Februari Krafty Skrappin' (anything but a kard!) Challenge.

Today starts a new anything but a card challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps blog. You can enter this challenge with anything as long as it is not a card!

THIS MONTH'S THEME: ANYTHING GOES!!!

Products used: Kraft, red pink and white paper, My Favorite Things dies, Distress ink (barn door and picked raspberry), clear wink of stella, and a white gelpen.

I first put some distress ink on my craft sheet and mixed it with water, then i dipped half of my paper into the ink. Dried it with my heat gun and repeated the step. I stamped the images from the Love Chemistry stamp set onto neenah paper and colored them up with my copic markers. Two of each i cut on the stamped image and two of each with a white line around them. I then stamped the swirlies. I stamped the sentiments on top of them. I die cut the hearts and glued them on top of the cards.

Scream! It's your birthday!

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag heerlijk vrij en dus tijd om wat "DT verplichtingen" te doen en ontspannen een kaartje te maken gewoon omdat het kon, of in dit geval een beetje van beide. 

Gebruikte producten:  Monster Seized stamp en die, white and black cardstock, enamel dots. Blueprint 27, blueprint 15, die-namics single stitched lines, black & white striped paperpad en glossy accent.

Ik stanste de rechthoek uit blueprint 15. Sneed een dubbele witte kaart van 13,6 x 11,5. Daaronder twee stroken designpapier en twee stroken zwart cardstock. Uit hetzelfde zwarte cardstock stanste ik de cirkel stans. De tekst stempelde ik op wit papier en stanste het daarna met een banner uit blueprint 27 en paste de banner aan zodat hij passend werd.

Ik stempelde de monsters met Memento inkt en kleurde ze in met Copics, daarna stanste ik ze met de bijbehorende stansen. Ik "hing" ze alle drie aan de cirkel en plakte als laatste de enamel dots op.

Blauw - BG02, BG01, BG000

Grijs - C3, C1, C0

Zwart - BV29, BV25, BV23

Today i'm combing two challenge's in one post. It's saturday and that means a new challenge started over at our Kraftin' Kimmie Blog, and as most of you know because it's saturday we have a theme challenge. The theme of this weeks challenge is Grass! So get creative with Grass and suprise us with your lovely crafting projects!

Also on The Sketchy challenge there started a new challenge and this time we have a theme challenge and we ask you to use any kind of Frame!

Products used: Noor! Design and sizzix dies, Marianne Design papers, i'm roses flowers, twine, pin and white and kraft cardstock.

I made a square card in the size 14 x 14 cm, then i used some kraft cardstock and papers from Marianne design. I made another rectangle in the size 10 x 13,2 and i put another piece of designpaper on their. Out of white cardstock i die cut the hearts border die and the doily. I added some twine with a pin to hold the sentiment wich is part of the set. I added some flowers to finish of the card.

I stamped the Giraffe from the Wild World set and made the scene around her. I used my Copic marker to do so. I die cut everything with a sizzix die and use the same die only the outside so i could cut it out with my scissors to make the "frame" i glued it together using 3-d tape.

Hallo allemaal,

Ik wilde heel graag meedoen met alle vier de Creative Olympics onderdelen dus ik maakte vanavond toch nog het laatste kaartje en daarvoor hoorde je een kaartje te maken onder de 20 minuten. Nu had ik dat vorige keer al geprobeerd en ik was er al achter gekomen dat 20 minuten echt te weinig is om te kleuren. Dus ging ik met stansen aan de slag.

Ik stanste een rechthoek uit wit cardstock met blueprint 29, daarop stanste ik de Die-namics stitched strip. De hartjes van dezelfde set stanste ik uit rood cardstock. Ook van rood cardstock stanste ik vier keer het woord Love.

Ik heat emboste het woord you uit the essential sentiment set op zwart cardstock en sneed het uit. Op een basis kaart plakte ik een stuk gestreept designpapier en daarop plakte ik weer het geheel.

Hallo allemaal,

Daar was ik nog een keer, voorlopig de laatste denk ik want ik ben volgende week best druk! Twee dagen gewoon werken, dan nog twee dagen op de Knotsgekke Kaarten dagen werken, dan een dagje vrij en dan nog een workshop voor een kinderfeestje, dus denk dat er weinig geknutseld zal worden volgende week. Ik ging aan de slag met de schets van My Favorite Things van deze week.

Ik maakte eerst een strip met Copic papier en kleurde schetste er een raam mee. Plakte dit op elkaar en stanste het uit met een rechthoek uit blueprint 29. Vervolgens kleurde ik de ramen in met mijn copic markers en tekende met een witte gelpen sneeuwvlokken. Ik stempelde de hond en de muts, kleurde deze in plakte ze op elkaar en knipte het geheel uit. Ik wilde hem eigenlijk laten "hangen" maar vond dat toch niet wat dus tekende ik zelf een leunstoel en kleurde deze in, toen kreeg ik het idee om ook aan de binnenkant wat te kleuren en zo ging ik aan de slag met de binnenkant.

Gebruikte Materialen: Neenah solar white cardstock, Copic Markers, Snow Globe Sentiments, Ski-sons greetings, lucky dog, blueprint 29.

Ik vond het wel grappig als zijn vriendje buiten aan het spelen zou zijn en maakte een zelfde soort achtergrond alleen ditmaal buiten. Ook stempelde ik de tekst op het geheel. Stanste alles weer uit met de rechthoek en plakte het op de kaart.

Today it's saturday wich means a new challenge started over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog, today the theme is Sentiment! So use a sentiment in your card or use it as a focal point what ever you like as long as i it contains a sentiment!

Products used: Maja design papers, Marianne design dies and stamp, i'm roses flowers, Dutch Doobadoo card art kerst (470.713.638), acetate and kraft cardstock.

I took over the template on kraft cardstock and i took over the inside of the template on five different pieces of Maja design designpapers. I Die cut the flower and leaves from Marianne design out of white and kraft cardstock en finished it of with a flower. I stamped the image on white cardstock and cut it out. I finished of the card using white Geso.

I colored up the angel from the set; Heavenly Holidays, colored her up a while ago during a live color along. I fussy cut her out and placed her onto the card using 3-d tape. I wanted to use the halo aswell and i cut out a small strip of acetate and glued that on both ends so it looked like this.

Happy birthday to my favorite chick

Hallo allemaal,

Gisteren was het woensdag, knutseldag ;). Ik ging met een van de olympic challenge's van My favorite things aan de gang. De opdracht was om een een techniek met een soort kaart te combineren. Ik combineerde een shakerkaart met een in-laid die cut.

Als eerste maakte ik de wolken met het mini cloud stencil en twisted lemon distress inkt. Ik maakte met de cirkel stans twee cirkels en maakte er twee ballonnen van. 

Ik stanste het woord Happy uit de kaart en en plakte er een strook wit cardstock achter. Ik bewaarde de kleine stukjes geel/wit en stanste het woord nogmaals ditmaal uit zwart cardstock en plakte dit erop. Ik plakte daarna de kleine stukjes die ik bewaard had er tussen. Ik stempelde het woord birthday en de rest van de tekst met versafine inkt. Van Birthday maakte ik een banner.

Ik stempelde twee chicks en kleurde ze in met copic markers. Stanste ze uit en plakte ze op de kaart. Ik vulde het shaker gedeelte met zwarte, roze en doorzichtige sequins en plakte er een stuk cardstock achter. Het geheel plakte ik op een witte basis kaart die ik heb voorzien van wat gestreept designpapier.

Happiest of Birthdays

Vorige week ging de kleuren challenge bij My Favorite Things online en ik dacht oh wat een super combinatie! Helemaal mijn ding ook aangezien ik fan van roze ben ;). Ik had ook meteen een idee in mijn hoofd en ging er dan gisteren mee aan de slag,

Gebruikte producten; Plentiful Pedals + stans, Blueprint 15, Blueprint 29, Balloon strings Background stamp, More essential sentiments, wit en zwart cardstock, sequins en wit en clear embossingpoeder.

Ik kleurde eerst een van de bloemen zodat ik een idee had hoe "Roze" ze zouden worden. Daarna maakte ik de basis van de kaart. Ik stanste een rechthoek (blueprint 15) uit zwart cardstock en stempelde de achtergrond stempel. Deze heat emboste ik met clear embossingpoeder. Ik vindt dit zelf erg chic ogen ;). Ik kleurde daarna de rest van de bloemen en de blaadjes.

Ik stanste de de bloemen en blaadjes uit en zocht een leuke bloemenarrangement ;). Plakte dit op de kaart. Ik zocht even naar de juiste manier om het sentiment op de kaart te verwerken maar was toch het meest tevreden met deze oplossing. Als laatste voegde ik wat zacht roze sequins toe.

I Made another card using the uber cute set from cheryl grant called - Welcome to the world.

I made a more traditional card then the others. I used some dies from Marianne Design, twine, sewing machine, enamel dots Kraft and white cardstock.

I colored up the boy with his toy and ended up making a home scene with it.

Colourstock Copic Designteam - video tutorial

Hallo Copic Fans,

Vandaag geen foto tutorial maar een videotuorial, vergeef me als het soms niet helemaal goed te zien is, het was de eerste keer dat ik het zo gedaan heb, dus het is nog even oefenen. 

Ik ging aan de slag met de stempels Plentiful Pedals en Sketchy Flowers en more essential sentiments stempelsets van My Favorite Things, veel kijkplezier.

Christmas Greetings

Hallo allemaal,

Hier was ik vandaag nogmaals, ditmaal met een kaartje dat ik maakte met een stempelset van My Favorite Things. Ik ging aan de slag met de schets van deze week.

Uit wit cardstock stanste ik de rechthoek uit blueprint 15, daarna gebruikte ik vier maal de rounded rectangle staxx en maakte de vier "ramen" Ik hergebruikte de vier vensters om daar de achtergrond mee te maken. De lucht maakte ik met een stencil en distress inkt en het ijs maakte ik met Copic Markers.

Ik stempelde alle plaatjes en kleurde deze in met Copic Markers. Daarna knipte ik ze op een wit randje na uit. Ik stanste de tekst Joy uit rood cardstock en op groen cardstock de banner van blueprint 29. Op de banner heat emboste ik de tekst.

Krafty Peeks day 3: Wild World + a challenge

Hello all / Hello everybody,

Good morning and welcome to Day Three of our Februari New Release Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

This adorable set is from artist, Emilie Goulet! And it's called WILD WORLD!

Here are some awesome babies from the animal kingdom! Check out the giraffe, the tiger and the baby rhino! Plus some sweet accessory stamps for making backgrounds or decorating envelopes plus five coordinating sentiments! Don't you just LOVE it?!?

Used Products: Maja Design Papers, Dutch Doobadoo Card art mal romper (470.713.595), Twine, Noor! Design, Marianne Design and Craft emotions dies, I'm roses flowers, spun sugar distress inkt and white,  pink and green cardstock.

On white cardstock i drawn over the template and cut it out whit my scissors, i did the same with design papers to create the bass of the card. Off white cardstock i die cut the flags and made them into the banner. From pink cardstock i die cut the letters and made the word "Welcome".

I stamped the rhino twice on Neenah paper, one i colored with Copic Markers the other one i cut out with a cirkle die. I fussy cut the colored rhino. On the cirkel i made the background pink and stamped the sentiment from the Welcome to the world set. I took the die once more and took the outside edge of the die and cut out the cirkel again with my scissors. I glued them together with 3-d tape. I finished of my card using flowers and some die cut leaves.

Krafty Peeks day 2: Welcome to the World

Hallo Everybody,

Welcome to Day TWO of our February Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today's set is from artist, Cheryl Grant! It's called WELCOME TO THE WORLD!

This adorable set features three large images plus several lovely sentiments in a beautiful font! These are perfect for the baby cards, invitations, scrapbook pages, tags, bags and so much more! Plus we've included an adoption sentiment!

Used Products; Dutch Doobadoo Card art stencil baby bottle (470.713.582), Maja Design Papers, Flowers, Twine, Charm, Kraft and white cardstock.

With a pencil i took over the template and cut them out. I traced the inside of the stencil on to designpaper and cut them out aswell. I made two rectangle's one with designpaper and one out of kraft cardstock. I stamped the sentiment onto the top of the bottle and give it some twine and a flower. I made my famous flower arrangement topped with some twine and a charm.

I stamped and colored the image. Then fussy cut it into the heart shape. I made the background blue. I cut the heart one size bigger and then i died the heart with a die by Marianne design. i adhered everything together.

Krafty Peeks day 1: Welcome Baby

Hello all,

Welcome to Day ONE of our February release of 2018 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! You'll notice there is a theme this month and it's all about BABIES!! So we're having a shower instead of a party! Aren't I funny?

Today we're kickin' off the party....or should I say shower.... with a sweet new set from our fabulous artist, Melissa Baker-Nguyen!

This versatile set is called BABY LOVE!

Used products; Blueprint 27, Copic Markers, twisted lemon and spun sugar distress inkt and white cardstock.

I made the background first using the distress ink. Then i marked of my frame from blueprint 27 and stamped the images and the sentiments. I colored in the images, and fussy cut the ones that are on top of the card. I adhered the frame onto the base with 3-d tape and did the same with the images.

Gastdesigner Crazy for CAS

Hallo allemaal / Hello everybody,

Vandaag een kaart die ik maakte naar aanleiding van mijn gastdesignerschap van deze maand bij het Crazy for Cas challenge blog. Daar gaat vandaag een challenge online met het thema " knuffelbaar". Ik moet je heel eerlijk bekennen hier heb ik echt wel even over na  moeten denken. Maar er komt altijd wel een idee op zetten en ook in dit geval. Het werd wel een kleintje.

De basis is een dubbele witte kaart van 8 x 8. Daarop een wit vierkant dat ik heb gestanst met een stans van My favorite Things. Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van de itty bitty bears ook van MFT gestempeld en ingekleurd met Copics, de tekst eronder gestempeld en klaar is je kaartje.

Gastdesigner Dutch Card Lovers

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag heb ik de eer om gastdesigner te mogen zijn voor het Dutch Card Lovers blog. Daar start vandaag ook een challenge met de uitdaging om een kaart te maken met een met een leuke vouw techniek. Je kan bv. denken aan een kaart met een flap, een trifold kaart, een waterfall kaart een stepper kaart, Z-fold kaart enz. 

Gebruikte producten - From the herd, happy hippos stempelset, Dutch doobadoo fold card art (470.713.625), die namics cloud nine, die namics rolling hills, mini clouds stencil, salty ocean/ mowed lawn en twisted citron distress inkt.

Op wit cardstock nam ik de mal over van dutch doobadoo en knipte deze uit. Op nog een stuk wit cardstock nam ik ik de binnenzijde van de mal over voor de binnenstukken van de kaart. Op de binnenstukken maakte ik de wolken met het stencil en salty ocean distress inkt. 

Op een stuk papier maakte ik het grass met de twee kleuren distress inkt, spoot er wat water op zodat hij wat vlekkeriger werd en stanste het uit met de rolling hills stans, deze gebruikte ik nogmaals dit keer voor het hekwerk. Ik maakte het passend en plakte ze op de binnen stukken van de kaart. Ik stanste wat losse wolken en plakte deze op met 3-d tape.

Ik stempelde de dieren, de bak, het hooi en de ballonnen op mijn copic papier en kleurde deze in met copics. Ik stanste daarna alles uit met de bijbehorende stansen van de set en plakte deze met tape of 3-d tape op de kaart. Als laatste stempelde ik de tekst op de kaart.
