

Eek! It's your birthday!

Hallo allemaal,

Ik probeer zoveel mogelijk klaar te hebben voordat we eind augustus op vakantie vertrekken, aangezien we een verre reis gaan maken, gaan de hobbyspullen niet mee en zal ik al het "werk" klaar moeten hebben voordat we vertrekken. Ondanks dat kon ik niet weerstaan om met de Sketch en Kleuren Challenge van My Favorite Things aan de gang te gaan.

Ik maakte een gezellige muizenkaart voor een meisje dat 9 jaar is geworden in haar vakantie. Stanste eerste het paneel uit en meet uit wat het midden was en stanste daar de "dome" uit. Maskeerde vervolgens de vloer en later de plint en bewerkte de bovenkant met een stencil.

In eerste instantie had ik drie muizen gekleurd en de tekst op een stuk roze cardstock maar ik kon er maar niet uit komen, na veel andere dingen kleuren en en schuiven en verplaatsen kwam ik op dit uit.

Alle onderderlen stempelde ik op Copic vriendelijk papier en kleurde alles in met mijn Copic Markers. Stanste alles uit met de bijbehorende stansen. De 9 komt uit de Die-Namics balloons. Als laatste stempelde ik de tekst op de kaart.

Gebruikte Copic kleuren:

Roze - RV19, RV17, RV14, RV13

Paars - V09, V06, V05, V04

Wit - W3, W1, 0

Guestdesigner Time Out Challenge

Hello Everyone,

Today i have the privilege to be a guest designer at Time Out Challenge´s. And we have a really versatile theme this week and that's the word Relaxation with the optional twist of making it a one layer card.

For the reminder card i decided to go on a different route and make a card that could be sent to someone that needs so relaxation, like when someone is sick, retires or just when someone has a lot on there plate.

So i started of die cutting a grey panel and with white distress ink i made a stone background. Die cut the window and the window frame's out of white cardstock and the curtains out of  designpaper. Glued everything together and made a small panel that i stamped with a background stamp. Glued the panel onto a white card base and then i glued the window.

The images i stamped on some Copic paper and colored them using my Copic Markers. Die cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Glued them on the card using some 3-d tape. Out of black cardstock i die cut the speech bubble and made it smaller. I heat embost the sentiment on to it.

Hello Everyone,

For the theme i decided to make a summer card with one of the new mermaid stamps by My Favorite Things. I made the waves using Distress Ink and splattered some water on to it. I mixed some ink with water and splattered it again.

The sentiment i stamped above the waves and i stamped the images on some Copic paper. I die cut them using matching Die-Namics.

Colored the images using my Copic Markers and added some glossy accent to the glasses and some wink of stella glitter to the tail.
