Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge - Christmas in July

Hallo allemaal / Hello everybody!

Today it's saturday wich means a new challenge started over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog, today the theme is Christmas in July! In my opinion you can not start early enough with Christmas cards, so pull out your Christmas stuff and play along!

We always enjoy your creations so be sure to submit them so you can have a chance to WIN a $40 gift card to the Shop!! Show us your stuff!! In keeping in line with the rest of our challenges (our Krafty Scrappy Challenge), we will be drawing one winner per month from all Saturday Challenge entries to win a $40 gift card!! You can enter as many times per month as you'd like!!

Used products; Shake it up - Polar bears, Die-Namics blueprint 27, Die-Namics stitched snow drifts, Die-Namics winter trees and red rhinestones.

First i stamped and masked the bears, i colored them up with my Copic Markers and fussy cut the bears leaving a small white border. I die cut the trees from kraftpaper and the rest out of three different type of green cardstock and glued them together.

Out of white cardstock i die cut a rectangle panel from blueprint 29 three times. One of those i used as the back panel. The other two i cut with the snow drifts and glued them on to the base using  3-d tape. I then glued the tress on the card making sure the are on different "heights" of the card to give the card some more interest. Did the same with the bears and ended up giving the trees some spark with the red rhinestones.

Thanks for hopping by i hope i inspired you.

Greets, Marieke

Met het kaartje doe ik graag mee met de volgende challenge's:

  1. Oh my goodness! Those bears are so darn cute! And I love the "forest" you made for them, too! Thanks for joining us at CCAYR for our "tree" challenge! :)
